I am so sick and tired of the automatic two-hit stun BS in this game. It's literally automatic. Why I'm the only one who's noticed this is beyond me. Trying to do the stupid Owl key quest for HR5, and I've been stunned 5 times so far. Five times. I've counted. That's not "me noticing the bad things more". It's a fact. I've been stunned 5 times so far, and each time was a two-hit stun. I have been two-hit stunned by nearly every single large monster I've fought. That is utter BS, and is most definitely unique to MHG. I'll boot up 4U right now to prove it.

The Owl has a lot of light hits that go unnoticed because they deal miniscule damage and don't stagger.
But the two hit stun is hardly automatic. I've noted multiple times today where I've been hit twice or three times in a row and haven't been stunned. It's usually the majority.

7 times. Anyone who says it's not automatic at this point is just denying reality. I'm done. Abandoned the quest. I'm just going to be permanently stuck at HR5, because I'm never doing that quest ever again.

I've been two-hit stunned by everything from Uragaan to Steve to Gore to Owl. Literally the vast majority of monsters in this game. It's automatic. Owl's divebomb chase combo stuns me every single time. Without fail. |

Sure, stun rates might have been changed, but they are hardly automatic.

Just did several quick hunts against a lot of different monsters- LR, HR, and GR- where I purposely let them hit me for a bit then abandoned the quest. The only monster that managed to stun me at all was Gold Rathian.
Whereas in MHG I've been stunned what must be dozens of times by now. By over ten different monsters.

I was stunned 7 times in one hunt by HR Owl. That is not an exaggeration, because I counted. Unless you're outright calling me a liar now? I was two-hit stunned by Uragaan. Brachy. Steve. Asty. Khezu. Owl. Gore. Tigrex. Bubble. Plesi. And several others I can't remember off the top of my head. Those are just the monsters that I remember for a fact have two-hit stunned me multiple times. |

But that's not the point.
It's not automatic, otherwise everyone would be stunned every time, but that's not the case.

Well, I certainly get stunned every single time.
