LS is all about keeping up your spirit, while Hammer really shines in multiplayer because of the stuns.
LS is the bane of all multiplayer players, because it trips everyone else.

There's also a guild quest- Or is it an event quest?- where you have to hunt 30 Sharqs in the Water Arena.

Also, on a random note, did you guys know they give you Elder Dragon armor in the 4U demo? The Great Sword set has Jormungandr(Dalamadur) armor, and the Hunting Horn set(I believe) has Teostra armor.

You know there's a new food skill that prevents tripping, right? It's called Feet, and it's relatively easy to get. LS is actually viable in multiplayer now.

Which set combination gives Feet?
Also, I just killed Zamtrios without using a single recovery item.
Yeaaaaaaaaaaah...
Zamtrios was awesome though. It's a landshark that armors itself.
I have to say that the 4th Gen monsters are probably the coolest and most varied.

Silly Doug, food skills are from eating!
I was asking which combination of food options guarantees the Feet skill.

It's a Daily food skill, and I believe it's most common in Dairy and Fish combos. And yes, I completely agree about the 4th gen monsters. They're seriously cool.
You wanna do some quests? Or do you want to wait for GX?

By trip, so you mean the fade slash? Stepping back while swinging? If so, it's pretty obvious not to use it in multiplayer unless you're the only one near the monster. LS is relatively easy to use for me.
Gaining spirit is the hardest part. Monsters move, and while doing a combo, they can just attack you; making it all for naught.

I'm gonna wait for GX.
I just beat Najarala only using the First Aid medicines and a whetstone.
The ability to jump with the Insect Glaive is really helpful for him, since you can easily escape if he surrounds you.

All of the Spirit attacks can trip players, not just the fade slash. And gaining Spirit is easy once you know the monster's patterns. And even when you don't, it's still pretty easy. You just need more experience, is all.

By tripping, it's hitting anyone with any attack. The longsword has a really wide attack arc, so it makes it difficult for anyone else near you.

...... All? .... .... ..... *Insert "That's not my fault if you were too close to me. You saw me start up my spirits attacks. That isn't my problem." Comment.
Kidding, kidding. Sounds like a double-edged sword here. Is it normal to get burned out? I don't really feel like picking up the game right now.

What are we going to hunt?

Hmm... I'm hunting Rathian right now to get the ability to make delicious steaks outside of the field. That should be done shortly. I've gotten really good with the IG. Much better than I ever was with the LS or SA.

Got a Rathian in less than ten minutes. It's much better compared to the first time I fought it in 3U. That was almost 30.

So, should we go ahead and try to graduate to HR2?

I just beat two Berserk Tigrexes. One of them was even a Silver Crown. GX, I need to cap a Gypceros so I can unlock the HR1 Urgent. But Multiplayer works a bit differently in this game. We each have to do the quests individually. Gah, how do I explain this? For example, if you join my quest in my Gathering Hall and you complete it, you still have to do the Quest in your own game too. This includes Key and Urgent quests. So we'll have to do each quest 3 times, one for each of us. ... Make sense? I'm fine with doing mine solo, or working with randoms though. I could probably reach HR5 in an hour, if I set my mind to it. So let's work on your quests.

We both know that you can't reach HR5 in an hour.
There's at least 20 hunts that you need to do, and 3 minutes each is impossible.
