Is there a soul out there who is willing to break a tie that I have with the Rosa and whether or not you want to use skills?
For now Bio bump.
Fawful: The one the only genius with the fury has arrived to the cyoa. When we last some him he had a plan which involved Bowser swallowing Mario and friends. He planned to use Peach to revive the dark star core but was stopped by the combine forces of Mario and Bowser. Since then he disappeared into a well of shadows in a weaken state (that of a tiny bug). Yet the genius who prefers his mustard doom flavor somewho seems back and better then ever. When you first meet up he has teamed up with a chapter boss only to betray by him later. When Fawful catches word of Bowser's plan from Bowser's own kid he decides its time for him to make himself known. With his team of 'loyal' minions Fawful plans to take the golden objects for himself. What does he plan to do and does he think he can honestly absorb the powers of a goddess? Well the only answers you get from him is that, "He has chlortels,".
Oh the fun I plan on writing for Fawful. He combines two of my favorite things word play and puns. So whenever he is present expect a whole lot of play on words and puns. Also expect a whole lot of broken English. Just a fair warning to all my readers.

So did Anna decide it was time for some Luigi love or is it back to his brothers shadow? Well since Anna seems to have it out for Luigi she chose A.) Mario and Rosa C.
What about skills? Well Anna decided that Mario was to learn cure and Rosa to learn nothing.

Kinda of have a lot of other stuff going on in the verse right now. I will have the support conversation up tomorrow along with a story post and maybe up to the first boss fight.
I know I said this a million times but I really do want to thank everyone who has ever voted, viewed,or just glanced at this cyoa. It really does mean something to me considering I was extremely nervous about even trying this cyoa b/c I was afraid of how it would be received and what type of reception it would receive. Sorry if it sounds like I am being dramatic but despite some of the posts in other topics I am actually kinda of shy when it comes to new things like this. So any support I get I really do appreciate.
Okay let's see Bio Bump. Kinda of want to do a short one.... I guess let's go with Robin.
Robin (aka Male/ female made unit) was a youth who fell in love with our lovable goddess Anna. What started out as just a chance encounter would eventually grow into something more intimate. Unfortunately, for Robin ??? saw Robin as interference that had to be dealt with. So ???? had Robin meet ???? at the out realm gates to talk about an important issue involving Anna. When Roibins guard was dropped that's when ???? made it's move and stabbed Robin right through the heart. ???? tossed Robin through the out realm gates hoping to hide the deed that was done.
Robin in a miracle actually survived the wound and the journey. Unfortunately due to the toll of his injuries and the strain of the journey it caused Robin to lose his memory (again). Robin was eventually rescued by Lissa.... I mean Merlin who nursed him back to health. When he sees Mario he will join him in axn effort to maybe reunite with his long lost love. For some reason he also seems particularly drawn to Rosa because in his words "She reminds him of somebody he knows,". What role does the play in this and what will happen if he does run into Anna? Those questions remain to be seen.

"Hey brother mind if I take a nap before we head out?" Luigi asked. "Sure just remember not to nap too long otherwise we leave you behind," Mario said. "Night night," Luigi said as he closed his eyes and pulled his hat over his eyes. "Good maybe I can get a chance to find out the story of Rosa," Mario thought as he made his way to Rosa. "I wonder how my children are doing I did kind of leave unannounced," Rosalina thought. "I can only imagine how Prince Luma is doing probably giving Lubba a hard time," Rosalina thought.
"Hey Rosa you have some time to chat?" Mario called out. In response Rosa just glanced at Mario and nodded yes.

