Serlen grinned darkly and with one flip rocketed off the tree.
He grinned and a memory flashed in his head. "Dragon strike." He yelled and landed an armored boot into barons head, propelling himself forward.
He snicked as he watched the vampires face slam into the ground.
"Thanks for the lift." He replied.

Again, Silver casts her father an odd look. "I thought you weren't going to help them?" She asks curious.
He gives a very unsettling, knowing smile. "They've learned what I wanted them to. Besides... Who says I did?"
Okay... This was definitely not like him. Her father was usually stoic and icy to the core around others, and yet... He seemed to be enjoying this. "I'm going to go take a nap," she says suddenly, excusing herself from the table. "We'll resume lessons in a bit, okay? But feel free to practice whenever you like."
She walks back towards her father, changing into a dragon as she does, and lays down at his feet. Are you feeling okay?
He gives a subtle nod. Of course. Why telepathy? We can speak openly here.
Silver doesn't answer, instead laying her head on her paws. Something still nagged at her...

"Hey don't be mad at me because you angered the magical rock," said Baron waving his fist at Serlen.
"So I guess your ready then?" said Baron shaking himself off.
"I just hope this isn't my last time outdoors," said Baron with some fear.
The youth just looked at Baron. "It's not Vincent I am scared of it's Catie I am afraid of," said Baron.
"She probably thinks I am dead and when I show up alive," said Baron while shivering. " Well I am probably going to wish I was," said Baron as he made his way inside.
Meanwhile ...
"So it was that jerk," said Catie with malious intent. "Good I can finally get my revenge on him hahaha," laughed a slightly crazed Catie.
Before Catie left she 'borrowed' Shalla's stave. Before Shalla could realize what happened to her staff Catie was already out the room. "Thank you letting me borrow this staff," said Catie as she left the room.
"This is another thing you will pay for Baron," growled Catie. "You made me steal this staff from poor, innocent Shalla," growled a crazed wolf named Catie. As Catie made her way to the entrance.

Shalla reached for her staff, but didn't find it.
"You wolf ." She roared, taking off after Catie.

As they got inside Baron and Serlen didn't encounter anyone towards the entrance of Vincent's underground city. Baron's nerves began to calm as they got deeper in the city that was until. A familiar sight began to get in the view of Serlen and Baron.
"Why if it isn't brother?" called out Catie as she made her ways towards Baron.
"Catie I am sorry for putting you through this ordeal hopefully you can forgive me?" Baron said with a noticeable amount of fear.
What Catie did next shooked Baron as she went in and gave him a big hug. "I am just glad you are home safe Baron and I am not mad," said Catie with an erie calm.
What Baron didn't notice was Catie rear her knee back. "Catie did you just call me Bar..." was the final thing Baron said after Catie delivered a vicious knee to the sweet spot. As Baron was slumped down in pain Catie just knelt before Baron and said " I am not mad at you Baron,". "I am furious with you," said Catie with extreme anger.
"Ahh poor Baron you look like you are in pain let me 'heal' those wounds of yours," said Catie unsheathing 'her' staff. For what felt like an eternity Catie just went ahead and opened up a can of whoop *** on Baron. "The only reason you aren't dead right now is because Silver told me this was part of a test," said Catie with a primal growl as she was thrashing Baron with the staff. " You little Dastard I had to steal this staff from Shalla to beat you with it," said a histerical Catie.
"Why did it have to be a staff?" thought a semiconscious Baron. "Not only do the blows hurt like hell but the the 'healing' affects sting just as much," thought Baron.
While Catie was laying the smack down with the staff she didn't notice Shalla coming towards her to retrieve her staff.

Serlen watched the scene in disbelief. "Glad I have no women worried about me." He thought with relief.
He saw Shalla grasp Catie from behind and wrench her staff back.
"Well, something is good." Serlen nodded, until he saw Shalla making her way towards him.
"Or not..." He thought, slightly intimidated.
Shalla charge at him and delivered a sucker punch to his face.
The prince stumbled to te ground in a daze as Shalla glared at him angrily.
"W-what?" He gasped out, clutching his jaw.
"Don't ever leave me behind with these weirdos." Shalla hissed, and walked back the way she came.
"Reminds me to much of Celincia." Serlen groaned, and followed after her.
He cast a sympathetic look at Baron who was getting punched.

