Great! I'm glad we've managed to mostly puzzle it out so far. I believe we mostly decided on Mithos because he was available, but if Mori is so soon then I'd be willing to take the risk.

*Wants to update* *Is too tired to write* I'll guess I'll settle for a quick Infobump. Garth: A tribal chieftain from Cozumel, who mysteriously disappeared several years ago along with his whole hunting party. He has only one child of his own, a young daughter named Ilia. He visited Naandia once many years ago, and seems to recognize Sonia, though for whatever reason, she doesn't remember him. He was once a fearless leader and a renowned warrior known as the "Lion of Morzio", but the man Sonia met in the Arena is only a shadow of his former self. He refuses to talk about his past, or how he found himself in a twisted arena of death, but Nyx seems to know the truth.

(POV Nagi) Mount Scar, BF2Lava ValleyI've been to many places in my life... I've seen many wonders. The frozen tundra of Jotunheim, the Mythril Mountains of Saaria... Even the shores of the Forgotten Continent. But this..."This place is older than time," you breathe in awe, staring at the vast fields of lava spread out before you. You kneel down and place the palm of your hand against the surprisingly cool cavern floor, while Jet wipes the sweat off his brow. Vex had already stripped down to the bare minimum, wearing little more than a rolled up black undershirt and rolled up shorts, and she was carefully sipping from her canteen. "This entire mountain must date back to the Second Age, perhaps even the First," you whisper, mostly to yourself. No wonder Father had a retreat on this island. This may very well be the oldest remaining place in all of Asgard. You rise to your feet and turn your attention to your new druid friend. "Go on and take off the robes, Jet. They'll just weigh you down. And you won't last five minutes in this heat with those on." He sighs, but doesn't argue. You turn your back to give him some privacy, and carefully survey the landscape. The lava tunnel had opened up into an entirely different world. This cavern- if you could truly call it that- seemingly stretched on for miles in every direction. Even with a dragon's eyesight, finding the other side is like trying to find the horizon. Every time you think you see it, more and more of the cavern opens up and reveals itself. Above, there is no ceiling. Just an endless abyss, as dark as the bottom of the ocean. Every now and then, you'd catch a glimpse of odd, fiery skeleton bird-like things gliding lazily through the darkness, sending showers of embers from their wings, illuminating even more endless darkness above them. The cavern floor snaked around giant pools and lakes of bubbling lava, ending abruptly at every turn and then reforming someplace else, as the lava boiled over and swallowed the pathway. At the same time, a different patch of lava cooled and hardened, right in front of your very eyes, creating an endless, ever changing maze as far as the eye could see. Large molten lizards, as big as a man, crawled across the cavern floor in the distance. "We need to move," Jet says suddenly, drawing your attention back to him. Like Vex, he had stripped down to only the bare essentials, and now only wore a set of light travel gear. "Now that the volcano is active, the lava fields are always moving, always changing. I know a way to cross, but that path could collapse at any moment. And..." He trailed off, his expression suddenly becoming grim. "And?" You prompt. "Nothing. We need to hurry. This way, quickly." A brief flash of fear swept through Vex's eyes as she hastily scanned the bubbling lakes, and though she quickly concealed it, you still caught the look. And the meaning. There's something here... Isn't there? There's something beneath the lava. Something Vex is terrified of.You discreetly follow Vex's gaze, and notice something peculiar about the behavior of the local wildlife, something you hadn't noticed before. The giant lava lizards are giving the lava a very wide berth. You decide to keep your observations to yourself for now. "Lead the way, Jet."

Extreme Heat: When inside Mount Scar, all characters will slowly lose health during battle, and every battle will have a 12 turn limit, before Vex and Jet will pass out, and the battle will be considered lost. Battles lost in this way will not result in a game over screen; instead, Nagi will carry Jet and Vex back out of the mountain, and there will be a small scene. You will lose Jet and Vex as playable characters, and will be forced to go through the dungeon all over again, with only Nagi. You will also lose any treasure or items you found in the caves.

