"Yes. But first, allow me to introduce myself in kind. There is no honor in a nameless duel."
His eyes opened, and they were an eery swirling silver, brimming with ancient knowledge and power. He rose to his full height, nearly seven feet, and the golden aura around him dissipated. "I am Azrael, the Lord of Death. I am the son of time, grandson of chaos, and great-grandson of creation. I have lived for thousands of years. I have witnessed events that you cannot even begin to comprehend. I am known as the Eternal Conquerer, the Divine Strategist, and the Sword Saint. I have never before known defeat. The blades I carry with me are sacred. They have been blessed by the Creator of All Things."
He slowly unsheathed his first sword, and as he did so, a ripple of tangible power swept across the plains. "The Sword of Kings, also known as the true Excalibur. It has not been unsheathed in a thousand years."
And then, his second. "And Ragnell, the sword capable of slaying anything. Neither blade can be broken, and they respond only to my will. In me, boy, you do not face another Ephesian pup. You face a living, breathing immortal, willing to do whatever it takes to return to his home. Now come, little man. Allow me to show you what it means to challenge a god."

Barker unfolds the sniper rifle's bipod. "Some models include a bipod to increase accuracy during stationary shooting. After the clip's in, but before you take off the safety, set it up like this. Find something to prop it on, look through the scope... And, fire." He squeezes off a few rounds into a dummy, punching several gaping holes in its chest. "Unless you've got a good reason to aim somewhere else - need to disable someone or fightin' something that's not quite human - aim for the center of mass. Bullets this big and fast'll bring just about any normal man down with a solid torso hit." He steps back and offers the trigger to Catie. "Want to give it a try? What about you, Irving? Want to give the minigun a spin? ...June, just... keep playing with your bow or some grenades or something."
Alice clutches at her backside. "T-t-t-tail!? No-no-no-no, Geraldine would kill me! Just... Just change me back to normal. Please!" Horatio spends a few hours poking around the town, gathering more information about the state of things - the queen, other countries, rumors about the latest movements of the military, rumors about the Outlanders... Enough hearsay that he manages to start putting the pieces together, though plenty still needs confirmation. And the best place for that's the castle. If the queen's trying to gather all the scattered Outlanders - according to rumors, anyway - then they probably aren't going to attack on sight or anything. But what to do... Find a patrol of soldiers? March up to the front door? ...Teleport into the throne room?

(Sorry posting on my cell phone so have to split up my posts)
Catie was very eager to give this interesting sniper thing a try. The first thing she did was try to pick it up to get a feel for the weight. "Oaff definitely wouldn't be able to carry this around, for to long," Catie said.
"Hmm but let's try to fire a couple of shoots," Catie said lying up the shoot and firing at a dummy. Unfortunately, Catie wasn't quite use to the recoil and it made her shoots a little eradicate. Some of the shots hit the dummy in the center, one of the bullets hit them in the throat, another hit them in the eye, some were missing an arm, leg, or hand.
"Umm Mr. Sgt Barker is there anything you can show me to help with this constant banging against my shoulder?" Catie pleaded while using her secret weapon ultimate, super, Neo level puppy dog eyes with the chlortles

"Are you sure?" Starlow asked Alice.
"Hmm i might want to try that Tanooki leaf later, but yeah I think for now Alice had enough fun with one of Mario's items for one day," Lana said to Starlow.
"Okia Doakie," Mario said.
"Okay well this shouldn't take to long," Starlow said. A flicker of light flowed from Alice to Starlow the light representing Alice's wish to return to normal. Starlow then captured the flicker of light and with that fired a beam of light towards Alice. As soon as the beam hit Alice it seemed to turn the uniform back to it's original uniform.
"Well that was an easy wish, so even a young star spirt like me can grant you that wish," Starlow said. "If you want i can tell you all about what us Star Spirits are capable of," Starlow said with a wink.
"Anyways princess, Alice is there anything we can help you with?" Starlow asked.
"Princess where, I swear if there's an imposter going around trying to take my princess they will be in for such a beat down," Bowser mumbled in his sleep

Fawful, the Pokemon, and Dimento were just chilling in this strange island waiting for whoever summoned them. A few moments later a loud screech and a flash of light caught everybody's attention. "Hmm looks like our host is finally making his appearance," Dimento said. Pixy and Fen Fen ( ) had a look of concern while Chlortles just kinda of just stared into the distance. "Well now it looks like our host has arrived," Dimento said as a giant shadow began making there way towards the group

