Hello everyone on the verse this is my first attempt at a cyoa. I have been a fan of cyoa's since the golren days of the gamefaqs FE:A board. If I were to break down the cyoa in terms of percentage it would be: 50% Mario and Mario RPG's; 30% Fire Emblem; 10% Final Fantasy (some of the magic names) and Dragon Quest (some of the magic names and references to buildings I use); 5% Smash Brother's; and 5% other cyoa.
So sit back and relax and enjoy the ride.

Introduction Place: Inside Rosalina's Library. "It's story time my children come and gathered around," Rosalina called out to her the lummas. "Yay story time we love mama's story," the lummas called out in joy. "What story will you be telling us to day mama?" asked the lummas rather excited.. "It's a story of a famous plumber and his battle against the greedy king of the koopas," said Rosalina as she was trying to calm down her excited children. Suddenly, a collective 'Awww' filled the room from all the disappointed lummas. "Mom we already this story a bunch of times can't we here something different," cried out one of the lummas. Rosalina just glanced over the room with a kind, motherly look and told the lummas. "My children you have to learn to be more patient this story does involve Mario and the greedy Koopa King," said Rosalina to her impatient children. "Yet, this also involves a goddess of old, one of great power," Rosalina told the lummas. "This ancient goddess has the power to build many great kingdoms, but also the power to destroy them," said Rosalina as she went to gather the book she was about to read. " In a far away land strong and fierce creatures known as dragons are known to cower before her might," said Rosalina as she took her seat. " Stories tell how even the most carefully, laid plans meant nothing to this goddess," said Rosalina towards the now suddenly interested lummas. "She sounds like a scary lady," one of the lummas called out. "She does my children but you see there is more to the story," Rosalina told the scared lumma. "My children gather around and let me tell you the whole story of this this ancient goddess who goes by the name Anna," said Rosalina as some guests entered the library. "Oh I see you must be the guests I heard about from the stars," said Rosalina. "I am glad you made it here safely," she said with a smile. Now with prince lumma plopped on her lap Rosalina picks up the book. "Okay here goes a story which involves Mario, the greedy Koopa King, and a goddess of old," said Rosalina as she began to read from.

Prolong: Here we go again
Place: Bowser's study inside of his castle. "Arrrgghhh'" called out Bowser with frustration. "There has to be a something in here I can use here to finally defeat Mario," said Bowser stomping around. "Kooplings invade, the kingdoms and steal magical wands, no that was a failure," grunted Bowser with some frusttations. "What about wishing to be invincible to any of his attacks with that star wandy thing?" thought Bowser with some eagerness til he remembered. "Sigh that planned failed too," said Bowser with defeat. "I can try eating him I am much bigger then him and it's not like Mario or that clone of his would would fill me up," said Bowser as he about to leave and grab his handkerchief. Then Bowser had a flashback about what happened the last time which caused a cold shiver to go up his spine. "No never again after he used me like some Bowser robot," said Bowser as tears were beginning to form in his eyes. "Why can't I find a plan to defeat why why?" said Bowser stomping his feet. When a book fell from the shelf and knocked him on top of his head. "Stupid book I will deal with you later ," Bowser said as he chucked the book as hard as he could. Just then Kamek walked in and was greeted by the book Bowser chucked. "Good arm as always my lord," said Kamek with a nice bruise on it's face from where the book landed. "Who dares disturbe me when I am in the middle of important business?" said Bowser in a very reagal manner. "Oh it's you, what do you want Kamek?" he said in a disappointed matter. "Just wanted to see what his evilness was up to," replied Kamek. "Anyways what happened with the book you throw," asked Kamek. "It was some stupid book placed by Mario to thwart my brilliant plans," Bowser replied with an air of defiance. "He thought a mere book placed randomly could defeat me," said Bowser doing his evil laugh. "Your evilness would you mind if I take a look at that book?" asked Kamek. "Knock yourself out," replied Bowser nonchalantly. As Kamek got closer to the book Kamek noticed the title of the book called "Anna The Goddess of Gold,". "Hmmm," this might be interesting said Kamek as it began to read through the book. |

So far so good X but work on the type O's about one in ten of your words are misspelled or the wrong word.

Thanks for the advice. Some of the words could be a slip on the keyboard some are from auto correct. Probably didn't help I was rushing the posts today but will profread if nothing else tonight.

