"Before we begin, Lydia you are free to stay here with me, Fransis, and Potema," Hircine said while staring into the forest. "Dad you don't understand... wait you said she can stay," Fransis said in shock. "You should know by now I don't need as much sleep as mortals Fransis," Hircine responded. "As soon as there was light I explored my domin to see why the bandits would trespass here," Hircine replied deep in thought. "I came across a village which was nothing but ruins, and then I knew why those bandits were after" Hircine countiued. "I knew right away you would plead for her to stay, so she can under one condition.
"See I told you there was a price," Lydia whispered to Fransis. "From this day forward you two are training partners," Hircine commanded ."See I told you people have him misunderstood, " Fransis retorted. "You two are to train once a day and become stronger, if anyone of you start to slack you both will be banished am I clear," Hircine stated serouisly.
"Your the best dad, thank you for letting her stay," Fransis said while jumping for joy.
"Mr. Hircine thank you for letting me stay," Lydia said very softly. "Don't thank me child he's the one you should be thanking," Hircine said pointing to Fransis. "Even if I tried to lead you back home he would just through a fit and make my life miserable," Hircine sighed.
As Lydia went to thank Fransis a certain wolf made her way to Hircine. "Are you Hircine?" Potema asked confused. "Are you the same Hircine who onced renounced mortals and there needs?" Potema gasped. "I am still the same Hircine," he said to Potema. While shaking his head he just said out loud "If only the other daderic princes could see me now. " The great Hircine adopting two mortal children," he sighed.
Lydia and Fransis walked up to Hircine and they both said, "Dad when does our training begin,"
(End flashback)
Present time
"It ceartinly, has been a fun 13 years right Lee," Fransis said. "It sure has, who knew having a dedric prince as a parent could be so fun," Lydia smiled. "Better hurry up pops wouldn't wait forever," as Fransis and Lydia were finishing their breakfast.
"What is taking you two so long Hircine needed you two hours ago," Potema yelled inside the cottage. "So Lydia are you ready to go meet dad?" Fransis said holding out his hand. "Why of course I am Franny," said Lydia as she grasped Fransis hand and the two exchanged a brief kiss before going to see Hircine outside.

"I know exactly what Guild she joined. I talked to her a few years after she left."
Lorelei sat down and looked over the note again. She seemed to be thinking about what she would do to help, but on the inside, she was really wondering if there actually was anything she could at all. She needed to stay at the College as long as she could, or until she found Odette.
"So, she sent you here to ask me for help. The fact that the entire Guild disappeared is quite...troubling, to put it lightly. Is there anything you noticed that I don't already know about from this letter?" she said as she gave the note back to him.

He slipped the note back into his pocket. "Maybe," he says honestly. "But not much. Elena knew something was going to happen, even before this. For a week or so leading up to the disappearance, she was behaving strangely. She was nervous all the time, even jumpy. Paranoid. I'm ashamed I didn't notice the obvious signs earlier, given how close we were... Are. From what I've gathered- which is mostly pure conjecture mind you- I think she was afraid of something or someone manipulating their minds."
While the Archmage pondered that, Varren contemplated how much to tell her. He was loathe to reveal his hand so soon, but if he was going to earn her trust... He takes a deep breath. "I believe all of this has something to do with Lady Nocturnal and... Her saving me."
There. Let's see how she handles that. If she doesn't absolutely flip, then they might be getting somewhere.

"Ah, so you made a deal with Nocturnal," Lorelei said, not surprised at all. "It seems that the Daedric Princes are more than happy to grant us mortals a second chance at life lately. Sometimes, very literally."
I would know. One of those deals is the very reason I exist, and can be here today.
Lorelei stood up and walked over to the desk, where she found an old book that might contain some useful information. When she sat back down near the man, she started skimming through the book, while appearing to be deep in thought.
"This whole thing is very perplexing. Still, there's obviously an answer for why these things have happened, we just need to find it... Oh, and I'm afraid I never caught your name. I'm Odette," she said as she looked up from the book and waited for the man's reply.

Done sightseeing, Siegemind stepped back on the bridge, and stuffed the steel mask on his belt hook. What could possibly be moving down below a college. Nothing good of course. It would be foolish to explore alone though. He pondered over the recent snowstorm, and the elf stranger. In truth, every time he got near one of this three His mental alarms went off.
It was a creepy feeling, and worst of all, insane. It seemed impossible that he was going insane. He made his way back to the inn, slightly bored. The sight that greeted him was less than pleasant. Kira was bossing the other children around with a devilish grin. They were building...something.
Siegemund decided to leave it be. After all, he had quite the mischievous streak when he was younger. Of course, he didn't feel like himself. It felt as though he was becoming a different person all together. It wasn't odd to him in the least. He took a seat at one of the tables.