Maurice watched the Gopher scamper off towards the screaming robot, but then his attention was turned towards a giant head growing over the horizon. Other body parts soon followed, and Maurice had to admit he was out of his depth. His suit glowed as he reluctantly unmuted Giratina.
"Serpent, tell me what you make of that."
Giratina's eyes hovered over Maurice's shoulder. It was watching everything the whole time of course, but a visual indication helps get the idea cross much more smoothly.
"A trailer, don't you think?"
"I demanded an answer not a riddle." Maurice said.
"Upon first entering this world you have been brought an organism that doesn't exist, technology that cannot be made, and now a sight more ridiculous than you could imagine. You are being attuned to the way things are here. A cog being oiled."
Maurice simmered. "As pretentious as ever. So you're saying that these things are normal here?"
"Smarten up. We were brought here. I have already realized why, but you so arrogantly resist. I have no patience f-"
Muted again.
Looking between the screaming robot and the approaching giant, Maurice figured the latter would be more capable of intelligent communication. On top of that, Giratina's powers seemed to flow amazingly unrestrained in the universe. It was worth putting some more of the hypothetical functionalities to the test. Tunneling between dimensional boundaries (some of which were already weakened by the giant, interestingly), Maurice opened up a tailored rift. It wasn't actually a giant negative-space dragon vaguely looking like Origin Giratina, just a big three dimensional hole in reality shaped like one. It didn't exist, more the opposite, but it had the same function of something existing.
"Greetings," the dragon said, "I hope my appearance is appropriate. Do you speak Human?"

"Giratina what's he doing Pika?" Pixy said to Fen Fen.
"Yeah its serouisly creepy here, are you sure we can trust this Fawful?" Fen Fen said to Pixy. "Sure the Fawful we were traveling with was crazy as hell, but at least there was some good in him," Fen Fen told Pixy. "You think he would ever bring us to this hell hole," Fen Fen said to Pixy.
"Enough Fen Fen," Pixy said. "You remember how we were involved with that great war in Hyjule, how we went to all those different worlds when we knew nothing," Pixy said.
"That was completely different our Fawful despite all the Fury and Chlortles, deep down inside he was a kind hearted and thoughtful," Fen Fen said to Pixy. "I sense none of those qualities in this Fawful just Fury, Chlortles, and Evil," Fen Fen said.
"Okay Fen Fen since you know so much, tell us who should we trust and where we should go?" Pixy said to Fen Fen. "Don't tell me Wario remember he is dead, he burned himself to death," Pixy snapped. Fen Fen could feel the tears starting to form, and she just growled towards Pixy. "Fen Fen I didn't mean....," Pixy said but Fen Fen just put up her paw.
"Pixy we will finish this after this little gathering but for now, just keep close to Fawful," Fen Fen said. "Chlortles with Giratini around its best if you hide in Fawful's shadow," Fen Fen told Chlortles. Chlortles let out a Gennnnngggggaaaarrrr and then melted into Fawful's shadow. "Pixy I just hope you know what you are doing," Fen Fen told Pixy.
"Me and you both," Pixy sighed hoping onto Fawfuls shoulder.

Unable to ignore the happenings outside of the tree that she sensed were escalating, Elia stopped for a moment to consider her possible courses of action. Eventually she settled on one and, recalling her training on how to use the technique, prepared herself for shadow travelling. The mark of her arm glowed bright gold for a moment, then the light for it turned pitch black. She quickly reached her destination, where she sat out of sight on a branch high up in a regular tree and watched to see what would happen, ready to take action if she needed to.

The Legionaires each pressed a button on their respective rods in unison. The machines hummed on activation, and the side facing the two combatants shone to reveal a series of multi-colored panels. Beams of light shot out from these panels, and connected the rods to the two adjacent machines. Once all the rods were connected with each other, the small beams widened vertically, creating a wall of light that reached out to the skies above that separated the combatants from the rest of the world. Only sight and sound would pass through the barrier, so long as the pylons remained undisturbed. Furthermore, the multicolored panels on the pylons facing the combatants served as an additional barrier for the contraption, rendering any strikes against it from the inside of the makeshift arena ineffective, no matter the force. As of right now, only the spectators standing outside of the combat zone could temper with the barrier; whether by striking the blindspot behind the machines, or simply deactivating them.
Alexus uprooted his blade from the Earth. "Very well, Azrael. You claim to be a god?"
Alexus grasped the hilt of his blade with both his hands. A dark, terrible energy filled up his blade, quaking the Earth itself.
"Then let this by the day I TOPPLE THE GODS THEMSELVES!"
In a display of terrifying speed and power, Alexus cleaved his blade horizontally in front of him. The grass rustled as a large shockwave projectile of energy shot out at his opponent at rapidly increasing speeds, aimed at his midsection.

