Garuga is apparently hilariously weak against Water. His back has a 50 hitzone against it and can easily be hit with pierce shots and can hit the zone multiple times, so with P. Water 2 Shots (23 base water per hit, 5 hits), I can get 3-4 hits on it with a 210 power bowgun (elemental shot damage isn't flat like Blademaster weapons, but is treated like an MV), with Element Up and Water Atk+2, I can do 34-35 damage per hit, which means I can potentially do 175 damage with a single shot, not counting the physical damage or other multipliers present.

Huh, Gold and Silver Raths weren't too bad with a bowgun.
Worst monster to fight is Hyper Lagiacrus. He spams his explosion ball attack and it has a stupidly large hotbox and instant kills Gunners at max health.

Worst monster is Kirin. I hate that stupid Pony. I soloed Pony on the flight home, but it took me 30 minutes and I used all my healing items.

I remember soloing Orochi Kirin with a GS.
That was painful.
Try using Bow for Kirin. Don't have to worry about bouncing and you can avoid most of his attacks with positioning.
