So then! What's next you ask? Now I'm going to tell you about base locations and special abilities! Every dragon needs their own Home Base. It's an absolute must have! Every dragon needs a place to rest their weary head after a long day of raiding farms and villages! Once you have a Home Base, you can store all your gold and treasure and sheep and captured maidens in it. And if you ever find a base that you like better, or if you find yourself a nice dragon mate and want to move in with them, then you can always sell your current base for a tidy profit! That's right lads! Just hit up the good ol Dragon Real Estate, run by Zark the Collector, and he'll pay you for your old base with gold and treasure! And the better the base, the more ol Zark will pay for it! Isn't that just the best?!

Now, bases are ranked E, D, C, B, A, and S, with S being the greatest. A base's rank is determined by four main categories: The Location, Accessibility, Secrecy, and Sight, or simply how it looks. Is the base in the far northern Tundra? Is it nearby a powerful Kingdom with pesky Archers? Is there a dragon Sun Roof that makes entering your base a breeze? Is your base so secret that even Zark the Collector hasn't heard of it or know where it is? Is your base an old dump? Maybe a beautiful place with rainbows and waterfalls? Or a dark and scary castle atop a foreboding mountain?

Determining the rank of your Home Base can be tricky... So you should probably leave it to Zark. You can even buy bases from Zark if finding your own doesn't appeal to you! But remember, you have to have a Home Base to store Treasure, Maidens, and Sheep! Settling in any random forest just won't do! And don't worry about forgetting the four main categories of base judging! All you have to remember is your base is a beautiful LASS! Right!?

Guess what time it is now, my adorable little Hatchlings? It's time for your favorite Guidebook to explain Special Abilities! Special Abilities, or SPecs for short, are abilities native only to certain dragons. They're what each dragon excels at! For example, a Collector Dragon has a 50% better chance to find awesome treasure in Treasure Chests and Loot Piles!!! Isn't that just incredible?!

There are two types of SPecs: Combat and Passive. Combat SPecs are abilities that grant boosts or only activate during combat. Passive SPecs are abilities that are always active, no matter where you are. Here is a list, my young grasshopper eating padawans. If you have any questions, please, I implore you, do not hesitate to ask.

Earth Dragon: Gaia's Aegis, Combat SPec. You take half damage from all attacks while rooted firmly on the ground, but take double damage while flying.

Fire Dragon: Flame Guzzler, Passive SPec. You can eat certain sources of fire to regain a small portion of health. Edible fires are marked with a blue tint, but only if you're a Fire Dragon.

Water Dragon: Underwater Dancing, Passive SPec. You can breathe underwater indefinitely, you swim faster while underwater, and you have a 20% better chance to find Awesome Treasure in underwater Chests and Loot Piles.

Sky Dragon: Emperor's Majesty, Passive SPec. You can breathe easily even in the upper atmosphere, and you can breathe in Space for a short time(1 minute for Hatchlings. Increases by 5 min for each Advancement). People are awed by your appearance for a short time, and will not move or attack. Very useful for capturing Princesses(1 min for Hatchlings, increases by 1 min for each Advancement).

Elemental Dragon: Elemental Fury, Combat SPec. For up to 5 minutes(Time allowed increases by 30 seconds for each Advancement), you can call upon the natural fury of both water and fire. All of your combat abilities increase, and you gain complete control over both elements, rendering you invulnerable to water and flame.

Dim Sum Dragon: Vunderchef, Passive SPec. You can eat your Meat Bun to replenish all your health. You can make meat buns from Sheep to replenish your stock. Sheep will not run away from you and you can catch 100% more sheep per raid. You have double the chance to find special food from Treasure Chests, and you are worshipped by Chefs all around the world. Human Chefs will not attack or run away from you, and they will actively help you.

Hydra: Invincibility, Combat SPec. You are insanely hard to defeat in battle. You do more damage than most dragons, and take less. Whenever you take a certain amount of damage(In intervals of 20%), you can choose to lose one of your heads and regrow a new one, restoring your Health by 10% and granting you a temporary damage boost to breath attacks. If you have less than 10% HP remaining, you will automatically regrow 2 heads per Life Stage and regain 10% Health per Life Stage, up to 16 heads total and 80% Health recovery. All of your combat abilities double for 1 minute per Life Stage, up to 8 minutes total.

Collector Dragon: Nose of Midas, Passive SPec. You have a 50% better chance to find Awesome Treasure in Chests and Loot piles(Increases by 2% per Life Stage). You get a 10% discount or 10% better price when buying or selling Real Estate(Increases by 5% per Life Stage). Human Merchants will not attack you or run away. Some Kings may be willing to give you their daughters and sons in exchange for a share of your Treasure. Some Kings may also be willing to give you a share of their Royal Treasury, in exchange for leaving their Kingdom alone.

Forest Dragon: Ninjutsu, Combat SPec. You can turn invisible for a short amount of time(1 min for Hatchlings, increases by 1 minute for each Advancement). You use illusions to play havoc with your foes, making them see double of you(Conjures 1 Doppelganger per Life Stage).

All right, now for some additional info. You can make your own custom dragon, just don't make it too broken. You need the dragon itself, some lore about it, and what SPec it has. You can post custom dragon requests here, unless you're seriously paranoid, then you can PM me. There are only two main continents, but the continents are huge and there are many Kingdoms.There are several archipelagos in the Southern and Western Seas. I will go into more detail about the world tomorrow.

You can only keep 1 Princess/Prince in your Home Base at a time, and up to 5 Maidens/Lads. If you choose to keep the Princess of a country, the King will console his loss with his wife/consort or a random Tavern wench(Depending on the King) and another Princess/Prince will spawn in a set amount of time. Don't worry about waiting years though, it doesn't take that long. Why?

*Shrugs* Magic shenanigans. Just keep checking back and wait for them to spawn. There are two kinds of loot: Normal Treasure and Awesome Treasure. Awesome Treasure is, well... Awesome. It can be anything from vast amounts of gold, to magic items, etc. Anything with magic or special abilities counts as Awesome Treasure. Treasure is found within Treasure Chests and Loot Piles, in forgotten dungeons and dangerous castles and deep ocean trenches and more. But those are the only rules! You can find any Treasure you want! You want Excalibur?! Sure, go ahead! You want some nifty armor for your dragon? Be my guest! Be creative! Be awesome! Be NEO!!!

But if it's something that changes combat abilities or other RP mechanics, make sure you PM me first. Ex- you can't have an item that grants you God Mode or makes all Real Estate free.

Yup. I was gonna get into that after detailing the Kingdoms and such. Btw, would you guys like to make your own Kingdoms, or have me do it? Do you want more freedom or set lore?

I have to focus on other stuff right now, but then I'll explain the map a little bit more, explain dragon starting locations, etc.

What is this about?

My dragon would be a Shenlong. They're effectively weather gods. The populace respects and worships them for bringing the rains for crops. I've got this idea kicking around for a hatchling that has to assume the mantle.

Of course, with a meta twist.

You must defeat Shenlong to stand a chance!

Sure, it sounds cool.

Digi, yes there will be other animals besides sheep. I just haven't gotten around to listing them yet. However, only sheep can restore your Health, and you can only hoard sheep. You can keep a pet tiger if you want, but you are only allowed a large number of sheep, no other animal.

HD, dragons are not worshipped in this.

But we CAN kidnap a princess, right? It's not classic without that.

Digi, this isn't fairy tail, and I'm pretty sure these dragons don't speak English.

Because nobody likes worshipping things that will burninate your villages.
