From a glimpse, there were several very large X's over sentences. "It seems you are fit to perform the next task that I so generously paid you to do."
The Dunmer rolls his eyes as he does an impression of a maiden in need of assistance. "Oh, hero! I've misplaced a precious heirloom that looks like a useless spoon with a mystical charm on it. I think it's in Highpoint Tower, north of here. Please help me!"
Neloth's assistant began to clap half-sarcastically as the wizard urged you out of his fungal home.

On a scale of "yes" or "no?" how scalable is the tower wall?
If yes (and there's an open window or balcony or something on the top), scale tower wall.
Else, knock on door.

There is an opening about 20 feet up, and you might be able to scale the wall.
