"The Frozen Hearth eh?" Varren says, standing and stretching. "Sounds good. I'm going to go get a room and something to eat. Come find me when you're ready to share. I can't exactly help you if I don't know what I'm doing. Unless of course you're ready to share now... No? It would certainly expedite matters."

"I'll make this simple. It would seem that the real Odette has likely fallen into a coma, and has been hidden and is being guarded by her stalker, who happens to be a very powerful vampire and the College's current Master Wizard. While he's away from the College on an expedition, I've decided to impersonate Odette, and buy Avenicci time to investigate and search for her, since we're hoping to find her soon. All I'm asking is for you to join the search," Lorelei said.

"Interesting," Varren replies, genuinely curious. "But, and pardon me saying so, wouldn't it make things much easier to simply kill the vampire? That way you don't have to worry about him returning."
Varren resumes his seat.

"Until now, we've known we have no chance of being able to kill Cor. He's too powerful for Avenicci to defeat alone, and because things are complicated, it's a bad idea for me to fight Cor. Now that you're here, things are different, but he's all the way at Pale Pass right now. In the time it would take to find him, we can probably find Odette and get out of here, making this route potentially much quicker," she said. "And besides, if all else fails, you two can just kill him when he returns."
But you should know very well that we need to end this quickly. Unless you aren't as concerned for your friends as you say you are.

Varren concedes the reasoning in her words. "Very well, you make a good point. I'll help search."
He rises to his feet and begins walking towards the door. Now... If I were a crazed night stalker, with a possession I desperately coveted, where would I hide it? It would have to be somewhere close by, as I wouldn't want to risk transporting it where people could see... But I'd also want to be able to see it myself, every time I came home...
He suddenly halts in his tracks, and turns back to the woman in the chair. "This may be a silly question... But are there any old ruins beneath the College grounds? Catacombs? Anything like that?"

That night, Siegemund,Adarya, and Nephle snook out. "You said you saw movement beneath the college?" Nephle asked, preparing her bow and dagger. "Positive, I'm hoping we can find one or more recruits to venture down there with us." Siegemund replied, peering over the edge.
There was nothing moving now, but he squinted. He could make out some sort of small opening. "Bingo." He whispered. Hopefully, someone would come, or the three would have to venture down there themselves.

"Thank you Potema," Hircine said to his loyal vessel. "As you can see I took the liberty to get you and Lydia some going away presents, Hircine said to his children. First for you Lydia here take this," Hircine said while handing some items to Lydia.
As Lydia began to examine the items she realized she received a scaled set of armor which included gauntlets, armor, boots and a helmet. "Thank you dad this is more then I can ever ask for," Lydia said while hugging Hircine. "There are a couple of other items I have for you," he said while holding a pair of Elvin swords. "These are for me," Lydia said with much surprise. "Yes take these swords and use them well my daughter," Hircine said to Lydia was outfitted in her new armor. "Now my son it is time for your gifts," Hircine said to Fransis.
"Here this set of items is for you son," Hircine said as he gave Fransis the set. "Thank you dad you sure know to send out your child in style," Fransis said while examing his set of steel plated items; armor, gauntlet boots and helmet. "How is it my son?" Hircine asked. "It feels good a little heavier then I used to but I will be fine," Fransis said. "I have a very special weapon for you son," as Hircine pulled a weapon from the bag. When Fransis and Lydia saw the weapon they were both in awe.
"Dad this this is your spear," Fransis said holding the Spear of Bitter Mercy. "If you are to be my champion son you should be wielding a weapon befitting that title," Hircine told his son. Fransis was speechless to be holding a spear of such value in his hand. "Son the weapon and armor sets are just the beginning I still have a few other items for you and Lydia," Hircine said handing them a pair of capes. The capes were made of plain cloth and were about as black as midnight, on the back of Lydia was a white doe, and on the back of Fransis was a golden wolf.
"Good you two look ready for just about anything," as Hircine was talking to Fransis and Lydia had there complete set of armor on and their weapons by their side. " Before you leave Potema come forth," Hircine commanded Potema as she made her way to the front. "Potema is to go with you two and act as my vessle understand," Hircine called out to the three whom were nodding yes. "Also here Fransis take this with you,Hircine said while tossing a coin purse at Fransis. " Geez dad how did you get to be so rich," Fransis said while him and Lydia were examing the nearly endless coin purse. "As a dedric prince mortals are always looking to offer me valuables and gold hoping that would satisfy me," said Hircine very nonchalantly while motioning for Fransis to join him.