Barker shrugs. "Eh. When you're shooting a bullet that big that far that fast you're going to have a lot of recoil. Bracing it with the stand's about the only way you reduce it."

St. Elne -- Queendom of Yuleia -- On top of the Capital's Defensive Walls
"You know, it's been oddly quiet around here," said a guard. "Where's General Skaar been?"
The buddy he was talking to leaned against a ballista as they held half-finished cups of coffee. They made a habit out of enjoying the view from atop the walls while on break, as they were doing now.
"You haven't heard?" said the second guard. "He's been knocked out ever since the attack two days ago."
"What? They actually knocked out the general?" asked the first guard.
"Oh man, it was a mess!" exclaimed the second guard. "There were a bunch of Flying Monkeys and s*** that got up on the wall, right? Well Skaar was here, and he helped the men fight them, right? So he was holding his own for the most part, until a pair of those Winkie things showed up and armed them with better stuff! But the general kept on fighting and charges in, right? Well, somehow, he busted up one of the Winkies and was about to finish off the other one when it just rammed him right off the wall!"
"Wh-- He fell down the wall?!" exclaimed the first guard in disbelief. His eyes peered over the wall. It was a long way down.
"That's right, he fell!" repeated the second guard for dramatic effect. "So he lands and everything, which isn't really that bad since, you know, he's built like a train, punches rocks as warm-up, and falls down harder using some of his attacks and all that jazz, right? So anyway, he's all banged up and stuff, but apparently it looked like he could still stand. Well, the Winkie that rammed him off also fell off, and landed right on top of him."
"Yeah. Those things do look like they'd be pretty heavy," commented the first soldier.
"I'm not done yet!" said the second soldier. "Because the thing's core was damaged or something, so it blew up while on top of the general!"
"Well... Holy s***," said the first guard. "How is he now?"
"Knocked out, but recovering", said the second guard. "I'm surprise he didn't die, frankly."
"Considering how Skaar usually is, I believe it," said the first guard. "...Makes the rest of us look lacking in comparison, though."
"Here, here."
The two soldiers finished their coffee before turning to get back to patrol.
Location: Within a Town Somewhere within Ephesian Territory
"Don't you think you're being a little too klepto?" Hugh asked Emma.
As discussed, the two of them packed up the essential supplies from the cave they were squatting in, packed them into duffle bags, wore robes to conceal their suits and armor, and set out to the nearest town on the path to the tree with the currently-out-of-sight dragon perched on it. This town had a checkpoint that screened everyone going in and out of the town, however, and it was only because Emma showed them a card of some sort from her bag of pickpocketed goods that they were allowed to pass without having to answer the question of where they obtained their weapons and Hugh's armor. Apparently, she yoinked it out of someone's pocket on a whim because it looked important.
"It's a whole 'nother world out here, Hugh," said Emma, having deepened her voice and added a slight accent to quote a movie she once saw. She reverted to speaking normally, next. "All we came here with are weapons, some Pokemon, and the clothes off our backs. We should gather stuff we at least think can be useful here if we want to survive and find a way back home."
...I guess she of all people would know what to do when you're stuck with nothing.
"...Fine, but be moderate about it. Assuming you don't get us into trouble, you're still potentially ruining someone else with your thievery."
"...Okay," Emma said. "I understand."
The two of them walked side-by-side as they wandered through the modestly populated town.
"I noticed something with those guards, though," said Hugh.
"Besides the medieval armor?" replied Emma.
"They didn't seem to care about the fact that we carried weapons," said Hugh, "more-so where we acquired them, which makes sense considering the technology level."
"Could be that it's dangerous outside of civilization," said Emma. "Like what would happen if our world's Pokemon were openly hostile, instead of being friendly or fine with just minding their own business. Pokemon like Hydreigon were the exception, not the rule."
"Well the people here might end up arming themselves even further still, now that Kyurem's lurking about somewhere," mused Hugh. "You brought up a good point, though: we still know next to nothing about this world. We should be gathering information. Maybe see if the newspaper is invented in the world yet."
"Or hang around bars or cafes and listen to gossip."
Hugh nodded. "Okay, let's keep exploring the town and see what we can find."
"Right."

