Okay... So I um... Kinda just had a moment in Skyrim. I um... I don't think I'm hallucinating, and I'm fairly sure I'm not tripping... So um... You guys know I'm playing Skyrim on my PC with mods, right? Well um... I'm in the middle of getting the Elder Scroll(Dragon) and I'm traveling through Blackreach... You know, the land of giant glowing mushrooms? And I find a dungeon I've never seen before, a dungeon called The Silent Catacombs or something, within Blackreach. I travel through, and come across poor Falmer slaves, which I honestly don't remember being in the vanilla game. And as I head back into Blackreach, I find myself on a bridge between two towers. I'm surrounded by brainwashed Falmer Servants almost immediately, and I turn towards the door, thinking to find a better place to make my stand... Only to get a Fus Ro Da in the back. I then get up and turn around... And the Lord of the Rings is attacking me!!!!!!All I see is a giant dremora clad in full Daedric Armor with a Mace like twenty feet long bashing my skull in. Seriously, it was taller than a Frost Giant! .... And then I read its name. It says Sauron. Sauron. I immediately panic, as in full blown Silent Hill 2 panic. I have the game on Legendary! Legendary, AND modded! I'm only level 56!!! I don't want to diiiiie!!!!!! Aiieeeeeee! Those are some examples of my thought process at the time. So, of course, I turn and run with my tail between my legs, leaving poor Serana to fend off the horde of brainwashed slaves on her own. And he follows me!!! The Lord of the Rings follows me!!! I actually do manage to win, and he wasn't as tough as I first thought... Maybe a bit harder than your average Frost Giant. But still. Flipping Sauron. The only explanation is the LotR Weapons mod I've installed, but that's only supposed to add weapons... I did manage to get Sauron's Mace for my troubles, which is from the aforementioned weapon set, so that probably proves it... Unless I really am tripping. Alas, I was not able to loot the One Ring from his corpse...  |

Haven't watched not played LotR, but at least it wasn't an evil demon that can potentially take over your character, and stub them for a minute.

TES games have such a great modding community. To think that all of that is possible within Skyrim's engine, but the devs were to lazy to actually use all that potential. I wish I could play some of the mods.

I wish I could play some of the mods. Yeah, I know what you mean. A couple years back, Bethusda themselves actually released the Creation Kit to the public, which is what they themselves used to create everything in game. So while they may have been too lazy to do some of it themselves, at least the devs gave us the chance to do it. Some of the mods are downright incredible. From adding new lands, to changing the beginning, to allowing the player to travel to other Provinces, the versatility is mind blowing. Now that I have Skyrim on PC, I can understand why people pay so much money for a gaming PC. One of the most popular mods is Faalskar, which adds a new continent with over 50 hours of new gameplay, dozens of new quests, armor, weapons, and items, and is fully voiced with professional level VAs. It even has it's own Soundtrack, and it fits within TES lore. The creator of that mod actually got a job working on the much anticipated game Destiny. |

Apparently, one of the programmers on the Destiny team played Skyrim a lot, and after playing Faalskar, the mod creator was hired over the phone. I guess it's pretty lucky one of the Destiny Programmers plays Skyrim, but considering how many people play the game worldwide, it's not that unlikely he'd get a call. The mod is just that good, and the guy who made it is one hell of a Programmer. |

I just have all these projects going on lately w/ the other RPs and the cyoa. Also for whatever reason its just really hard for me to get into this RP despite the reboot of my character.
Maybe I will get a spark once it pick up.