(Continued)
As Jet and Vex carefully guide you through the lava fields, you can feel the mountain slowly beginning to react to your presence. Neither Jet or Vex notice it, of course, but you can feel the mountain shifting and stirring all around you, like a giant behemoth shaking off the throes of sleep. Whatever this... Creature truly is, it knows you're here. And, perhaps most troubling, it knows who you are.
Could this have something to do with Father? Why would one of His aspects be living on this island anyway? Why would He choose to train Jet? There must be some connection. This island, the world of Nil... There must be some deeper meaning behind it. But what?
You're so lost in your thoughts you almost run smack into Jet's backside when he stops abruptly.
"Look there," He says, pointing to your left.
You follow his finger, and find what appears to be a small stone monument of some kind, at the end of a jagged path of hardened lava. Curiously, both the monument and the path appear to be untouched by the surrounding lava, almost like there was some sort of invisible wall shielding it. And yet... You can't sense or see anything. As far as your heightened senses can tell, it's just a simple stone slab sticking out of an ordinary path of rock at an awkward angle, like someone haphazardly tossed the monument into the lava and the lava hardened around it... Somehow without melting it.
Jet directs your attention to the opposite side of the monument, to a small island far out in the center of one of the largest lakes. Sure enough, you can make out another stone monument there too, identical to the first in every way, even down to the small writing inscribed on it. But... How... How strange. I can't identify the language at all. It's completely foreign to me. I can't make out a single letter.
"Those have been here since the dawn of Cozumel," Jet explains. "Or at least, as long as my people have kept historical records. No one knows what they are, or what their purpose is, and none can read their language. The stones are a completely mystery to us. How do they not melt? Who placed them here? What are they? Warnings? Shrines? Generation after generation, the Shamans of my tribe have tried in vain to understand the mysteries of the Glowing Stones."
"The glowing stones?" You repeat, perplexed.
He nods. "Watch."
He turns to walk down the small path to your left, and you're about to tell him to be careful, but he motions for you to follow him. Realizing it must be safe, otherwise he wouldn't have told you to follow, you hurry after him, while Vex stays behind and takes a sip from her canteen.
You catch up to Jet just as he reaches the stone monument. He kneels in front of it, bowing his head slightly, and places his left hand against its surface, and suddenly, the monument begins to give off a subtle green glow. He retracts his hand and the glow immediately fades. He then rises to his feet and places his hand against the monument again, but this time, nothing happens.
"They're also called the Praying Stones," Jet continues. "Because they only glow if you kneel before them, and lower your head. For this reason, many of my people believe they were once used in some sort of religious practice, and believe them to be holy objects. It's one of the reasons why this mountain is sacred to us."
...Religious objects? Now I see... I think I'm starting to understand. If these monuments were created by my Father, or for my Father, then they should respond to me as well.
"Let me try."
Jet nods and stands back, and you take his place. You drop to your knees and lower your head, and reach out to touch the monument and-
"Come on guys, hurry it up!" Vex says suddenly from behind you, walking up to join you and Jet. "I love history as much as the next girl, but now isn't exactly the best time for a lesson. I'm dying here."
You retract your hand and stand up, smiling. "Right. Sorry. Let's move on. Jet, how much farther? We should try to find a place to rest soon."
"Barring any recent changes to the landscape, there's a small alcove in the wall that forms a small cave not far from here. There's an old, partially dried up water vein that runs through it, so the temperature is a bit cooler in there under most circumstances. However, with the volcano active, I can't guarantee that will still be the case."
"We'll just have to see for ourselves when we get there," you answer. "It sounds like our best option. So lead the way, Jet."
He nods again, and starts walking back towards the main path, with Vex close behind him. You start to follow, then pause and turn back to look at the monument. You squint a bit. Something had caught the corner of your eye.
Hmm... Was it really just my imagination?
For the briefest of moments, no more than a split second at most, the words on the monument appeared to move.

You continue to trudge on through the heat for what feels like an eternity before you finally see the cave Jet mentioned; little more than a crack in the mountain's rough hide, barely wide enough for you to squeeze into.
"Ladies first," Jet says politely, motioning to the crevice and hiding a small grin.
Both you and Vex simultaneously glare at him, which only serves to make him laugh. Vex softened at the sound of his laughter, clearly taking it as a sign he was doing better. But you weren't so sure. Hopefully she's right.
You turn sideways and squeeze into the crevice, shimmying through to the other side. You're pleasantly surprised when it opens up into a cozy little cave, with enough room to fit not only you and your companions, but your extra baggage as well. And what's more, Jet had been right. It was significantly cooler in the cave than outside in the lava fields. You heave a sigh of relief and wipe the sweat off your brow.
Vex and Jet squeeze in after you, and pile their excess clothes on the hard ground, creating a makeshift campsite. "We'll rest here for a bit," you say, collapsing in the corner, where you would have the best view of outside, just in case.
Your companions both nod in agreement, and Vex helps Jet sit down, gently propping him up against the wall. She then collapses next to him, clearly exhausted, and leans her head on his shoulder, smiling contentedly. You smile at the sight and close your eyes.
She's a tough girl. I'm glad for them. I just hope Sonia and Eren are alright.

