I got a good bow from Bladebutt, but if I am switching to hammer or Lance, I'll need to pick out a good weapon.

All the flagships have really good weapons.
Also, poor Gore. Adept LS utterly destroys him. He died so quickly I couldn't even cut his tail off. But I broke everything else.

I killed my first Gore in 7 minutes with a bow, with bad playing, and it was a Big Silver Crown.

But Teostra? Holy crap. The first non-deviant to have me in a corner since that blasted Blangonga. I had to change up my tactics.
From hit it a lot.

Aerial is really only OP with Swaxe and DB. It removes one of the biggest limiters of the Switch Axe, the extremely limited mobility. Aerial's still limited, but nowhere near as bad. It has a problem with control and accuracy, but that's easy to get around with some practice. Attacking on the up and down stroke in blade mode is so great. Especially when there's two monsters. Up on Wacha! Down on Maccao! Wacha! Maccao! Wacha! Maccao! |

I think I'm gonna start maining Striker Lance. Evade lancing is really fun (I used to be a guard GL) and the Hunter parts are all great.
Aiming for the head with Hammer is a pain solo, though with a paired Aerial player it would probably be much better since you could mount then KO.

Adept LS is so freaking OP. I usually hate Tigrex, but after that beating, I feel sorry for the poor thing.

When we do hunt, can we... Where do you even get Lava Nuggets? Cause I need like 10. Aren't they like Zinogre's Fulgerbugs but with that pain-in-the-ass Urgaan?

Lava Nuggets are mined off of Uragaan's back and dropped by Agnaktor.

Uragaan is weak to KO iirc, and strong stagger hits can knock it over. Just don't get swept back by his tail.

Sounds like a crazy Friday night, eh? I might have cancelled STARS partly because I knew this was a distinct possibility. If nothing else, I knew it would cut into my planning time. Because I spent all work week working on it and I managed to help get my co-worker's reads to work but not my own because **** me. |
