The setting will not include Kingdom Hearts or Disney characters, but will use all the concepts present in the KH games and maybe some elements of the setting (Traverse Town, Twilight Town, Destiny Island, and Hollow Bastion for instance). The other worlds will all be from Final Fantasy or closely related games (Chrono Trigger and TWEWY off the top of my head). Worlds with owners GX: FFI Doug: FFIII Cheese: FFVI Neo: FFVII X: FFX Golurk: FFXIII Fenris: FFT/FFXII Empire: SoMII Princesses of the Heart: Princess Serah (FF) Elia (FFIII) Alma (FFT) Aerith (FFVII) Ellone (FFVIII) Yuna (FFX) Serah (FFXIII) You will play as an original character. You can be from any world you want. The main conflict will be about the Heartless taking the hearts of each world, looking for princesses or something. Something dark. Most likely the villains of each game will be connected to the Heartless. We are not using canon Final Fantasy but instead using the games in a similar way to how KH uses Disney worlds. |

How about the Heartless are looking for either the main characters' or antagonists' Nobodies? And those Heartless could be extremely intelligent and powerful, so we could use them as major antagonists. |

Yes we are! I was planning on using them for my Tears of Panoda original CYOA, but I can come with an equally badass name.
I call them... Corporation 9 (insert Roman numeral nine, which I've forgotten, in the regular nines place.)

Their nobodies are being captured and bred to serve as "weapons" to kill them, the main characters. I suggest they go through a program where they are forced to learn to hate their "real" selves. |

A nobody cannot exist at the same time as the person, unless you're Sora since he had Ventus' heart or whatever.

A. Play as humans.
B. Have our character be Nobodies (actually leaning towards this...)
Question is: If we can't coexist, does that mean our other selves are dead?

...people can't exist at the same time as their Nobodies. When a person is killed by a heartless/keyblade they die and turn into a Nobody and a Heartless.
How's this. Evil Stuff is releasing the Heartless everywhere, trying to Heartlessify as many people as possible in order to make Nobodies, hoping that in the end there will be at least a handful of powerful Org XIII level Nobodies to do...stuff with. Your PC is just a random person who was given a keyblade in order to fight back the heartless.
*idea strikes*
You know me and my time travel plots. Who wants to hear a newly convoluted version of the above?

Namine is an abnormality. Kairi's heart had no darkness in it (princess and all) so she didn't become a heartless.
I don't know about you, but I am not playing a Nobody. Nobodies can't use keyblades (unless you're Roxas, Xion wasn't a Nobody).

Roxas was a rare Nobody. In fact, he only had a Keyblade due to Ventus's heart within Sora. Hence, he looks far more like Ventus than Sora.
So, I guess I'm playing regular. I love Keyblades, and really want one. So, are we done with the plot and need villains? I'd rather have original villains than FF villains.

I think it was stated they lacked a heart. And Keyblades come from the heart. Rocks actually had one I believe, which made him rare to organization 13