"You cannot defeat me with brute strength, boy."
A split second before the shockwave reached him, a dark, fiery aura burst into existence around him, and to the untrained eye, he seemingly vanished and reappeared to the side, as the shockwave exploded behind him. He seemingly vanished again, reappeared, vanished, and then reappeared almost directly in front of his opponent, crouched slightly, a small orb of dark energy forming between the tips of his two blades. In reality, he wasn't vanishing at all. He was simply moving so quickly that the human eye couldn't follow, leaving afterimages in his wake.
The orb of energy suddenly quadrupled in size, and a giant beam of crackling black fire shot forth from nearly point blank range.
------
The massive shadow-giant fizzled and crackled, like static, then faded into nothingness, leaving only the form of a short, middle aged man with wiry white hair in place of it. In complete defiance of his outward appearance, he then levitated off the ground and shot upwards into the air, until he was eye level with the dimensional anomaly. He then sat down on mid air as if it were solid, folding his legs beneath him, casually defying all sense of natural law.
The Witch of Time flew up beside her master, grinning widely. "It seems we aren't the only ones who can bend the laws of the Multiverse, Master. How wonderful."
A glint of dangerous curiosity sparks in Jeckel's eyes as he answers the anomaly. "Indeed we do, curious thing. You may call me Doctor Jeckel."
Legretta floats around the anomaly, studying it. "Hmm... It's a rather crude avatar. I was hoping for someone to call my equal, but the power behind this lacks... Creativity. You may address me as Legretta. I hold sway over space and time, while my master holds dominion over all things."
Her eyes then snap to the others in the distance- an odd group of what appeared to be animals, and two others who seemed at least partially humanoid. "You there, do come out and say hello."

"Indeed, the tree could very well prove too much for me, especially in my weakened state," Vincent answers, taking one last sip of his tea. "That is why it was only a thought. However, it still brings up a curious issue, one I would like to quickly address, before I return to my quarters. This... Witch. From what you have told me, and from what I myself have gathered, it is a singularly powerful entity in this world and is extremely protective of the natural order. Yet from the Ephesians' actions, they do not appear to give it much regard, or fear it at all. The same can be said for the dragon nesting on the tree, as it has boldly laid claim to Yggdrasil. But the Witch hasn't yet struck at either, has it? If the Witch had attacked Ephesus with the same level of force it attacked Yuelia with, would not your scouts at least have reported a disturbance in their borders? And if they were recovering from such an attack, why would they risk sending such a significant portion of their standing army on a direct incursion into Yuelia at all? Something feels... Wrong here, but I lack the knowledge of this world to place my feeling."

Alexus grunted as his eyes followed his opponent as they avoided the shockwave and began leaving afterimages in their movements. He brought his blade backward to begin to charge at his opponent when they darted directly in front of him, conjuring energy between the tips of their swords. Alexus's left hand left his blade as he swung and backhanded his enemy's blades away from him as the orb grew in size, redirecting their attack to the side. The pylons creating the barriers separating the battleground shook as they nullified the black fire that struck them. As the space between him and his opponent was too small to cleave them with his weapon, Alexus instead reeled his head back before bringing it back downward to his opponent.
Glinda pursed her lips in thought.
"If I were to hazard a guess," she said, "I would say The Witch is currently gathering her power to expel the dragon from the tree. If Mason was not bluffing, the dragon possesses great power; more than we have currently demonstrated. The Witch would not need to prepare to crush those it perceives as insects, but may require preparation for stronger forces; possibly one she may see as a genuine threat. However, we have nothing more than theories. The Witch, as well as a fair number of other abominations, is a great mystery, and we do not fully understand its reasons for its methods. Furthermore, we are currently struggling with obtaining intelligence from Ephesian activity past the Yuleian-Ephesian border and contested territories. We are able to obtain military intelligence, but we possess far less information regarding their domestic status.
...What I find the most puzzling of all this, however, is how the Ephesians managed to summon an Outlander while simultaneously avoiding an attack from The Witch. I doubt their Outlander came from our ritual; their attempted attack yesterday must have been planned for some time now, and they would not have been able to plan to take advantage of the circumstances behind our summoning ritual. Did they perform their own ritual that was somehow more refined than our methods? Is there another force at force that deflects The Witch's aggression?"