While Bowsers loyal minon was flipping through the pages something got it's eyes. " Your vileness come here this book is the key to defeating Mario," called out Kamek who was so excited that Kamek nearly tackled Bowser to the ground.
"Watch you oaf I can always have you replaced," sneered Bowser to the clumsy magikoopa.
"Your lord look this book talks about an ancient goddess from a far away land," said Kamek.
"We already tried that and she nearly destroyed the world," said an impatient Bowser.
"Your vileness this is different apparently, this goddess isn't good or bad all she wants is gold," said Kamek. "Go on and this has better be worth my time," said Bowser kinda of interested, kinda of steamed look. "There are nine golden artifacts scattered acrossed the land your scaliness, and sometimes scariness," Kamek said in a convincing tone. "In fact one of those artifacts are right here," Kamek said as it made its way over to something shining in the study.
"Me first," said Bowser knocking over Kamek in the process. "It looks like a fireball but its made of pure gold and its so shiny," said Bowser almost hypnotized by the golden fireball.
"My grumpiness there's more in this book," said a slightly dazed Kamek. "Once all of these artifacts have been gathered a path will reveal it's self to an ancient shrine," Kamek said while studying the book. "Once the golden artifacts are brought to her alter, Anna will reveal herself to the bearer," said Kamek to Bowser who was actually stomping for joy. "Once Anna is revealed she will grant a single wish," said Kamek to the 'happy' Bowser.
"What are we waiting for kids get over here now," said Bowser summoning his children. "Look here there also a map which shows the location and look there's one located in a place you are familiar with," said Kamek with a snicker.
As Kamek and Bowser were going over the map the kooplings and Bowser Jr came into the library. "Yes father," they all said in unison. "Look over this map and each of you chose a location," said Bowser marching back and forth. "Each of you are to go to a location on this map and obtain the golden artifact there,". "Dad what about Peaches Castle," said Bowser Jr. "No one but me and this absent minded Koopa Kamek are to go anywhere's near there, otherwise you can enjoy a swim with the boss basses," said Bowser to all his children. "Now go my children go and get me my shiny objects... I mean golden artifacts," said Bowser.
Afterwards the kooplings and Bowser Jr. left while chuckling at their dad's slip up. "Come Kamek I to make a visit to my someone very special," said Bowser with his evil Bowser laugh. As Kamek ad Bowser made their way to their respective vechiles and made off for Peach's Castle.
Meanwhile...
A curouis lummas who was just passing through the area overheard everything. "Mama has to know about this," said the lummas making his way back home.

Place: Rosalina's Spaceship
"Hey mam everything looks good to go, said the large purple lumma named Lubba. "This is good to hear," said Rosalina as she was making her rounds. "You miss Mario, Peach, and that green person don't you," asked Lubba in a serouis tone. "A little," sighed Rosalina just gazing out to the star. "I do know I can not make contact with them under most circumstances, but still it would be nice to see them again," sighed Rosalina
"You know how it could affect the balance right mam and besides who would guard the lummas and the power stars with you away," asked Lubba. "You know you don't have to lecture your own mother right Lubba," while Rosalina just gave him a stare.
Just then a frantic lumma came running into Rosalina. "Mama the big scary monster has another scary plan of his again," said the lumma with a scared look on his face. "Little one it's fine Mario will take care of it," Rosalina told the scared lummas. "Besides child I can't do anything to stop Bowser because I am not allowed to interfere in their lives," said Rosaline with a disappointed tone.
"Mama the monster mentioned someone called a goddess and she sounds powerful," lumma said while crying in his mothers arms. Suddenly, Rosalina turned suspiciously quiet after hearing what the lumma had to say. Rosalina's next words were " I see this changes everything,". "Tell your brothers to get the launch star ready I am going to help Mario," Rosalina instructed the lumma.
"Wait!," screamed Lubba. "What do you think your doing?" Lubba asked Rosalina. "Stand down you!" she said in a dark voice towards Lubba. "If this goddess is who I think it is we are all in big trouble," said Rosaline heading towards the launch deck. Lubba recovering from the shock just asked Rosalina "Wouldn't Mario just beat her like everybody else in the past?"
"I heard rumors of her through the stars," said Rosalina with much concern in her voice. "This goddess is like nothing he has never seen," Rosalina replied. "The stars tell stories of her many blessings, but they also talk about the incredible wrath she is capable of," said Rosalina. "The truth is Lubba even with my help Mario may not be strong enough," as Rosalina was getting close to the launch decks.
"What about the power stars?" Lubba asked highly upset. "Who will take care of your children while you are gone?" Lubba chocked out while fighting tears. "Finally, what if something bad happens to you mother?" Lubba said while crying.
Rosalina paused for a moment and went over to the highly, upset lumma and gave him a motherly, hug. "It's okay child your mother is here," Rosalina told the upset Lubba. "I have too do this because if this goddess's power is unleashed then the whole world will be in danger," Rosalina whispered to the sobbing Lubba. "Besides I will be with Mario and do you think for a moment he would let something happen to your mom," Rosalina told the Lumma shaking his head no. "That's a good boy, I need you to be strong for everybody," Rosalina said. "While I am away you are in charge of the spaceship and your brothers and sisters," she said to the sobering Lubba.
"Okay mom I wouldn't let you down," said Lubba with a mock solute. "Thank you Lubba the lummas need their big brother to be strong," she said while on the deck. "One more thing before I go," Rosalina said as she waved her wand around her and a bright light engulfed her.
When the light faded, out stepped a young lady in her early to mid 20's, who had a sky blue skirt on, with her long orange like hair in a pony tail. "How do I look?" asked Rosalina to a blushing Lubba. "Like a goddess," is the first thing that came out of his mouth. "Why thank you," Rosaline replied. "Okay set the cordance for Mario's house," said Rosaline as she placed herself in the launch star.
"You better come back to us alive," Lubba said to the launching Rosalina. Rosalina replied with a thumbs up while the star launched her towards Mario's house.
"I am on my way Mario," Rosalina said to herself as Mario's house came into view.