Nagi X ??? Cwww.youtube.com/watch?v=T2nQ3EHrH8sYou lean back against the cavern wall, and stare up at the ceiling, and before you realize it, you slowly begin to doze off. What seems to be a mere instant later, your eyes flutter open to an oddly familiar sound, one you can't place. It fills you with a sense of nostalgia and yearning, almost like a dear memory of the past. You look around the cavern and find yourself alone, though you feel no worry, only... You don't know how to describe it. It's like an odd mixture of certainty, relief, and... Sorrow? Hope? It takes you a full minute to realize the sound is coming from outside the cave, back out in the lava fields. Without hesitation, you follow it. But when you step out of the cave, you find yourself in a completely place than you remember. Instead of Mount Scar's lava fields, you find yourself standing on a vast beach of white sands, bordering on an impossibly vast dark blue ocean, stretching on for eternity. Behind you, the cave sits like a doorway to a different dimension, standing completely apart from everything around it. But the scenery wasn't really what held your attention; it was the beautiful woman standing at the water's edge, the waves gently lapping at her bare feet, her short pink cloak and long green hair billowing slightly in a nonexistent wind. Tears sting your eyes. "How?" You whisper. "Is this a dream?" She turns and smiles warmly, beckoning you to join her at the water's edge. You hesitate for a moment, then kick off your boots and join her. "Yes and no," she replies softly, biting her lip slightly, like she always used to do when she was deep in thought. That single action brought with it such a flood of emotion that you very nearly burst into tears, and suddenly, it was like you were a little girl again. "This is a dream," she continues. "But it is also very real. Both this place and I- we are real." "I watched you die," you breathe, and choke back a sob. The reality of that slams into you all over again, and having only recently recovered your memories, it proves too much for you to take, and you break down. She holds you tightly against her until the tears finally stop and you can speak again. "We both know, that sometimes, it doesn't end there," Tiki says gently, wiping your tears away with her cloak. Maybe so, but something tells you it's not quite the same. You take a shaky breath to compose yourself and reluctantly pull away, turning to look out at the endless sea. "... So what is this place? You said this was real too." "In a sense," your mother answers cryptically, her smile widening. "This is the Shore of Eternity; you are quite literally standing at the Edge of Time." The Edge of Time? I guess I really shouldn't be surprised, considering who and what we are, and yet..."It's beautiful," you breathe quietly. "But... As happy as I am to see you again after so long- and I am, I'm truly happy, happier than I can express- and as beautiful as this place is... I know you, Amah. You didn't call me here for a social call or for the beautiful scenery. What's wrong? What can I do to help? Is everything okay? Are you okay?" She giggles softly. "Easy now. I know you must be overwhelmed. But one thing at a time. I am perfectly fine, and I'm not the one who needs help; you are." She gives a heavy sigh. "Forgive me, my dear. I meant to send you to Cozumel in order to bring you closer to your father, and free you from the Culture's influence once and for all, but everything didn't go exactly as I envisioned, and you lost your memories as a result. But I'm going to make this right, I swear." Floored by that sudden revelation, you simply blink in stunned disbelief. Finally, you ask, "You sent me here? Because you knew one of father's aspects was living here?" She gives a sad smile and nods. "Yes, and also because this island is deeply rooted in the past, and has deep connections to our family. I felt it was the only way, the only truly safe place I could send you... But I didn't foresee the Culture's influence extending this far, even out here, and I didn't foresee Ephidel using Aquarius's own oath against her... This is all my fault. And for that, I am so very sorry." You soften and bury your face in her shoulder. "It's fine Amah. Even you can't see everything. You don't need to apologize..." She's silent for a moment. "But I do... You will face great sorrow, and it is all because of my mistake... Forgive me. But while I may not be able to change what has already passed, I can give you the help you need to overcome the trials ahead. It's time I passed the knowledge and power of the Eldest onto you." You feel your eyes widen. "A-are you sure? I'm not a Divine Dragon anymore... Am I even compatible?" Tiki hesitates for a moment. "I don't know," she answers honestly. A look of sorrow, as vast as the endless ocean before them, crossed her serene, timeless features. "... But I have to try. I've been a horrible mother to you, and now, this is the only way I have left to make it up to you." "Don't say that!" You snap angrily, on the verge of tears again. "I couldn't have asked for a better mother than you. So don't you dare-" "Shh Nagi," she breathes softly, pulling you into her arms. "No more words. You'll wake soon, so let's just enjoy the time we have together." You give a subtle nod and begin to sob quietly against her, while she starts to hum softly. -------- *Nagi's unique item, "Mark of the Eldest", has been upgraded*