As Catie went for one more strike she noticed something was missing. "I will deal with Shalla later," thought Catie. "Well at least I got my fists," she thought as she started punching Baron.
15 minutes later....
"Okay that was fun," said Catie. "I hoped you learned a valuable lesson big brother," as Catie leaned down and placed a kiss on Baron's cheek. "Next time you ever think about pulling a stunt like that brother," said Catie with a deadly serouis tone. "I will have something much worse then death planned for you," said Catie in an erily pleasant voice.
The only words that would come out of Baron's mouth was "The pain it hurts so much,".
Just then a certain cat entered the room after a prolonged cat nap. " So what did I miss?" asked Sam looking at Baron laying down half unconscious and Catie prancing around.
"Hey Sam I going to see what Silver is up to see you later," said Catie back to her usual self.
As Baron began to regain a little of his bearings he noticed his faithful cat staring at him. "Me and you are going to have a talk about what you did to Catie ," said Baron to his loyal cat. "As soon as I can feel anything other then pain me and you are going to have a nice talk," said Baron right before he fainted.

That Power! I haven't felt this sensation in ages. Hmm?... Is someone delicious trying to take my puppets? Alucard looks up just in time to see a freed Elia charge him with a lance made of light. He raises Thunderfury to block the attack while Zappa slowly dissipates with a look of shock. A bolt of lightning drops from the sky a mere meter away from the invisible Jacob. He vanishes into thin air as Elia changes tactics and rolls around him. A stone statue emerges in his place receiving the light blade and rolling off her shield cut in two.
Alucard appears right behind the man wrapping his arms around his chest with the sinister smile and glowing red eyes that have been affixed to him since being set free. "Those beautiful eyes remind me so much of his." The whisper coldly passes by his ear dispelling the illusion. "Won't you use them to see for me?" Alucard once again vanishes with Jacob in tow. They appear in a room which looks as if it hasn't been touched in centuries, yet has no trace of dust. Together they face a mirror, but only Jacob has a reflection. Above the mirror is a picture of someone playing the harp, and behind them an old staff with a set of holy robes adorned by a three jeweled crown. To either side are desk with heavy tomes and they stand in the middle of a magic circle with seven points marked by unlit candles. Alucard silently glides his hand along his chest until he begins to grasp his throat and direct his head towards the portrait. "As a type four you have the ability to break this illusion. I'd do it myself, but this curse would only intensify if I tried to dispel it. Rid the magik cast upon her gaze. Destroy this curse for me, rid the cruel betrayal of my Archbishop once and for all, and you will be set free."

Van Halen begins to stir from his unconscious state. He makes an immense effort to get up and barely avoids a chunk of the roof collapsing on him. He stumbles down the bloodied halls of massacre only being guided by the sounds of screams. As he reaches the hallway where Elia charged Alucard, he trips and falls next to Pearl, once again slipping into unconsciousness.

An easily dodged attack, he must be using it as a distraction. Naoki feels a sudden surge underneath his feet and prepares to dodge just as Jacob tries to get control of his mind. W-what?! Why... so... many voices! He cringes for a moment as he tries to get a grip and release both influences from his being, opening him up to the barrage directly behind him. He gets up after taking the full force with only a slight pain. When he looks at Garcieus again, there is no hostility in his eyes. Instead of countering, he harnesses one of the falling fire balls and blast it through the other resurrected, carving a path to the old castle. With a slight bow, he runs off in the direction of the old castle roasting any zombie in his way. He goes beyond the castle to where the Nymphs are holding their own battle. He sets his sight on one of the Nymphs fighting a fully resurrected Sentinel. The blonde is locked in combat with him clashing lance and shield, with the only real injury being the loss of a lock of her blonde hair. So your promise did have some truth. The Martial arts master leaps high into the air and delivers a lightning fast kick to the distracted sentinel. The Nymph changes target on reflex. When she looks up however, she stops.
"It can't be... I thought you died back at home." Jet wraps one arm around the blonde Nymph's shoulder as she jumps off stone ocean.
"Well I'll be damned Ishi, looks like your old man is one tough son of a ***** after all."

