Less than 10 minutes, broke every part on his body, only used the 3 first aid meds. And my cat landed the final blow. Poor Rainbow Dragon.

Whelp, time for the infamous Fated Four quest. I believe this is the last quest before the urgent to Village High Rank. Hunt all four flagships in the Forlorn Arena. Fun times.

I no-carted it, though I had to tap into my megapotions for the first time. You should have no trouble.
Then again, aerial really shuts down Blade Butt. And Swax means those bubbles weren't a concern. And having Astalos' armor gave me an advantage there. Really I think Grammoth did as much as the others combined.

I'm going in with upgraded Kirin armor(211 defense, Element Atk Up, Divine Blessing, Mounting Master) and Dino's Lv 2 SnS, Aerial Style. Decided to go with my strongest fire element SnS, because it will obliterate both Gammoth and Bubble Dragon and be neutral against Astalos. My only problem will be Dino himself. He's the bane of my existence without Adept style, and I'll be using both a weapon and armor that he's strong against.

Also, no, Aerial Style doesn't shut down Blade Butt at all. If anything, he's a lot harder with it because he can easily swat you out of the sky and then combo you. You must have just got really lucky. Adept Style is what completely shuts him down.

Eh? When he does his horizontal swipe, ju- Right. Swaxe. With Swaxe you slash up right through his tail on the horizontal swing then have a clean shot at the head coming down. And you just side-shuffle the vertical then side-swipe for a free nick. Just tank the other attacks.

By the way, I don't think there are Village HR quests. I've done all but, like, 5 of the 6-stars.

Which means I made a mistake upgrading my Gore SnS to the Shagaru version because it's going to be a long time before I can get Nova Crystals... Oh well. Guess I now have to farm Gore some more.

Not that long. Just, what, 2 or 3 more hub quests, then the urgent? And I want in on that urgent. I want that thing DEAD, not just repelled.
He's so eerie and his theme's wonderful I love him I must kill him.
And you can get Nova crystals right off the bat in HR4.

Nakarkos. High Rank is HR4-7 OH RIGHT. I forgot the urgent to get into High Rank was to repel the Bone Hydra. The Bone Hydra is seriously freaking cool. Crow, are you already HR4? I really don't like soloing guild quests...

I'll be back at the hotel room pretty soon, so I'll forge myself some better Blademaster armor and join. But that will take a while, so don't wait until I'm there if you're already ready.

I had to abandon my first Fated Four attempt because Gammoth decided to be a b**** and I forgot to stock up on potions after my last hunt. So now I'm in a foul mood.

Item Sets are your friend.
Also, Gammoth is really easy with a Bow.

I'm still in the office. Which I can't connect my 3DS to the wifi of, even if it hadn't died. But I did do some offline stuff while waiting for files to convert. I think I just killed Metal Gear Ray to hit HR5? RULES OF NATURE!

Well I've been skipping non-key quests and haven't farmed up any HR armor.
Oh, that's not entirely true. I did a few of the quests that take place in the arena in HR4. Because I'm fine with killing 5 wuss-monsters in a row, but chasing 1 down through a jungle? Nope.
And I didn't farm new armor, but now that I can buy advanced armor spheres to upgrade Astalos, I'm up to... plenty of armor. Oh! Remind me to upgrade my maid outfit once I'm home and recharging.

I made and upgraded Tetsu Blademaster armor (199 Defense) so I'm good to hunt now.