"Varren," he replies, smiling slightly. "Varren Summerset. It's a pleasure to meet you, Odette."
This woman was seriously hiding something. She reeked of the Daedra, though you'd have to be well acquainted with them to notice. He was tempted to tell her Nocturnal made the deal with him, not the other way around, but decided against it. It wouldn't be wise to reveal the aces in his sleeves just yet.

"I've never seen you this quiet." A figure took a seat at the table. Siegemund shrugged, he had his moments. He eyed the stranger wearily. The figure pulled down its hood, revealing it to he Adarya.
"What in the name of Oblivion are you doing here?" He asked roughly. Adarya smiled. "Keeping an eye on our misfits." Siegemund rolled his eyes, a snarky comment at his lips. "Of course mother, we won't trouble the good town folks."
Her smile soon turned into a scowl. "You have quite the mouth, don't you?" "I make sure to keep it sharp for such occasions." Siegemud drawled. He ignored the stare shot in his direction.
Whatever the children are building it wasn't good. "Hey, you kids should really stop that." They had built a minutiae tower tall enough to reach a high up painting. One of the boys made a rude gesture, and Siegemund growled.
"I'm going to throw you off Winterhold's bridge." He mouthed. The child stuck his tongue out in defiance. "You should really try being less mean, and more... nicer." Adarya commented.
"What has being nice ever gotten someone?"
A shrug. "Plenty of places."
"Don't start some type of peace loving rant. I swear I'll tune it out."

"Summerset... Hard to forget a name like that..."
While Lorelei's mind first went to jokes about how good of a catch Elena had made, it was mere moments later when a far more grim look appeared on her face. It was a look of recognition beyond just that of realizing the man before her was once the king of the Dominion, it was the recognition that came along with the remembrance a bloody battle that was waged on Solstheim. Now she knew, but what was it that made him so important to Nocturnal...?
"She really did give you a second chance at life...," Lorelei whispered, her words barely audible.

"Fransis and Lydia I am glad to see both of you even thought you are both late again," Hircine said. "Potema said it was important pops what is it all about?" Fransis asked.
After a long awkward pause Hircine turned towards Fransis and told him. "Fransis for the past 20 years I have watched you grow into the man you are today," Hircine said walking towards Fransis. "Lydia I have watched over you for 13 years and you have grown into a beautiful and strong lady," Hircine said as he was motioning for Lydia to come over. "As you both know I am one of the daderic princes and I really don't like to trifle in mortal affairs," Hircine said. "Yet I am glad to have taken both of you in," Hircine said in extremely rare moment. "We may not have blood in common but you will always be my children and I will always be your father," Hircine said while talking to his kids. "This is why children it pains me to say this but today you both have to leave today," Hircine told his kids.
Fransis and Lydia were shooked at the news and both of them asked "Why what did we do that so wrong?".
"Children you misunderstand me," Hircine said. "This is not a punishment but a journey you two must go on to save not just skyrim but the entire world. " Fransis as I told you were going to be my champion one day and today is that day," Hircine said. "Lydia you are to be his guardian and look after him, for you can see that was the reason behind your training," Hircine informed Lydia.
"I am stronger then mortals but there is a dark lord whose name is Sithis who wishes to return everything to the void," Hircine told his kids in a serouis tone. "Can't you just take care of him dad you are one of the most powerful people I know," Fransis said to Hircine. "I may be extremely powerful my son but compared to Sithis I might as well be a child," Hircine said. "Even the mighty Akatosh has fallen before his might," Hircine told them.
"So how are we suppose to stop something that makes you look helpless?" Fransis asked. "My son I guess its time to tell you about that nightmare you been having," Hircine said. "What about it?" Fransis asked Hircine.
"It is time I told you about the day I first met you 20 years ago my son," Hircine said

It was quite clear she had deduced his true identity, though Varren didn't react. He even pretended not to hear her, instead changing the subject. "So any ideas what could cause such a mass disappearance? I can say for certain it wasn't the Dread Lord, or the Brotherhood. I would have sensed their involvement. And, unless I'm missing something, that only leaves one of the other Princes. So why do you think the Princes would war with each other? Surely they have better things to do. Oh, and I'm not sure if it's related... But Jarl Silvertongue of Riften disappeared around the exact same time."
As he awaited her response, he leaned back in the chair, taking a look around the spacious chamber. It was quite nice, really. Must be good to be the Archmage.

"I'm not sure yet..."
Lorelei was so caught off guard by the recent revelations, it was easy to see that she was quickly getting flustered. There was nothing she could think of that would explain why Nocturnal would have brought someone Sithis killed back. It was so risky, what made him special enough to convince her to take such a gamble? Then again, it wasn't the first deal one of the Princes had made that she couldn't figure out. And even as she tried to ignore that, she really had no idea what could have caused the Guild's disappearance either.
Odette would know what to do, but I don't...

