It could also be that Blair has been taking advantage of being around plenty of Nobodies to make observations and try to study them by seeing what they all, including herself, have in common. So you could use that as a way to handwave certain bits of information that they may not otherwise have known or concluded.

"If you kill it a heart comes out, so naturally it eats hearts and killing it frees the hearts." That was the reasoning I had in mind anyways. They see them attack the people though, and I don't recall Heartless actually eating the hearts (or maybe I'm retarded, I dunno). |

Hm...ok. So they know all about nobodies but not so much the heartless. Moran's theory is that they hunt/eat people's hearts, but Blair could have other ideas about it.
