D&D A Single Spark

They went through a tunnel in the bottom of the quarry. Russell is currently sliding down said hole. Gildis cannot see them, since they would not even be within his line of sight, but no kobolds are aware of him.

"I'd suggest smoking them out... But since our friend has gone and tumbled headlong into battle, perhaps we ought just follow his example." Gildis says as he catches up to the rest of the group. "So I say, last one there gets last pick of the loot!"

He charges the quarry, attempting to slide down after Russel, albeit with some intent behind his footing.

"No, don't!" Krista calls out as Gildis dashes past her down the chute. Grumbling, she moves swiftly to the path and begins making her way down it, moving quickly.

"Of all the places in the world for them to rush head long why did it have to be a quarry?" Crois groans as he heads down the path a brisk pace.

For all intents and purposes, it won't exist in this campaign. It is so badly designed it's not even funny.

"Are you on fire? Just say no. Then you won't be on fire any more."

Are you blind, deaf, bleeding, crippled, dazed, afraid, poisoned, sick, or have any unfavorable status condition that still allows a range of motion, just say no.

Then your problem goes away.

Speeding down swiftly toward the bottom of the quarry, Russell braces himself as Gildis tumbles down behind him, rolling with the turns of the trench. As Russell nears the bottom, he spots a pile of leaves and twigs. As he barrels into it, the twigs snap out from under him and he begins to fall. Without thinking, he reaches out a hand and miraculously, he finds a grip on an oddly shaped rock. As he grasps it for dear life, Gildis bounds over him, springing over the pitfall with ease.

Russell manages to hang tight to the handhold as his body slams into the side of the pitfall. Hanging suspended over a pit 10 feet deep, Russell manages to breathe a sigh of relief... When his handhold breaks in his grip. He Immediately he launches himself off the pit wall in a gravity defying leap and lands on the other wall, with a burst of energy, climbing out of the pit.

He spots his sword lying 5 feet away, lying between him and Gildis.

Okay, so everyone moves down toward the bottom then, since no one is taking their turn.
