The Amonkhet masterpiece frame is awful though. It's gaudy, makes the text unreadable, and overpowers the art.

And this is coming from someone who managed to open one (Daze, which is admittedly one of the prettiest but my point stands).

I mean, Mogis has the Nyx background thing going on.

Thank Mama Oni that I was finally able to ascend Drake.  She and Santa are putting in work.

I'm downsizing my manabase order. Apparently there's a really good budget Maze of Ith replacement (Kor Haven). It doesn't stop attack triggers, but it keeps things tapped, only prevents their combat damage (perfect for my low toughness walls with block triggers), and can tap for mana in a pinch. Only real downside is that it costs mana to activate the ability. I also replaced Strip Mine with Tectonic Edge (Strip Mine went up in price somehow over a few days) and got rid of Reflecting Pool (already have Rupture Spire, Mana Confluence, Exotic Orchard, Command Tower, and City of Brass).

But that brought the total cost down by like $30, so I'm happy.

The spike in difficulty from America to Camelot is pretty huge. Once I have Ozy, Saberlot, and Herc max ascended things will be a bit easier, but until then, my only Servants that are high enough level to do much are Scathach, Sanzang, and Emiya. Saberlot, Ozy, and Herc are all level 60. Herc can go up to 70, but Ozy and Saberlot are stuck until I progress the story. I already have enough materials to ascend Herc to max, I just need to focus on levelling him up. I still need 8 more Void Dust to max ascend Emiya. I still have to finish levelling Kintoki. And I still need lots more Yggdrasil Seeds to ascend d'Eon and level Mash's skills.

So, so much to do. Once I do get it all done tho, things will get a lot easier. I also should probably level Billy the Kid and Robin Hood, since I don't have Euryale or David(I made the mistake of burning them a while ago). I do have two max level Orions as friend servants tho, so I'm not too worried.

My biggest worry is Lancer Artoria tho... My only levelled Sabers are d'Eon and Saberlot, and d'Eon doesn't do much damage. I do have lots of amazing friend Sabers, but I'm still probably going to have to level up Caesar and ascend him to max.

Now, if I get Mordred from the paid gacha, that will make that fight significantly easier.

No worries. I haven’t touched Camelot at all. I have David decently leveled though. I’m not sure when I’ll play again since I’ve been focusing on other things lately. Maybe next week or sometime later I’ll do it.

I don't blame GX for losing momentum in the worst Singularity.

Well, well. Netflix finally released Fate Extra/Last Encore Season 1, which means it has an official English dub now. I might watch it since I’ve watched every Fate anime up until now...no matter the quality. My dislike of Nero has changed to sympathy after reading his life, which extends to Fateverse Nero as well.

It’s a case of “poor communication kills” and something I’m surprised Shakespeare didn’t take an interest in writing to my knowledge. Tragic? Check. Senate potentially willing to spare their ‘wayward’ emperor yet said emperor having no idea at the time? Check.

Reading the alleged last quotes changed my mind about Nero. There really was no way out.

On the topic of Septem...I wouldn’t say worst but it definitely raises some eyebrows. But most of that is Boudicca and Nero’s relationship. Considering their IRL history, there’s nothing but plot stopping that Iceni queen from strangling the life out of the fanbase’s beloved Umu.

DW later addressed their relationship as something they would’ve wanted to change in retrospect lol. Worse Singularity to me is Oceanos.
