It would actually be interesting if the Nobodies were the good guys in all this. I mean, with no keyblade masters, those that get keyblades would likely die quickly, and maybe some of them became Nobodies who still want to be good even though they don't have hearts anymore.
That's all fine...but I'm wondering where all their knowledge about Nobodies would come from. I mean, we just found out recently that Nobodies can grow hearts, and this world has no Xehanort, Eraqus or Yen Sid so there's no exposition...How would they know that they have to kill their heartless and then themselves in order to become whole again?
And yeah, a name that isn't a blatant Org XIII rip off would be nice.

Yes, I like that. Dunno, but this's AU so we could cheat it a little, I think. Not sure that knowledge is necessary though. Hell, maybe figuring out how would be part of the journey, though we'd need to make sure people aren't stupid about having their Nobodies go straight after their Heartless or killing themselves. And yes, again.

Those weren't my names, they were Fen-Fen's.

What if the leader of said guild knew because he was a Nobody beforehand who joined with his Heartless (at least that's his cover story)? What if there were old archives on the Heartless and Nobodies?

We should probably wait to come up with names until we know more about the group, like the number of starting members and all that. If they all turned out to be fire-focused, for example, it would make sense to name them something fiery.

I already have my character mostly planned out, and he's not fiery. I'm going to be helping GX with her's too (I'm not sure if she's planning on being part of the group though).

I plan on being a good guy. And a 'normal' keyboard weilder w/ the ability to use it as a sword or a keyblade in one hand and a dream blade in another hand.

Sora slicing buildings in two with a blunt object at the final boss rush in KHII means that Keyblades can be... blades when they want to slice things.

I'm not going to be the leader.
Hold on, will all the worlds have been connected beforehand, or did they become connected after the initial Heartless attack?

Okay then just dual weilding key blades then. HHD was the one who suggested the Dream Blade.

I don't think you can dual-wield Keyblades without having two hearts. Not IIRC.

I suggested one normal sword and one keyblade dual wield. You cant dual-weild keyblades unless you have two hearts (my character uses 7 pieces of one broken keyblade...yah) The normal sword is vastly inferior though...
The walls between worlds have weakened due to the heartless attacks. Travelling to them needs gummi ships, doors of darkness, keyblade armour, etc.

Okay. So, each world was separate, so it keeps that world's canon.
Good. I'll govern XIII.

Kinda canon. It can be twisted to integrate KH better. Like how Disney was.
I keep using "JENOVA is a heartless" as an example, but that's the general feel I think. The warring triad gives Kefka unlimited power over darkness. Kuja's final attack is on the heart of his world(s). Stuff like that.

I suppose the Keyblade/reg-sword combo could work as a unique style. The Keyblade is fairly indestructible, so it could make for an excellent defensive tool, while the regular sword would be used for opportunity attacks. Think of it like the fighting style Ikkaku Madarame used against Edorad, the first Arrancar he fought.

Okay I do like the idea that Doug and HHD come up with. Like a normal iron sword or something?
I did want to go with a mixture of swords and magic. So would it be better to take up the sword and give up the sheild or take up the staff and give up the shield.
I was going to go with an expert keyblade / sword user and average to above average magic user. Does that sound like something that could work.

I dunno what to give up for that style if you're adding in magic. Probably give up the sword, and make the magic one of your main attacks. Defense would definitely be the focus of the style, but you should either not use magic or heavily use magic. Heavily using magic makes the sword kinda pointless IMO though.

I was thinking of just using magic as a back up. Maybe just take up sword and give up the shield
So what does sephy bring a once powerful hero who became a no body and now search's the world for strong opponents hoping to regain the heart he lost