"Lydia and Potema go make your final preparations I like to have a word with my son," Hircine told Lydia and Potema. "Fransis take this he said while holding a beautiful goods ring with a tiny white stag embedded on it. "This belonged to your mother," Hircine said. "When the time is right use it to propose to Lydia," Hircine said while Fransis blushed. "Don't even try to hide your feelings about her from me, I watched you two grow up together," Hircine said while elbowing Fransis. "I seen the way you two act around one another and how you two were meant for one another," Hircine said.
"Dad there's nothing to hide me and Lydia already know we love one another," Fransis said. "So that's what mortals call it nowadays," Hircine said to his blushing son. "No dad it wasn't anything like that," Fransis said sweating profusely. "That is what you mortals refer to just kidding with you my son," Hircine said with a rare smile.
As Potema and Lydia finished with preparations, Fransis pocketed the ring and joined them. Now my children the hour is at hand," Hircine said while talking to the group. "Your journey starts now but before you go just know I am always there watching you and I will always be your father," Hircine told them. As everyone made their final goodbyes, Potema just nuzzled Hircine, Lydia gave him a hug and kiss, and Fransis and Hircine shared a hug. "My son I shall be seeing you soon about that shout I was telling you about," Hircine whispered to Fransis.
"Are you coming Franny?" Lydia asked to Fransis. "Yeah I am coming bye dad be seeing your later," as Fransis ran into Lydia's embrace. "This is for good luck on our new journey," as the two shared a brief but passionate kiss before the group disappeared into the trees.
"Good bye my son and daughter, please come back alive," Hircine said as he made his way out for his morning hunt.

Eventully, Siegemund grew tired of waiting and called it off. It was probably nothing any way, and he had better things to do. Like, traveling around Skyrim helping out civilians with their daily problems. True, he could wait all day to be accepted into some magic school, but he snorted at the thought.
He was a warrior, not some apprentice, or whatever they wished to call it. He returned to the inn, planning out where he would go.

Siegemund hoped the inn had a library. Not that he enjoyed reading, but because he was bored. Halfway on his search for one, Nephle handed him a book. He raised it up. "What's this?" He questioned, reading the title.
"I brought it from one of the merchants here. Apparently it's a good read for those interested in social class warfare." She said. "I could have brought it myself." Siegemund answered, attempting to hand the book back over to her. "Keep it." He ignored her words and handed the book over. It was promptly shoved back to his side.
"Fine." He said after a minute of shove the book. "The Banes conflict." He read. "Welcome to the Varenian isles." He continued. "Is this an adventure book?" He asked. Whoever wrote this had an amazing imagination. Nephle shrugged. "It's suppose to detail heavy discussion on warfare between three factions, and how a young hero and his friends rise up. It's gray and grey mortality where the author heavily lampshades that the people the boy kills, have families and its affect on them." She explained perfectly.
"No good vs evil? Good, I'm kinda bored of reading that type of crap. Thanks for the book, I'll keep in mind to buy you something." Siegemund smiled slightly. Nephle shook her head. "I'm fine. You're the one who looked like he would fall over dead any moment." She smirked at the end. Siegemunds smile dropped into a scowl. "On second thought, never mind." He said.
"Have you seen Kira?" Nephle suddenly asked. Siegemund shook his head. "No, but I was just about to ask that." he answered.
"I assume she is probably building something with the rest of the children. You'll look for her right?"
Siegemund placed his book down. "Of course, she had a mischievous grin on her face the last time. I've done enough exploring to know when something bad is about to happen. You should get some sleep, you seem like you're the one whose about fall over." He replied.
"I... Guess you're right. Don't get yourself hurt you hear? I'm not paying for a temple run." She joked.
"Nah, I can withstand even the breath of mighty dragons. Shall I capture you and take to the skies?"
"That won't be necessary, dragon."
"You're right. Kira is obviously in another castle. Best you stay here."
Adarya walked up to them, disbelief on her face. "I feel like I'm watching a horrible play." She told them.
Siegemund stared at her with boredom. "I feel like I'm staring at the product of a witch." he said nonchalantly.
"Aren't we all?"

"Yes, there are ruins, called the Midden. We already searched there and found nothing. But then again, since you're obviously part of the Guild, so you must know a thing or two about hiding," Lorelei said as she thought about the rumors she had heard recently regarding someone entering the Midden, "There are two trapdoors that you can use to reach the ruins. One in the courtyard, another inside the Hall of Countenance. If you think you might be able to find something down there, then you're welcome to try."