While Arcturus began to attack the General again, he lifted up the sword with a gravity spell and aimed at his back. As Arcturus send the General flying, he sent the sword through his gut. When The General fell again, Rhea showed up with a devastating punch sending him further back. Cream showed up as well and pulled the sword out.
"Try to stay awake." She told Arcturus as she overlapped hands over the wound. "Disreali complex number 1, Restoration gears." Two gears appeared on the other side of the wound patching him up with a soft light. Rhea did not turn to see Arcturus, but she spoke to him. Her voice had a menacing anger as she asked one question: "Where's Pearl?"

"Go ahead and heal him," Vincent says with a sigh, pointing in the direction of the downed vampire, who was out of sight. Someone else would likely have questioned how he could see that far, through walls no less, but Silver only nods. "When you're done, carry him to the guest room and let him sleep it off. When he wakes, tell him to come see me. We have matters to discuss."

"Where am I?" Baron asked waking from the bed. "Your in the guest room son, Silver and Catie carried you here after Catie thrashed you a good 20 minutes," Sam said to Baron. "Baron," said Catie as she liked her head into the room. "I am sorry for going a little overboard like that," Catie said while getting closer to Baron. When Catie was close enough Baron pulled her into a tight embrace and told her how sorry he was. "While I was away it gave me time to think about some things and the person who kept coming to my mind was you Catie," Baron said. " I give you my word I will never do that again," Baron told Catie while the two were just embracing each other.
"Sil Sil said that when you are awake let her know you have to meet with her dad," Catie said as she was starting to pull away. "One more thing Catie before you leave," Barron told Catie before she pulled away completely. As Catie was wondering what Barron could want Barron pulled her closed as the two kissed on the lips for a couple of moments. "I love you Catie," Baron said to the slightly flustered wolf. "I will be right back have to go get Copper, no Steel, what was her name oh Silver," Catie said about as crisimon red as you can get but with a big smile on her face.
"Wow you sure have a way with words son, I taught you well," Sam replied. "Dad it's true being away from her made me realize how much she means to me," Baron said to Sam. "Which brings me to you?" Baron said . "Might as well tell me what you did now or I can have Silver torture you until you tell me?" Baron said as eyes narrowed. "Ever since I got back from the shopping trip with Vincent you have been acting strange," Barron hissed.
"I used Catie to try to get revenge on Silver," Sam said with a hint of remorse. "I thought Silver was trying to intimidate me so I wanted to get revenge," Sam cried out. Baron just got out of his bed and stared into the celling. "So you stood up for yourself and Catie against Silver that's not to bad," Baron said hugging his dad. "Son you are kind of choking me I can't breathe," Sam said gasping for air. "What I am mad at is you tried to use the person I love in your own plot," Baron said while squeezing his dad. "You are lucky the best case senerio worked out and Catie and Silver are friends," Barron said as grip tightened further. "As a way to apologize you are going to help out Silver and Catie with their bow training," Baron said to the wheezing cat. "If I don't agree to it," Sam asked hesitantly. "Well let's just say there will be one less male in our group," Barron told his dad with a devilish grin.
"So how can I help them?" Sam asked with some reserve. "Target Practice," Baron said with a mischievous laughter. "Sam just looked liked he was sentenced to death. " Don't give me that look its only fair you thought you could put Catie's life in your hands, now I am putting your life in Catie's," Baron said while making his way to the door. "Come Mr. Whiskers or should I say Ms. Whiskers," Baron asked while glairing towards Sam. Sam just replied with " Mr. Whiskers," as Catie was skipping toward Baron with Silver following.

As Baron, Catie, and Sam got closer to Vincent's throne room Baron went up to Silver while Sam stayed with Catie. "Silver I need to talk to you for a moment," Barron said towards Silver while Catie and Sam were walking along. "Silver I know what happened between you, Sam, and Catie," Baron told her. "He confessed to using Catie for his own personal agenda, Barron whispered. " In order to make amends you can use him as you see fit in your archery lesson," Barron said. "If a stray arrow finds its way into him well accidents happen," Baron said nonchalantly. "The only thing I ask is don't kill him, serouis injury yes, scare him to death is fine," Baron said. "I know what he did is unforgivable but he is still my dad and despite what he did I still love him,"
Baron said to Silver as the doors leading to Vincent came into view. Catie and Sam go hang out with Silver as I go talk to Vincent, " Baron told his friends. "Good luck Baron," Catie said as her and Baron exchanged a brief kiss. Afterwards a petrified Sam, an extremely happy Catie, and Silver were outside of the doors. "Here goes nothing as Baron entered the room.
"Vincent let me just say I am sorry for scenes I caused since I been here," as Baron addressed Vincent. "What I did to Serlen demostrates a lack of control of my emotions and my strength," Baron said. "Especially, the people I love could have got caught up in the fight and seriously hurt," Baron stated. " I understand that I have a lot to learn about control and I understand if you don't want to give me your knowledge," Barron said. " I behaved like as child and proved how unworthy I was of such knowledge, " Baron said.
After Baron was done apologizing to Vincent he waited for a response before he left.

