Xemnas could use one too, as stated by Nomura.
Isn't the only prerequisite for using a Keyblade as a Nobody is that your original self could use one?

Xemnas was the nobody of Xehanort, who could use a Keyblade, so I guess you are right. It makes sense, and is really prefer a nobody over being a regular.

I wonder if it's possible to have an opposite gendered Nobody?

Xion was, sort of. She was like a clone or something weird.

Golurk, I thought you weren't a KH fan.
Xion was a living doll made of Sora's memories, nothing to do with Nobodies. She was apparently growing her own heart though, so in theory you could have the Nobody of a female-shaped clone of Sora.

I wonder if it's possible to have an opposite gendered Nobody? A Nobody is literally what's left of that person, as in their body. So no.

Am I the only one who doesn't see the logic in "being a Nobody > being a human?" Aren't they basically the same, except they don't have feelings and they get stronger (which I'm pretty sure doesn't happen 100% of the time)?

Aren't they basically the same, except they don't have feelings and they get stronger (which I'm pretty sure doesn't happen 100% of the time)? People just see the black coats and think "oooh I wanna be that!" And sentient Nobodies are exceedingly rare. And Nobodies aren't stronger than humans. They just have innate magic and boss forms and stuff. In fact I think the strongest "species" in KH is...mouse. Hm. Keyblade wielding humans come second.

Frickin' Mickey Mouse stealing all the glory.
Oh, stronger Nobodies also get to control the lesser ones.

So, I could theoretically have a Nobody be the Nobody of a dead Keyblader and wield a Keyblade?
Only game I've played was Birth By sleep, hands down the best handheld KH. Ventus, Aqua, and Terra was badarse.
Can I vote for having the Keyblades transform into gliders? Best part of BBS was that you could race on one of them. Ventus's was like a Hoverboard. Ah, I miss that game.

So, which one, Nobodies, Humans/others, or maybe intelligent Heartless?
What about Dream Eaters or the Unversed?

Unversed were created by Vanitas, who Ventus defeated at the end of his chapter. Hence, they don't appear in the others.
Didn't play 3D so for know about the dream creatures. I'd like to play as a sentient Nobody who can controls sword using weaker ones.

So like Xaldin, but with swords?

That came out horribly.
*trying to think of a way to use a Keyblade as a nobody*
Controlling lesser nobodies that use swords would be cool.

Unversed are literally manifestations of Ven's emo. They're completely tied to Vanitas though.
Dream Eaters are the "Heartless" of the realm of sleep. When a world is submerged in sleep they're kind of in a pocket dimension frozen in a moment of time. Heartless don't exist or form there, instead the darkness manifests itself as Nightmare Dream Eaters.

Dream Eaters are too colorful and fluffy. I don't like them. Except for in Symphony of Sorcery, where they fit in. Otherwise, no.
Also, can we come up with some excuse to include Traverse Town's Third and Fourth districts, despite them most likely only being canon for the dream Traverse Town?

Anyway, yeah, why not be able to do multiple things? Some of us can be Nobodies (which I originally typed as Noodles, somebody make a note of that), some of us can be normal, some of us can be Heartless. I think Heartless would be guaranteed villains though, and unable to Heel Face Turn, unlike the others.
