Special abilities other than a SPec. Like, a lightning dragon charging themselves with electricity is their "breath weapon". What would there SPec be then? Honestly, I like it as a SPec and them having a breath weapon still. It wouldn't be fair even if they got an ability in return.

That could be construed as nerfing though, because they won't have as many attacks. I'd need a really good reason for that, and right now, they don't seem any more OP than any other dragon. And frankly, it wouldn't make any sense. All dragons, regardless of the mythos, have some sort of breath weapon.

All righty then, time for some world building! Or not.
There are three continents in the world of Nautica. The southern continent is a tropical land of lush jungles, harsh deserts, volcanoes, and waterfalls. The temperature is usually very hot, and the climate is very friendly to Fire Dragons, Coal Dragons, and Forest Dragons. There are a few tribal villages scattered throughout the continent, but there are only three sizeable cities, two ports to the north, and a port along the southern edge.
The central continent is a serene land of wide open plains, rolling green hills, rivers, lakes, and forests. There is a large mountain range that snakes along the northeastern edge of the continent. This is the largest of the three continents, and is home to most species of dragons. There are many Kingdoms here, both large and small, and countless villages.
The northern continent is a frigid wasteland, an icy tundra where the Sun always shines and the Moon is always out. The southern half of the continent is always daytime, and the northern half is always nighttime. There are scattered tribes of nomads living here, but there are no sizeable cities. There is a small tribe of Moon Dragons living on the very northern edge of the continent, and a small tribe of Sun Dragons living in the south.
There are three large archipelagos in Nautica. One is in the West Sea, one is in the East Sea, and the other is in the South Sea. The Western Archipelago has a climate similar to the central continent, while the other two have climates similar to the southern continent. Zark the Collector's real estate agency is on the central continent, in the northeastern mountains. It's a large castle only accessible by dragons.
Now, the planet Nautica is a Blue Giant, and roughly the size of Jupiter. So when I say these continents are huge... I mean pretty damn huge. The central continent makes Pangea seem like a supermarket. That's all the lore I'm building though. Everything else is up to you guys!