"Well now it looks like our host has requested our presence," Dinento commented. "Fawful my good friend need a lift," Dimento asked. Fawful looked like he was going to answer when Pixy slapped him with her tail in an effort to get his attention.
"Looks like the pika of chu needs something don't worry I will meet you up there soon," Fawful said to Dimento.
"Well whatever i guess i can make my acquaintance with our hunble guest, Ciao," Dimento said as he vanished from Fawfuls side. "So he said he could bend the multi verse hmm interesting i wouldn't expect anything less from him but i wonder," Dimento said. "If he is truly the Jeckle I know of then he could easily tell what i am doing," Dimento. What looked like teleporting to the untrained eye was actually just Dimento casually strolling through his own personal pocket dimension. Dimento used this pocket dimension he created to walk over towards Jeckle and Legretta to aviod catching the attention of the others present but to make his presence known to Jeckle and Dimento. "I made it obvious enough for even the most novice of dimensional travelers to spot," Dimento said to hinself.
Dimento then appeared in front of Jeckle and Legretta. "Why hello my gracious host, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Dimento pleaser of crowds and master of dimensions," Dimento said with an exaggerated bow. "How lovely too meet a pair of dimensional travelers with there pet dragon," Dimento said to the three present. "Hmm well now will you honor me with your name, Ms. and the name of your Grandfather?" Dimento asked.

When Fawful turned around it looked like Pixy, Fen Fen, and Chlortles were wearing what looked like Blue Tooth devices. "The most curious if devices, obviously your not just a normal Pika of Chu," Fawful said with much interest. "I got it," Fawful said as he started his hypnosis device. "You will obey my every comnand and bzzt," Fawful was saying until Pixy use Thunderbolt on him. "We been through this Pika," Pixy said in a high pitch, squeaky voice," Pixy said to Faeful. "I can," Fawful was going to say when Pixy cut him off. "Looks like the device are working, Piiiikkkaaaa," Pixy said in a very delighted voice. "These are a little project i were Pika on, they are Pika Pokemon Tranlators," Pixy said pointing towards the device. "This way we can Pika but without the constant strain on Fen Fen," Pixy said. "Yet i have to tell you Fawful those two i dont Pika one bit," Pixy said in a more serious tone. "I just have a bad Pika about them, maybe we should try to find someone more trustworthy," Pixy pleaded with Fawful. While Pixy was talking with Fawful, Fen Fen ( ) decided to try and get ab early read on both of the mysterious strangers Dimento was taking to. Fen Fen closed her eyes to focus her Physic powers to get a read on those two. Yet mere seconds after making contact with there auras Fen Fen immediately recoiled in fear. "Pixxyyy those two we have to avoid them at all cosstttt," Fen Fen said in a more lower pitch (almost as if a fox was trying to talk) voice. "There dangerous beyond belief," Fen Fen warned Fawful and Pixy. "I thought both Fawfuls were nuts and crazy, these two make Fawful look normal," Fen Fen said in fear. The usually chill Chlortles even seemed to pick up om Jeckles and Legrettas vibes and was unsure around them. "Yeah Fawful my brother I am a ghost type and they even send shivers down my Ggggeeeeennnngggaaarrrrr," Chlortles said. "Of course I'll follow wherever but please think about it," Chlortles pleaded. "Guys relax surely a guy with such unadulterated fury will make an ally of worthy," Fawful said. "Now then lets go meet the hosts with the most, with the haste," Fawful said as he put on his flying helmet. "Lalio lalio the dragon of chlortles rises," Fawful began singing while making his way to Dimento. "Pixy," Fen Fen said looking at Pixy. "I know but what choice do we have Fen Fen, at least we can keep an eye on him," Pixy said. "Besides if we get a chance i hbe everything recorded if worst comes to Pika we can show the proper Pikas," Pixy said. "Very well, but the first sign of trouble i am wiping out Faefuls mind and he will be nothing more then a mere green bean, well drooling green bean," Fen Fen warned Pixy. "Now then lets catch up to him," Fen Fen said as a blue light enveloped her, Pixy and Chlortles. Fen Fen was then able to bring them to Fawful who was at the side of Dimento. Location Dining Hall Dood.... "Mario you sure there is nothing else you left out," Starlow asked Mario. Mario replied to shaking his head really fast no. "Well Alice if you end up back in our room avoid any Mushrooms you see," Starlow said. "If you see any Mushrooms that look like this, they will make you grow ib size," Starlow said handing Alice a picture of a Super and Mega Shroom. "While if you see any Mushrooms that look like this you will shrink to about a tenth of your size," Starlow said handing Alice a picture of a Poison Shroom. "Again sorry for causing you so much trouble," Starlow said very apologetically

