@ cheese maybe me and you can work something out. I can be a former employee of yours or something along those lines. I plan on being like a former assisan, bounty hunter, etc. until a certain thing happens and cause me to leave the game. If you want me and you can PM one another and get something worked out unless you already have plans

Why not a fully automatic crossbow? Those have been in existence for I believe at least a thousand years. It fires 10 bolts in 15 seconds, and it can be reloaded in I think 30 seconds if you have a spare clip.
As for the material, is a seashell chitin that's as hard as steel- tungsten and much lighter okay?

I'm going to try this RP.
Name: Teak Alt'aksys
Gender: Female
Appearance: 5'4" slender build. Creamy brown hair, palid complexion, light functional leather armor with metal studs. But her most striking feature are the brilliant golden irises of her eyes.
Magistein: yellow thunder.
Weapon: an ornate short sword with magnetic properties.
Bio: a brilliant and taciturn young girl from the Dukedom of Ragnorok. She poses an uncanny aptitude for discerning the underlying mechanisms for magic and martial techniques and through this ability she has developed a unique fighting style. Her mere presence on the field of battle improves the power and precision of all her allies, and has an opposing effect on her enemies. This skill has coupled with her even tempered manner has earned her a high ranking position in service to archduke Athena. Teak is unflinching loyal to Athena and to all her allies. Teak has however had a long running streak of awkwardness around men trying to suit her.

Probably. The stone itself has the capabilities to manipulate sound, so the versatility of said ability would only be limited by the Mage. However, the ability probably wouldn't be perfect with a low level stone. A stronger stone would be able to produce a stronger effect. I think, if you're looking to replicate human speech perfectly, a Level B or above Wind Magistine would be necessary. |

Arquebus has better damage and penetration, especially compared to a repeating crossbow. He has the side sword for fighting one on one and the arquebus works best fighting in groups or against some weaker monsters. |

Here goes my application...Name: Silvia Fitzgerald a.k.a ShivaGender: FemaleAppearance: Average height, long back length blonde hair she wears in a braid, fair white skin, average built, wears a sky blue shirt which shows just enough of her gifts, with matching sky blue skirt, a functional pair of shoes a German Shepherd she found on the street named Charlie, n old scar which she has covered from the one time she got to cockyMagistine: blue water and ice and white divineWeapons: Twin Blades and a lanceBio: Silvia was abandoned as a kid when her parents left for one final mission. Silvia had to take the streets in order to survive. At first Silvia was clumsy and extremely sloppy. Yet after years of countiously fine tuning her craft she began to get a reputation and the locals began to call her Shiva. The nickname Shiva wasn't just for her extremely fair skin, her piercing blue eyes, or breathtaking looks but also in reference for her extremely gifted useage of water and ice magic. One day Shiva was feeling particularly bold when she tried to break into the Adaein empire where she was caught off guard by one of the guards swords found its mark leaving a nasty gash along her side. Due to the blood loss she passed out right in the treasure room where instead of the guard just throwing her in the dungeon actually took her to the infarmy. While Silvia was recovering one of the guards (ironically enough it was the one who slashed her and arrested her) actually offered her a deal. Silvia could either live the rest of her life in dungeon for her crimes or she could join up as one of the patrolling officers to help protect the Adaein army. Silvia deciding that patrolling the kingdom was better then rotting in jail decided to join up as a patrolling officer. Silvia became the youngest patrol officer at the age of 14. As the years went on a legend started spreading around the empire of Adaein empire. Those who would harm the weak or cause trouble within the empire beware of the wrath of Shivia. With her ice cold eyes and her icey indifference towards crime all criminals became wary. One day while going on a normal patrol she noticed a stray puppy barely a couple of weeks old. Silvia took the puppy in right away and raised him probably because the German Shepherd reminded her so much of herself. Now at the age of 20 she is one of the co-captins of the patrol force and as a present she received a lance and what appears to be a white stone. Along with the blue stone she had with her since birth and a pair of twin blades which were the only thing has which remains from her parents. Until one day a rumor circled around concerning the death of her parents. Her parents didn't abadon her but they were killed. Turns out Silvia's parent were actually part of some shadey business. Well when her parents wanted to leave behind their shady past when there boss said they could leave after one final job. Turns out the job was an ambush when her parents were killed. Now Silvia is on a mission for revenge. She travels the world with her trusty compainon Charlie looking for clues on her murdered her parents.She appears to have an icey demeanor on the outside but is actually a sweetheart underneath. She is more comfortable hanging around a group of guys then ladies. She isn't a tomboy per say but she definitely not a girly girly girl. Also Silvia has little time for people who are liars or are deceitful. Finally, woo by the person who gets on her bad side because then you will find out why she is called Shiva queen of the ice.Home: Adaein empire
