I don't really know if I'll have the time tomorrow. I have to go and see about physical therapy for my hand after school.

I BEAT HIM!!!! I SOLOED THE BLACK GOD!!!!!!!

Heh... Hah... Holy flipping s***, Akantor is harder in this game than he was in Freedom Unite. I carted twice, was out of literally ALL my healing items, my Palicos were dead, I had barely any health left and was dying from the heat, because I didn't have any cooldrinks left. I literally had my finger on the Abandon Quest button. I was NOT going to fail, not after all that.

I hit him and miraculously flinched him. I did my full charge combo, but he still didn't die. He got up and prepared to do his OHKO AOE blast, his attack that hits 99% of the entire map. I knew I was dead, but I took one last defiant swing. AND I KILLED HIM!!!!

With two minutes left on the clock, I won! And I even managed to cut off his tail, and break one of his tusks!!!!!

Hah... I'm still shaking. That was the most intense fight of my entire hunting career. It even topped Crimson Fatalis in Freedom Unite. And this was a HR Akantor, it wasn't even G Rank...

A word of warning from a veteran, to everyone playing 4U. Once you reach Akantor, do not even attempt to solo him. I repeat, do NOT try to solo him. It will only end horribly for you. I barely managed to win, and I've fought him before.

So, guess what? I just found us a fourth hunter, GX.

I was doing some Brachy quests with randoms when I met him. He's basically the same rank as me, all he has to do is the Shagaru urgent(Which we want to do anyway and this will give us another opportunity to fight Shagaru) and he mains CB and Bow. And from what I've seen, he's pretty good. He'll be helpful to have around, since we desperately need a Gunner.

His IGN is Christian, and I'm going to try and set up a trial run tomorrow. If we all work well together, I'll link him to the Verse, so we can all plan hunts at the same time.

Let's be honest here. We're almost at G-Rank, and we need a 4th hunter. I'm thinking this could be the guy we're looking for. The only potential problem is he seems to live in a very different timezone. It's almost one in the morning here, and he mentioned having to go to school. We'll see if it works out.

To this day, she is widely considered to be the strongest monster in the entire series. She's also what I based Nagi's dragon form in UB off of.

Caravan Gore is bad, but it's meant to be way easier. Caravan Shagaru was easy for me too. But just wait until HR missions. They are so much more unpredictable then. Like last night, we faced HR Shagaru and destroyed him in under 5 minutes. Second time? Neo and I carted at the same time less than two minutes into the fight, and Golurk followed shortly after.

Point is, don't ever underestimate them.

Don't believe how strong a monster is changes what they are; especially when they're terribly hyped up. Each monster has its strength and weakness after all.

And I know he's unpredictable. He's finally giving me the challenge in expedition he was supposed to give me in the story. He made me cart, so I restarted the game. I refuse to keep dying to such a specimen when he can only show his true strength in an expedition rather than story.

But to be honest, he isn't all that unpredictable. I just keep making noob mistakes. Blocking helps, but then hiis constant virus spawns get me.

Not only that, taggof refuses to give me his feelers, so I can be REALLY FEELING IT!

He stands in the way of me forging his insect Glaive. But like Tetsu, he will be wrecked. These monsters will learn one day that my shonen powers will always beat them. One day...
