I used mixed sets in 3U.
My old profile had Golden Ceadeus armor with a Wroggi chest, which gave me a bunch of stat bonuses once properly gemmed.

It should be easy to find. It's the Starter Kit, in the special section, once you connect to the DLC shop. |

Oh, stick to full sets?
Kinda nervous about that.
I'm so used to checking the resistance stats before making armor.
Placed on a kecha helm, Jaggi Faulds, Velociprey graves and braces, and I think a Kut chestplate. Saw ice res skyrocket to -11, and two others hit -9.
Am I overreacting, or am I that terrible?

I just OBLITERATED that poor Gravios. Barely had to use any healing items, broke all of his parts and cut off his tail, and capped him in around 15 minutes. I only got one Inferno Sac, but still. The satisfaction is real, and that's why I love MH.

I hate Gypceros so much. It's even more annoying than Qurupeco. How is birdy annoying? Besides his initiating voice, I found him/her/it to be amazingly easy. Crimson, however, is a bugger. Flashing attacks... |

Speaking of which, I can't wait for us to fight Black Diablos for the first time in 4U. Oh man, we're gonna lose so many times...

Fun fact: I first fought Black Diablos before I fought regular Diablos, so I had no idea what I was getting into.
Funner fact: I beat it first try without carting.