"Ooh..." You could almost see a glimmer in Avenicci's eye as he stopped by a display case in the now seemingly empty Hall of Attainment. "I'll see you later."
He walked away as he heard the door on the first floor creak before walking down the stairs to greet a student.
"Do you know a Breton, tallish, pale, has the eyes of unholy hellspawn?" He asked the female Bosmer in front of him.
"N-N-N-No..." She stammered as she clutched a book tightly to her chest. "D-D-Do you m-mean C-Cor?"
"Yes, him." Avenicci nodded as he grabbed a piece of paper from his pocket. "He's wanted on the suspicion of him dealing Moon Sugar."
"I didn't know..." The girl trailed off before turning back towards Avenicci. "He often disappears. I-I assumed it was for, y-you know, r-r-research."
"Do you have any idea where he often visited? I'm supposed to seize any contraband he might have." He continued to question the Wood Elf before shu suddenly lowered her head and stormed away.

"Good, I think I'll do that," Varren replies with a slight grin. What was with this woman? Something about her brought out the narcissist in him. Hmm... Is that the right word? Human language is all so full of double-words, it's enough to make a lesser elf's head spin. Well Whatever, close enough. Too long around miss mysterious though would likely not be good for his health. Still, if it means a better shot and finding Kya and Elena...
"Do you know your way around this Midden? I may be decent at finding hiding spots, but it won't do us much good if I get hopelessly lost."

"It's very simple, making it hard to get lost in the Midden. Still, I'll go with you, and show you everything. It's normally off-limits anyway, but since I'll be with you no one will question it," Lorelei stood up, and took a moment to make sure she had a dagger with her, before walking to the door. "We'll use the entrance in the courtyard."

"Good to have friends in high places, eh?" Varren remarks, only half sarcastically, as he follows the Archmage out into the Courtyard. "I do have one last question, if you don't mind. I've hunted a few vampires in my time, even Masters, but... Well, not to be blunt, but from what you've described, this guy is on a different level. And I don't mean power. I don't think I've ever heard of a vamp behaving this... Erratically. What's his damage?"

Siegemund ducked under another swing from a criminal, and landed a punch to his stomach. He shoved the bandit into the three and took the bag of seeds from his waist. "Next time don't Steal from people who are traveling." Siegemund sighed. "I-it was only in good name!" The bandit protested, charging.
"Wrong stance." Siegemund said, slashing downwards. The bandit crumpled to the ground dead. He checked the man for any Septims and found about 400. He took that bag too. "Well, off to the merchant." Siegemund said simply, turning back to the path leading to the merchant.
After returning the seeds and the bag, which the merchant refused, Siegemund pocketed the bag along with his pay. "I'm liking this mercenary business." He thought aloud, returning to Whiterun. Tonight, they were leaving out again to Brittleshin pass.

"He's a creepy stalker who has kidnapped his object." Avenicci answered as he opened the door to the courtyard. "So, do you have any good vampire hunting tips?"

The sound of a body hitting the cave floor resounded through the underground tunnel. "I didn't know you could fall that many times in the dark Siegemud."came Nephle's amused snort. The boy wished he could have seen her in the dark.
"Yeah, well who's fault is it for not lightning the lanterns like I asked?" He retorted, rubbing his knee. This damn cave had probably scraped his knee more times than he could count. "I hate my life." He muttered quietly.
"I love it too." Kira chortled. His annoyed glare was unseen in the dark. How the bloody oblivion was neither of them tripping. "Laugh it up." He said. He got back to his feet only to trip another time.
What remained of his good mood turned to rage.
"Raaaaaaaaaaaaaghhh!" Was an echoing scream heard for nearly a mile

"Vamp hunting tips? Don't let them hit you, and stick the pointy end in first," Varren replies sarcastically, as the Archmage kneels in front of a wooden trap door, not too far from the Sleeping Quarters, ironically enough.
"Really isn't much more to it than that. I'm still perplexed though. All the Vamps I've seen have mostly kept to themselves, only bothering to venture out to feed or slaughter a farmer or three. They aren't exactly the most social of creatures. So why is this guy so different? Even before this obsession of his, he was still a member of the College right? And if he had been turned while already a member, why didn't he leave? Did his obsession make him stay? I just can't figure it out. And... That truly bothers me. Knowing your enemy is half the battle. Going in blind puts me at a severe disadvantage. Still... This Vamp is clearly different, he's far too bold. And that's reason enough to put him down."