"Who are you really?" Mario asked. "You remind me of that Rosalina person but different somehow," Mario said to Rosa. "Mario I am just some traveler who was testing out a new cannon and I kinda of landed next to your house," Rosa said. "As far as I know I have no idea who Rosalina is," she continued. "You a expect me to believe that story?" Mario said. "Why do I have a feeling there is more to you lime you are hiding something from me?" Mario said. Rosa promptly stood up and looked Mario in the eyes. "Mario for now that's all you need to know about me," Rosa said. "If you choose to trust me or not is your choice," Rosa told Mario. "Just know I am on your side and I am here to do whatever I can to help," Rosa said. "Then I want a promise one day you will tell me your whole story," Mario said. "I promise Mario and I look forward to that day," Rosa said with a wink.
End of support.
"Oh Mario before I forget catch," Rosa said as she tossed the cure materia to Mario. "What am I suppose to do with this?" Mario asked. "You have to focus your energy on the stone and if the stone accepts you it will grant you it's power," Rosa said. "Here we go," Mario said as he closed his eyes and focused on the stone. Upon doing this the stone seemed to fuse with Mario. As Mario opened his eyes he felt a sudden rush of knowledge rush into his mind like the skill cure was a very part of him.
Mario learned Cure.
"So how do you feel Mario?" Rosa asked. "I feel good like I had the ability to use cure from the time I was born," Mario said. "One thing I should tell you materia chooses who can use its power," Rosa said. "Glad at least somebody knows about this stuff," Mario said.
"So are you ready to go to the bridge?" Mario asked. " Yeah," Luigi yelled as he was waking up. "I guess if Luigi is ready I am too," Rosa said. The group packed up there belongings and made there way over to the bridge.

"So all we have to do to is cross this bridge and we will be in Toad Town right?" Rosa asked. Mario and Luigi both shook there heads yes. "Couldn't we just swim across?" Rosa asked. "Well you see, its boss bass spawning season," Luigi said pointing towards the river. "Yeah those things are big enough to eat a person in one gulp," Mario said as one of the boss basses hopped out of the river getting dangerously close. "Besides the bridge is safe its not like anything could happen," Luigi said until a laughter out of no where's spooked him.
"You can use the bridge Mario, Peach in a blue dress, and green person if you can defeat me in battle," a rather large goomba called out. "Aren't you the goomba king?" Mario called out. "You seem to have me confused with another for you see I am the great and powerful Goombamesh," the goomba responded. "Aren't you just goomba king without the crown?" Luigi asked. "You punks better watch who you are talking to," one green goomba and one orange goomba called out." I am Goom and I am Drich and we are the followers of the great Goombamesh," both of the goombas called out. "Bottom line feeble plumber and feeble plumber friends if you want to cross this bridge you will have to best me in combat," Goombamesh told Mario and friends as he blocked there path. "Yeah give up now there is no chance," Goom called out. "You are looking upon the very champion of goomba kind," Drich called out.
"Well looks like we have no choice unless you think we can swim through bass infested water," Luigi said. "Its just a big goomba and two slightly smaller ones," Rosa said. "Looks like me only have one choice let's go," Mario said charging Goombamesh. "Okie dokie," Luigi called out following Mario's path. "How bad can an overgrown goomba be?" Rosa asked. As the battle at the big bridge ( wasn't that the name of a song from FF V) begins.
Yup the time is finally here for our first boss fight vs. Goombamesh and Goom and Drich. Will have stats and poll up tomorrow.

Will have the stats for the boss and the choices coming up soon? I plan on giving you 3 different choices when I open the poll I tried to not make it too hard but I didn't want the first boss to be a pushover. You will see the stats and let you guys come up with a strategy.
Also just in case you are wandering how will healing or reviving work. Well if someone faints and you either have a 1-up or a life spell and FP to cast it I will have someone use it on there turn. If you have no way to revive them then they are out of commission til you can revive them.
Healing on the other hand well for now I will leave that up to you guys how conservative you want to be. You don't have to tell me now just vote on it when the polls become available.
Finally just to save space I will list the conditions:
Win: Defeat Goombamesh and Goom and Erich
Lose: All the players characters faint