Silver smiled a bit. "Oh don't worry. I won't kill him."
She decided to take the other two out for some more training.

Vincent smiled slightly, as he leaned back in his throne. "An apology is certainly a step in the right direction. You asked me once how to merge light and darkness. How a being of dual natures copes, how it becomes one. The answer is quite simple; but the process is not. You and I are more alike than you realize, young vampire. Even I have struggled with this in the past. No... I still do to this day. You must look within yourself, and find common ground between the two natures. In order to truly merge, you must have something so important, that both sides are willing to make concessions. In my case, this crucial factor is Silver. It is my daughter who keeps me leashed, so to speak. However... Even with this, retaining this state is truly difficult. It is a constant strain, and even the most powerful of beings is prone to relapses. On those occasions, only the truly enlightened, those with peace of mind can regain control. I regret to inform you, that even I do not posses this level of enlightenment, or the ability to permanently fuse Yin and Yang. I myself can only regain control through sheer force of will. The best I can do is offer you a temporary solution. I can teach you how to merge your two halves, if you posses a common ground. But it is a very risky process, and It all depends on whether you are strong enough to regain control. Are you still certain you wish my help? If you do not posses the strength to regain control, I will be forced to slay you."

"I don't care what you are. I'll get rid of this illusion. But first, you're going to tell me one thing... Where is Elia?!" Jacob said, using telepathy. He didn't move, didn't even blink, just waited for an answer.

After Alucard vanished, Elia looked up at the crumbling ceiling. Suddenly, she looked back at the wall near the hallway she ran through earlier, and saw both Pearl and Van Halen there.
I have to get them out of here before this whole place collapses!
She ran over to Pearl, and started trying to make sure she wasn't injured. "Pearl, are you alright? Can you walk?"

"Yes I am certain," Baron told Vincent in a serouis tone. "I am ready when you are," Baron said to Vincent preparing the trial ahead.
"Good Luck mortal on finding a common ground with me," Van's voice echoed inside Baron's head.

Vincent's smile vanishes, and he rises from his throne, his expression deadly calm. "Very well then. I need to speak with your other half. Silver will act as a conduit for your other half's voice. She will be here momentarily. Sam, Serlen, please leave the room."
Sil, could you come back inside for a few minutes? I need your help.

Silver was just correcting Catie's form when she heard the call. "Catie, Shalla? I need to go back inside for a few. How about you stay out here and continue to practice?"
While the suggestion was polite and friendly, something in Silver's tone implied it was really more of an order, than a suggestion.

Serlen left the room, and steppe outside under a tree.
"I should probably leave, nothing else here to do, and I've wasted enough time playing around." The youth thought.
Shalla walked over. "I assume you're thinking the same thing as me?" She asked.
"If you mean leaving, then yes. I want to explore the rest of this continent, and make my verdict on whether an alliance is good or bad." Serlen answered.
I forgot that you have royal duties." Shalla snorted. "It's not really a burden, you get used to it." Serlen shrugged.

Baron just looked at Vincent with a little confusion.
"So how does this work with Silver is she going to be my vampire or human half?" Baron asked. "Also do me and Silver have to fight or talk?" Baron asked Vincent just as Silver entered the room.

"It's simple," Silver answers for her father. "I have the powers of an Empath and a Telepath. Father will ask your Vampire half something, and any response he gives, I will pick up on. Then I will merely relay what he said to my father, thus allowing us to communicate without you having to shift."
Silver changes into her dragon form, and sits down in front of her father. She looks back at him, waiting. Vincent relaxes back in his throne. "All set then? Good. Now... First question."
What is your name, vampire?
The thought is transfered to Silver, who then sends the question to Baron's other half.