New Dragons.
The Moon Dragon: A distant cousin of the Sky Dragon, and a dragon that is rumored to come from space. It has beautiful, dark blue scales that change colors under the moon. Whenever a Moon Dragon descends, it creates a breathtaking Aurora Borealis, and is often called the Rainbow Dragon or the Aurora Dragon. While they usually make their home high in the heavens, and are extremely rare, a small tribe of Moon Dragons is known to live in the far north, at the end of the world. The Northern Lights are a phenomena created by that tribe.
They are mostly a docile and benevolent species, and they dislike violence. However, they are guardians of nature, and are known to react violently when nature is threatened, be it by dragon or man. They have an extreme fondness for precious gems and metals, and under the moonlight, a Moon Dragon can find treasures no other dragon can.
Moon Dragons are serpentine in appearance, like most Sky Dragons, and they have very long wings, which resemble angel wings. All Moon Dragons are female.
Best Attributes: Speed and Defense
Worst Attributes: None
Breath Attack: Starlight. A concentrated beam of cosmic energy that is far superior to normal fire.
SPec: Lunar Queen, Passive SPec. When the moon is out, this dragon gains a boost to all combat parameters. Moon Dragons gradually recover 1% of their Health under the moon. This increases by 1% for each Life Stage. However, these abilities are only in effect when the moon is out. If there is significant cloud cover, they do not take effect. Moon Dragons have a 50% chance to find Gems in any Loot Pile or Treasure Chest. Gems can be exchanged for gold, treasure, Home Bases, and discounts by talking to Zark. The greater the 'purity rating' of the Gems, the better rewards you can exchange then for.
You can check the purity rating of your Gems by talking to Zark.
The Sun Dragon: A dragon believed to be the counterpart to the Moon Dragon. The first Sun Dragons are also believed to have come from space, along with their sisters, the Moon Dragons. They too are extremely rare, and the only known tribe of Sun Dragons live on the southern half of the Great Tundra. While the Moon Dragons are believed to be responsible for the eternal night on the northern half of the Tundra, the Sun Dragons are believed to be responsible for the eternal sunlight on the southern half.
Like their sisters and cousins, Sun Dragons are more serpentine in appearance, and streamlined for flight. They have brilliant red and gold scales, in many variations and patterns, and very long whiskers, which allow them to predict and change the weather. Sun Dragons are very proud of their whiskers. The longer a Sun Dragon's whiskers are, the more respect he is shown by other Sun Dragons.
All Sun Dragons are male, and they are the most territorial of all dragons. A Sun Dragon will defend his mate and Home to the death, so take caution if you stumble near Sun Dragon territory, and don't go raiding their bases unless you're prepared for an all out war.
Best Attribute: Strength and Speed Worst Attribute: None
Breath Attack: Solar Flare. A scorching heat wave that melts everything it touches. It is the strongest of all Fire Breath attacks.
SPec: Solar Power, Passive SPec. Sun Dragons gradually recover 1% Health during normal sunlight, and 5% during harsh sunlight. This increases by 1% for each Life Stage. Sun Dragons can freely summon harsh sunlight(Except at night and indoors), which can blind and hinder foes. Water Dragons are weakened during harsh sunlight. Sun Dragons are immune to all weather related abilities from other dragons. They take 50% less damage from fire attacks. During harsh sunlight, the Solar Flare Breath attack deals slightly more damage.
The Lightning Dragon: Another distant cousin of the Sky Dragon, these dragons possess a very potent superiority complex. They live high in the sky, making their homes in roaming thunderstorms. Like all dragons that primarily live in the sky, they are more serpentine in appearance. Their scales are usually emerald green and gold, with varying patterns, and constantly crackling with lightning. Lightning Dragons have very long wings, and they are arguably the most aggressive species of dragon.
Best Attribute: Defense and Speed Worst Attribute: Health
Breath Attack: Lightning Stream. A powerful breath of high voltage electricity! Yowza!
SPec: Storm Scales, Combat SPec. Unfriendly Dragons who come into contact with a Lightning Dragon get zapped, taking minor damage over a period of 10 seconds. This increases by 5 seconds for each Life Stage. Has a 10% chance to paralyze the offending dragon, rendering them unable to move or attack for 10 seconds. This chance increases by 5% for each Life Stage.

Moar new dragons!
The Coal Dragon: A distant relative of the Flame Dragon and Earth Dragon. They like to live deep beneath the ground in giant caverns, or in old mines, or beneath dormant volcanoes. Their bodies seem to be made mostly of rock. When a Coal Dragon breathes fire, the rocks on his/her body turn dangerously hot, and the dragon's white underbelly glows a fierce red. Their soft and plushy belly is their only weak spot. It makes them quite ticklish as well. Coal Dragons are mostly solitary creatures, and they have excellent night vision, which allows them to see in the deep dark bowels of the Earth. They eat coal, rocks, and hardened magma. While Hatchlings start out with very little rocks on their body, as they eat more and more rocks and coal over their Life, their body hardens and condenses, and the dragon's scales reflect that as they age.
Best Attribute: Defense Worst Attribute: Speed
Breath Attack: Dusty Flame. A smoky, noxious flame that can blind opponents as well as burn them. However, it is slightly weaker than the flames of a Fire Dragon.
SPec: Fireplace, Passive SPec. Coal Dragons take 10% less damage from fire attacks. This increases by 10% per Life Stage. Coal Dragons can eat, well... Coal to regain a small portion of their health outside of battle. Coal Dragons have a 100% chance to find 1-5 lumps of coal in any Loot Pile. They can also harvest coal from special mining spots, which are common underground and in Abandoned Mines. These mining spots are called Coal Veins, and they can only be found by Coal Dragons.