Now its time for the polls which will be 3 parts:
First who should you focus on first?
A.) Goombamesh
B.) Goom and Erich
C.) Doesn't matter
Second how do you want to handle healing?
H.) Conservative ( HP at 75% or less)
I.) Average (HP at 50% or less)
J.) When we have to ( HP at 25% or less)
Basically whatever one you chose at the beginning of the round if you access to healing items or spells I will randomly determine who uses the healing item on the person who needs it.
Finally, choose a strategy?
1.) Basically have the RNG play it out and hope for the best.
2.) Mario takes the lead and has an eaqul chance of doing skills and melee but takes brunt of the attacks. Luigi and Rosa stay in the back and launch skill they are more likely to do skills but are the secondary focus of the boss.
3.) Stay as far away as possible A will suffer a penalty of -3 force the group but + 3 to defense. Emphis will be on skills and Mario will be the slightly favored target.
4.) Pair up your characters (choose who and another number)
5.) Custom Strategy
So there you have it folks like I said I kinda of wanted to put some challenge to the first boss. So poll is open and good luck with the battle on the bridge.

So it looks like its safe to lock in D will run RNG later tonight and maybe the battle. Now the time has come for another one of my wonderful and wacky bio bumps. Let's see how bout Goombamesh the pinnacle of Goomba kind..... what do you mean it would be a waste of time? Fine you guys can be so bossy some times  How bout the one and only lovely Goddess of Gold and Numbers? The one, the only, the slightly erratic Anna. Let's see on the surface she might just seem like every other nurse joy (the Anna of Pokemon)..... Anna. Yet this one was born with the power of a goddess. Legend has it one every thousand years a special Anna will be born which will be the embodiment of the Anna's love for gold and random numbers. This Anna is the lucky one. We know Anna can be very finkle sometimes saving us when we were suppose to get destroyed. Cursing us when we least see it coming. Some people love to blame Anna for the misfortune that happens to them not saying who. 'Starts whistling'. Yet people don't know the whole story. Anna was just like every other young child young, full of wonder, and innocent. She adores her older sister and works extra hard to get her approval. As the years goes on she studies the family trade under the watchful eye of her sister. Yet one day by chance she meets a young boy by the name of Robin. The two begin seeing each other at first just casual conversation. After several such meetings the two begin to fall in love and the interactions quickly went from casual to intimate. Yet, someone wasn't happy about Anna having a boyfriend. So one day when Robin disappeared Anna was deeply upset. Til the day the person who got rid of Robin decided to say to Anna that Robin ran off with another. This is when Anna's sorrow turned to rage. During this rage she went on epic tares some which can be found here on the verse. One day in a moment of clarity she realized what she did. So behind her sisters back she sealed her power amongst Golden objects and she banished those objects through the outrealm gate. She had just enough strength left to make it to an ancient shrine. This is where Anna entered into a deep slumber until one day somebody brings all of the golden objects to reawaken her. |

Getting caught up on this story now, and am really enjoying it. Once I'm caught up, I'll probably be using the discussion topic quite a bit, but until then I just wanted to say that another Mario RPG featuring the newer Mario characters (specifically Warily and Rosalina) would be amazing.

Thank you for the support Cloud I said this a million times but like I said I am always extremely grateful for all the support I get.
There are two discussion topics. The original Mushroom House has most of the info I am using. The White Mushroom House is the current one where all the discussion takes place and where I will be posting anything new or reworked.
Rosalina is in the cyoa and actually you know you just gave me a great idea. When should Rosalina reveal her true identy?
A.) As soon as we get to Peach's Castle
B.) Early in the cyoa but after Peach's Castle but during ch. 1
C.) Midway throughout the cyoa
D.) Later in the Cyoa
E.) The reader chooses when you want it to happen (custom option)

"Oh and by the way take the very power of wind," Luigi said as he unleashed a powerful gust towards Goombamesh and his followers. "Don't forget my stinging mist Rosa said as he a powerful mist also collided with the enemy. " Nice one plumber and friends but you will have to do more to defeat me," Goombamesh said. "Come on out Boys as 5 goombas appeared around Goombamesh. " Show that fool over there that I mean business," as the five goombas went to attack Mario. "Goombamesh with your power and knowledge your brilliance should see us through," as Goom caused Goombamesh to increase by one. "Yeah you fools are in trouble now here take this head bonk," as Drich headhunted Rosa. "You see plumber you are out of your league here give up and Goombamesh shall make your defeat quick and painless," Goombamesh said to Mario in a taunting matter. As the battle went on.