Place: Mario's House
"Hey brother," Luigi called out to his brother Mario. "Looks like another boring day with nothing exciting happening," Luigi told Mario as Mario was going through the mail.
" I am a busy," Mario told the whining Luigi. "All these a bills and a letters don't open them a selves up," Mario said annoyed going through the mail."Let's a see what I have here?" Mario said. "Bills, junk, donations to the Help a Toad foundation, missing koopa reports, and advertisements for warp pipes mama mia," Mario cryed out. When suddenly, a certain pink letter caught the attention of the brothers.
"Mario and Luigi come to the castle it's lovely outside and I baked a cake for you, me, Luigi, and Daisy," signed Princess Peach. "PS if I am not there Toadsworth will let you in".
"Woohoo!" Luigi called out. "You have to bring me... I mean cake I love cake ," said an overexcited Luigi flutter kicking around the house.
"Mama Mia sometimes I a wonder why the Yoshis ever bother to save him?" thought an embarrassed Mario.
"Let's a go," Mario called out to Luigi.
"Coming brother first let me grab a couple of things," said Luigi running back into the bedroom. Luigi walks out with a broom for himself and a toy hammer for Mario. "Can never be too careful with all those 'dangerous' goombas running around," said a cheerful Luigi.
"The only thing a dangerous is where I am a going to stick this hammer at...," as Mario's thought was interrupted by a loud crashing sound. "Let's go see what that was," Mario said to Luigi.
Luigi obtained a broom: Its just a normal broom : ( attack 3 st.; ghost capture percent: Boo laughing in your face.)
Mario obtained a toy hammer: the first hammer an infant will ever use (Attack: 4 st.)
I will explain weapons and affects in the discussion board.
Now back to our story.

As Mario and Luigi went to examine the crater the brothers noticed a young lady in the center barely aware of her surroundings. Some goombas which were in the area also noticed the crash and thought they could get the jump on this mysterious lady.
"Luigi we have to go and help her out," Mario said.
"Mario we have to go we can't keep that deliouis cake... I mean Peach waiting," Luigi said.
What will you do and who will help this poor defenseless lady?
(3x normal goombas 1hp)
A.) Mario (exp + support points)
B.) Luigi (exp + support points)
C) No one because these are goombas we are talking about (???? gets exp.)
PS: I will edit tomm. to tired right now. Any comments, ideas, or suggestions either post them here (but keep it to a min) or in the Mushroom House (where there is no limit on the posts there).

"Luigi we can't leave the lady by herself even if they are goombas," Mario told Luigi. "Besides we already know by the time we get there Bowser will already be taking the Peach," Mario said with a look of deja vu. "I guess it can't hurt to take a couple of moments to help out this stranger," Luigi lamented.
The Mario Bros. made there way to where the lady was just looking around while the goombas were dangerously close. Mario was about to take action when he tripped over a pebble landing face first into the ground.
"I guess it's a Luigi time," Luigi said while gripping him broom. The first goombas was dealt with a simple jump to the head. As the second goomba was still recovering, Luigi swung as hard as he could and the goomba went airborne. The third one thought he could get the jump on Luigi. At the last moment Luigi whirled around with his broom catching the goomba mid- air sending him crashing into the fence.
"Luigi number one," said a confident Luigi. "Wow brother didn't know you were a capable of that," Mario said in a shook.
"Oh to be saved by the great and famous Mario," the young lady said before she turned around. After she turned the young lady saw it was Luigi that saved her."I was saved by Luigi," was what the lady said a little surprised and a little disappointed voice.
All Luigi could do was let out a sigh.

