I meant the FF RP, which won't start until next week I assume from Golurk's post. I'll do quite a bit of reading for the DnD though.

I have a question about multiclassing.
If I have a character who has three levels in Wizard and two levels in Warrior, is his hit dice based off of Wizard, Warrior, or both? (He started in Wizard)

Book of Nine Swords finally loaded. After looking at that and several other expansions, I'm thinking we should just go with slightly altered vanilla 3.5. Too much stuff with all the expansions. We should include a handful of new classes and feats and skills and spells, but not too much.
Is Crusader a standard or Prestige Class?

(He started in Wizard) Both. First level wizard hit dice Say second level you take barbarian, you role a d12 for hit points. Third level you take a second wizard level, role d4.

Got it.
So what are we doing for add-ons?

The best thing about expansions is that you can cherry pick what you want.

Have we decided on a DM? It's ultimately up to them as to which expansions they wish to include.
I suggest Tome of Battle, maybe Psionics if it is a Psionic campaign, or for an occasional Psionic enemy.

Maybe some spells from some of the expansions for the less useful schools (Divination) and more options for Conjuration and Evocation. Some new spell feats would be nice too.

So... There seem to be 5 of us here(?) so far.
Assuming that one of us ends up as the DM, then the rest of us can make up a classic 4 member adventuring party.
This includes a warrior for melee, such as a fighter, monk, paladin, ranger, or a martial adept class. (Crusader, Warblade, Swordsage) to be on the front lines (or sometimes shooting arrows) protecting squishier party members, and dealing out damage.
An expert such as a rogue, or bard, or scout. Which helps with combat, trap finding, and all sorts of skills.
An arcane spell caster such as a sorcerer, or wizard, for magic related things and dismantling obstacles in the party's way that they have prepared to face.
And last, but not least, a divine spell caster such as a cleric or druid for healing, buffing, debuffing, and special stuff like turning undead and calling upon the power of nature.
Without one of the categories, everybody's life gets harder, but it can be worked around.

I've looked at some spells and feats that I like. I think that for magic users at least that the DM should select a large number of spells and feats from Complete Mage, Magic of Incarnum, Complete Arcane, and Tome of Magic. Ones that I hope for are Luminous Swarm, Enduring Scrutiny, True Casting, Fiery Burst, Spellcaster's Bane, Heart of [Element], [Placeholder] Spirit, Acidic Splatter, Thunderclap, Storm Bolt, and lots of other spell and magic-related feats.

Basically any reserve feats would be nice.
I plan on running a Diviner Sorcerer who also uses Evocation and Abjuration, so that effects my preference quite a bit.
So, Neo, do you plan on running a character even as DM (assuming you want the position)?

I'd like to play as a druid if no one else wants the position.

Go ahead. You could always multiclass.

Sorcerer. Crusader. Ranger/scout if nobody wants to be an expert. I'm either playing a warblade, Swordsage (which now that I think about it, also falls under the expert category), or if we need one, a Druid.
If we need one, I can DM as long as I don't try to be too ambitious too early.

I'm thinking of getting a few ranks in Loremaster. My character will basically be the most useful outside of combat and a support/control in combat. Going to put ranks in Spot, Knowledge, Appraise, possibly Forgery, and I will invest in spell feats and reserve feats (Fiery Burst will be extremely helpful).

Defently looks like its starting to heat up.
I do have couple of questions
I don't have any dice would that be a promblem?
Also how does multiclassing work? Could I be two or three different classes? Kind of want a fighter who can use spells ( Crusader + Wizard perhaps)
