There's lots of different precons.

Not a lot have the Commander 2017 ones but if it is (it should be called Draconic Domination) pick it up. It's selling online for three times MSRP so copies "in the wild" are pretty rare.

Hm, sure. I've never played commander before though, only regular magic. But I can figure it out for sure.

If we can do so without spending even more money on MTGO, then sure.

Also we don't know if Commander 2018 will have Dragons or what themes they'll have at all (my guess is new Planeswalker Commanders or possibly Flip Commanders.

As for standard sets, do you think we'll see Theros again soon? That Satyr Enchanter has me thinking that Bolas will try to overlay Ravnica with Theros (Core 2019 focuses on Bolas a lot, there aren't any satyrs on Ravnica to my knowledge, and the satyr has Bolas horns with a glowing orb in the middle). The guilds and gods interacting with each other seems like too interesting of an opportunity for Wizards to not go for.

Core 2019 just has cards from everywhere. It's meant to be an "introduction" set flavored with many planes, with a story based on some aspect of the larger multiverse, or in this case am overarching villain.

Theros has an unresolved story of its own, since Elspeth is only mostly dead, Heliod is still in power, and they have an opening for an RG god if Xenagos is actually gone. So yeah, Theros is the Number 1 "return" set right after Ravnica.

They're doing a Bolas focus for the story of core set because they want to give him a backstory befote they presumably end his current arc in the Ravnica sets. It's like how Half-Blood Prince went into Voldemort's backstory.

Right. A note for anyone going to see it, in case your local theater doesn't have a posted warning. There's a scene with flashing lights that would be bad for anyone at risk for seizures. It's hard to take for everyone, but could be dangerous for some. Something to bear in mind. But it has been treated with a great deal of thought by the animators, which helps. I can PM with minimal out of context spoilers as to when the scene occurs if someone needs it.

I think I’ll stop at 120mil in FGO. It depends on how much I want those summoning tickets for the eventual summer banner. After this event it’s Camelot. Then the summer banner. I started Doki Doki Literature Club last night after some writing.

There is something wrong with Monica; her poems are...abnormal.

I just remembered I have a foil Gwafa Hazid in the new legendary card frame (Battlebond reprint) so maybe I'll build a Commander deck around him.