"Don't get me wrong I am grateful for the help," the young lady said. "I was just expecting Mario that's all," she replied.
"It's fine I get it all the time," Luigi said while kicking the ground. "If it's any consolation I thought you were pretty brave espically because of your reputation," the lady said giving Luigi a comforting hug. While the lady and Luigi were talking Mario made his way over.
"That's a nice crater, how did you manage that?" Mario asked suspiciously. "Why I was just testing out a new bom-bob canon," she replied with a smile. "How did you know my name and Luigi's name?" Mario said questioning the lady. "Mario has a point, nobody knows who I am, and most of the time I get Mr. Green, or Mario's clone," Luigi chimed in.
"To answer his first question everyone knows Mario silly," the lady said very matter of factly. "As far as Luigi's name lucky guess," she said with a smile.
"Sorry Mario and Luigi I can not reveal my identy to you just yet, Rosalina thought to herself. "At least it's nice to see both you are doing well and healthy even if Mario seems to have gotten clumsy lately," Rosalina thought with a smile. "For now I have to keep up this charade," she thought. "In due time everything will be revealed, on the bright side at least Luigi seems bravier," Rosalina was in the middle of thinking before she was interrupted.
"Hello," Luigi called out. "Luigi we need to pause for a moment," Mario said to his brother. "Be right back," Mario said to the lady spacing out.
"Luigi doesn't something seem off here?" Mario asked. "Maybe she knew my name that almost never happens even Bowser doesn't know my name and I knew him for almost 30 years," Luigi said. " Another thing doesn't she seem familar?" Mario asked. "Now that you mention it she kind of looks like someone we met," Luigi said deep in thought.
"You know what we have to do right?" Mario asked. "We leave her here by herself?" Luigi stated. "Mama Mia no we bring her with us to see the princess," Mario said. "My second guess was going to be that," Luigi said kind of embarrassed. "I guess you are use to going second," Mario teased Luigi.
"Good news we are going to see the princess, who may or may not be captured by now," Mario said. "To be traveling with the famous Mario brothers, it's an honor," the lady replied. "So what's your name?" Luigi asked. "My named it's Rosa, pleased to make your aquatince," Rosa replied.
"Did you just get a feeling of déjà vu?" Mario asked Luigi. All Luigi could do was shake his head in response.
Rosalina a.k.a Rosa has joined the party.

"So which way should we go?" Rosa asked. "The quickest way would be the warp pipe by my house but that was destroyed when you crashed into it," Mario replied. "What do you think Luigi?" Rosa asked. When no one responded, she was about to get mad until Luigi came running out with a bag. "Thought we could use some supplies before we left," Luigi replied as he was showing the contents of his bag to Rosa and Mario.
Contents of the bag:
5 Mushrooms (restore 10 HP)
5 Refreshing Herbs (cures poison)
2 1-up Mushrooms (revive a fainted party member with half of there HP)
100 coins
"It's better then nothing," Mario replied. "So where should we go?" Mario asked. "We can take the left path its a bit longer," but it give us a chance to explore and get to know one another Mario said. "No no no that path has a scary cave and then there's all those people," Luigi said. "We can go right it's shorter theirs not as many goombas and it will get us to Toad Town quickly. "What about the center path? Rosa asked. " Well it does lead through the woods maybe bump into a few people there," Mario responded. "Yeah there also all those goombas with wings and spiked hats, and there's that creepy cottage," Luigi said shaking. "Well where do we go? everyone asked confused?
Choose your path (they all lead to the same place but each path offers different options)
A.) Right path (quick easy and few enemies but low chance of at side quests appearing.)
B.) Center path (eniemes are a little stronger and a little more numerous. Better chance of running into a side quest and slight chance of a good item.)
C.) Left path (eniemes are numerous but side quests are defentetly available. Also a chance to explore a 2 floor dungeon which may hold something rare but at the very least something really good. The longest of the three paths)
Side quests
Right now they are defeat a certain number of eneimes, give an item, or answer a question correctly. As you can expect since these are simple quests the rewards are simple but at the very least there's extra exp., extra coins, and an item or two.
As the story goes on they start to get complicated but the rewards are so much better including getting each characters ultimate weapon and ultimate skill just to name a few.
You can only do one path now later in the story (After ch.1 the warp pipe from Toad town to Mario's house will be rebuilt and you can go down the other paths)
