So, I just thought I'd warn you guys, so you don't end up as hunter mincemeat. There's a quest in early High Rank to deliver a Sootstone in the Sunken Hollow, I believe. I don't remember exactly what tier the quest is, but if you see a similar quest, either in offline or online, be extra careful.
One of the early ferry quests in HR has a 100% chance to spawn Deviljho.

You know what's a really good way to farm HR Tetsu offline? There's a Hunt-a-Thon: Tetsu quest in the 7 star caravan.
It's like a buffet of Tetsus. You can kill as many as you want.

I just hunted 4 Tetsus in one quest and I still don't have enough to make his gear... Fun times. Golurk, GX, you guys want to farm him together?

No, it's not. But it's still pretty damn big. I don't think they'll ever make a monster larger than Raviente, which is a real shame since we can't fight him in the main series.

But I think it would be interesting to do a Jonah thing, where you're swallowed by Dah'ren or Jhen, and have to fight your way back out of him. It would make the fight more interesting.

Just finished farming for Hercudromes. I'm getting used to the torn pad. Replacements should be arriving on Wednesday. I'm also giving one to one of my friends because he managed to rub out the rubber in the middle of his pad.

Low Rank: Primal Forest Area 4(33%)
Frozen Seaway Area 4(35%), Area 9(35%)
Heaven's Mount Area 6(30%)
High Rank: Primal Forest Area 4(37%)

Heaven's Mount Area 6(29%)

You can use the Wycoon to farm Might Seeds, but not Hercudromes.

Ah! Found it! The quest is called Splendid Sootstone, and it's a HR4 online quest. It has a guaranteed chance for Deviljho to spawn. Hey Golurk, you wanna introduce GX to the giant pickle?  |