Ethan stumbles back, and for just a split second, barely even perceptible to the human eye, he's caught off guard. He recovers almost instantaneously, and cracks his neck, his mouth twisting into a wide grin.
"Heh. It's been a long time since I've had a worthy opponent. Well then, boy! Let's see how long you can keep me amused!"
In a single, lightning fast motion he sheathes Ragnell and brings his knee up to his chest, then slams his foot down with titanic power, sending a large shockwave outwards in all directions. The ground split and cracked, and red lines of bubbling fire shot along the ground, followed by rays of golden energy pouring forth from the cracks, causing the around them to upheave, sink, and explode simultaneously. He then leaped from the tip of one of the platforms he created and jumped high into the air, a ball of golden orange fire forming in his free hand.
"Let's see just how much punishment you and your forcefield can take!"
The ball of fire tripled then quadrupled in size, until it was over half the size of battlefield itself. The fire swallowed him completely, until he was nothing more than a dark, terrifying shadow flickering within a giant sphere of flame. His swirling silver eyes flashed a deep, ominous gold.
"I'm immortal, boy! Are you?!"
In the span of a second, the sphere of energy abruptly began to shrink and condense, until it fit perfectly in his palm, and Ethan launched the sphere of energy from his hand like a bullet, sending it spiraling down towards his opponent.

Joshua experienced good and bad regarding the research into his cards. The good was that someone on staff was generous enough to lend Bowser Jr. a handheld video game console with some small games on it so he wouldn't get bored. The bad is that almost a full day of testing and listening to step-by-step descriptions of their plans yielded very little in terms of results. The cards can seemingly absorb a hell of a lot of energy, but that's about it. Nothing could've been extracted from them, their composition was entirely unknown, and Joshua vehemently refused to let them try to rip one in half to see what would've happened.
"Any other bright ideas?" grumbled Joshua as he slouched on a desk.
"We... have some additional tests we could potentially run," replied Burringham, looking similarly drained of energy. "We're going to put that off until tomorrow."
"Joy," Joshua dryly stated. He checked to make sure he carried all of his cards with him before putting them away. "...That other guy mentioned Celeste was doing something with his own cards?"
"I believe so," replied Burringham. "Didn't seem to want to help us out, though."
"Alright," said Joshua. "I'm going to see if he's found anything. See you tomorrow, then."
Joshua shook his hand before approaching Bowser Junior sitting at a bench near the entrance.
"We're finally getting out of here, Junior," said Joshua. "Remember to return the games you borrowed to the nice man at the front desk."
I'm not going to find anything else light enough to strap to my hip or somethin', aren't I? Irving thought to himself as he watched Catie complaining about the recoil to her gun.
...Wait...
Irving looked down at what he was wearing. Leather armor with piece-of-crap pieces of metal scrapped from some dump or another tied to a few places here and there for makeshift protection. They weren't in mint condition either; the armor was clearly stitched up in a lot of places, the pieces of metal armor he had were dirty and scratched, and he was sure the piece of armor on his upper back still had a large crack going down the middle. He could barely protect himself against knives, and this is a battlefield where guns are in plentiful supply?
Irving walked up to Barker. "Hey, weapons are fine 'n' all, but have ya got any armor I can use? Nothin' too heavy?"
Alexus stabbed his blade into the Earth as the terrain exploded, leaving him stranded in a relatively small platform hurled into the sky. Alexus stood back up straight as soon as he was able and observed his new surroundings. He looked over to the pylons creating the barrier. He saw cracked Earth run from within the barrier past the pylons, but the devices remained upright for the time being. His legionaires moved closer to the devices, prepared to stabilize them if necessary.
"Fool. Does he wish to summon The Witch, or is he merely ignorant? No matter."
"I'm immortal, boy! Are you?!"