The Archmage is getting flustered... Interesting. While it was entertaining to watch her try to figure everything out herself, he wasn't that sadistic. Despite whatever his ex wife may say. "Do you think it would be possible to trace the source? The disappearance of over a hundred people... An event like that just doesn't pop up, without leaving behind residual energy. And if one of the Princes is involved, then in theory, it should be possible to find the leftover energy. Whenever a Daedric Prince, or some other being of comparable power enters Tamriel, they leave traces of their energy behind, almost like a shadow, if you will. Especially now that there is nothing to muddy the signal, since the Dragonfires are out. So-and this is only speculation of course- if we can find this shadow..."

But I can't leave here right now, and while I may have Odette's knowledge, I don't know even half the spells and tricks she does. I just can't do it, not with everything like it is. But how do I tell him that...?
"It's certainly possible..." she said, her voice showing hesitation despite her best efforts to hide it.

Varren's smile vanishes. Something was bothering him about this Archmage... She seemed too hesitant, too... How should he put it? Almost like a child filling his father's shoes at work, and praying he doesn't get noticed, or asked to reach something especially tall. It was almost like she was merely playing the role of the Archmage...
"Listen, Odette. I'm on something of a schedule here. If you can't help me, just say so, and I'll look somewhere else."

"I can help you, it's just that because of some strange circumstances here right now, I wouldn't be able to leave and go to Riften any time soon. Unless, someone would be willing to help me resolve these...issues, and quickly... Then I would be able to help you," Lorelei said.
This is a bad idea... I never should have said anything, what if he figures out what's really happening? I'm so stupid...

Ah, so that's it isn't it... Varren decides to play his hunch. "I'm not opposed to helping you, especially if it means you can help me in return. But let's be honest here... You aren't really the Archmage, are you?"

Before the panic began to set in, Lorelei swapped to a cold, but calm facade to hide her emotions. It was silent for a few minutes as she looked directly at Varren, her gaze truly icy, before she finally decided to speak. "And why would it matter if I'm not?"

He grins slightly, a very menacing grin. "Why, I don't suppose it would... As long as you can help me, then I really don't care who you are. You could be Mehunres Dagon himself for all I care, or even worse my ex, as long as you know your magic. Actually... On second thought, I would care if you were really my ex. She is one scary b***. Oh, and for future reference... I'm a little impervious to mean looks. It kinda comes with the territory of facing down assassination attempts for nearly two centuries."
Varren looks around the room, as a sudden thought strikes him. "This is usually the time I would propose a toast to our new friendship, but uh... I really don't think drinking Spriggan Sap is good for you. What do you do for food around here?"

It was on this same day 20 years ago that a young imperial woman holding a baby came to me asking a favor," Hircine told Fransis. "My son the woman was criticality wounded trying to protect her son from a werewolf that attacked her," Hircine stated. "At first I thought nothing of this woman's request,. " Yet shen she mention how this baby was something special I was courouis," Hircine told Fransis. "My son you were gifted with a great power," Hircine told Fransis. "A part of Akatosh spirit is inside of you and with that great power," Hircine explained to Fransis. After Fransis heard the story from Hircine he grew eerily silent. "Those dreams I had all along, were memories of my mom and me that night," Fransis said towards Hircine. After what Fransis said all Hircine could do was nood his head. "Let me ask you one thing, Why didn't you save her?" Fransis asked as he preceded to punch Hircine. "Why did you let her die?" Fransis said while he slumped to the ground crying. "Your a daderic prince you could have done something," Fransis said pounding the ground as Lydia went to comfort him. "You foolish son of my," Hircine yelled at Fransis while rubbing his arm. "Your mother was dying right in front of me and yet she pleaded I take you in," Hircine said towards his son. "Besides I am the king of the hunt and lord of the werewolves I can't save one from deaths door," as Hircine's tone softened. "Even if I could my son she would never be the same would you really want your mom to be a werewolf or worse a zombie," Hircine said while talking to his sobering son. Fransis as he was getting back to his feet with the help of Lydia and his dad Hircine replied by shaking his head no. "You see Fransis I might of met her for that brief period of time," Hircine said. "Yet in that brief moment she showed more bravery and guts then most mortals I have met," Hircine said to his son. At that moment Fransis couldn't help himself from hugging his dad while tears were coming out. "So this is what mortals refer to affection is," Hircine thought while returning the hug back to Fransis.
"Dad what type of power do I have from this Akatosh being?" Fransis asked. "Aww my son that is something that will have to wait but what I can tell you is that it's a special power called a shout," Hircine said to Fransis. "For now you two mortals.. actually you and Lydia are more then just mortals, you two are my son and daughter," Hircine said too his kids. "For now it is time for your journey to begin, but before you leave I have some parting gifts for you and my daughter," Hircine said motioning towards Potema.
As Potema made her way while dragging the bag Hircine ordered her to get.

"You could take your chances and eat something that you see around the College, but you never know what people have done with the food around here. Several of the apprentices work on some very strange projects. I would go to the Frozen Hearth if I were you," she said as she continued to act very cold.
And I thought I was egotistical and arrogant. This guy is already getting on my nerves.
