Hello, and welcome the TES RP discussion topic! This will be used for a variety of things, such as lore and questions.
Skyrim: The last bastion for man, and the last truly free province in Tamriel. It's borders are mysteriously protected by 'The Wall', a great barrier of light built by the tears and hopes of the fallen gods, in a last ditch effort to stop Sithis from totally wiping out Mortalkind. The Wall has halted the advance of the Dread Lord's legions thus far, but how long it will last is unknown. Although, while the Wall prevents hoards of demons from invading Skyrim, it also makes entering Skyrim quite difficult for anyone.
Summerset Isle: The remaining High Elves now reside in a great underground fortress, known only as 'The Citadel'. Here, the last of the elves search desperately for a way to defeat Sithis once and for all.
Cyrodill: Once the seat of the Septim Dynasty, the capital of Tamriel is now host to legions of demons and cultists, and ruled by the Listener, the Avatar of Sithis.

I'm going to do some research on Sithis. He's the only major deity I haven't done a ton of research on.

Quick update on Dovahzul. As most of you are aware, Dovahzul is the language of the dragons in Skyrim and I've been trying to implement that font on this site. So here's the thing. I can instruct the site in the CSS to use the font. But I can't force your individual browsers to use the font. You have to download the font yourselves on your computer. Here is the download link: www.thuum.org/downloads.phpIt's a little bit down the page, under Dragon Language Number Font. Also, from here on out(starting this Saturday), I'm going to have regular 'Scout Updates' in this topic. Scout Updates are basically me playing Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind, and posting interesting locations or lore I come across. I may even see if I can do a youtube video or two.

So how exactly do we use the font within a post?

So how exactly do we use the font within a post? I'm not entirely sure yet. But, I believe it will be selectable like all the other fonts, when I update the site and you download the file. But don't quote me on anything yet. I'll get back to you.

I may or may not be able to download the font on my computer. However, I do have a list of words in dragon language that I can use, so that will probably be what I use instead.

I know I won't. Hope it doesn't stop me from doing specific things.

Sorry guys, but I can't do it. I tried getting the dragon font to work, but I can't, and there's only so much others can help me with. I will try to learn how to do it later, but for now, I have other priorities. Sorry.

Oh. I just realized something. Golurk, your character is a descendant of the blacksmith and the steward in Whiterun, right? Adrianne and Provencci?
Wait... You mentioned Adrianne in your last post, despite how many centuries have passed.
...... I smell time travel.

No. My character is from Cyrodiil. Adrianna is his sister who will probably never be used. His background ad family directly tie into the CYOA. Depending on what happens in that, he may or may not turn out to be a certain character's descendant.
Anyways, I just finished with a certain greatly overpowered armor set for the CYOA. It's going to have a catch though. Anyways, now to get bak to some more research.

Never mind, I prefer the simple background compared to be a descendent of Someone famous.

So GX if you haven't decided what to do yet, Lorelei could help Bastin out in his hunt for Auriel's Bow. I mean she probably knows something about it's history with her past, and I haven't decided where Bastin is right now yet anyway.

Hey, SMEXy-sama, now that you're done with your character application, you can post in TBtP.

Don't forget.
Now, how does this sound?
Suppose a certain mortal proposed a certain agreement with a certain Daedric Prince that would increase both of their standing. The Daedric Prince would be in direct control of the power given to the mortal, and the Daedric Prince needs te mortal as a conduit of his power in order to work around barriers in place. Now, this certain mortal could easily be disposed of in order to gain a better conduit. I have already thought of a certain workaround to that, certainly, which would create a nice reversal of power, or there are others that are certainly more lame.
Anyways, that's the interesting plot point I thought of in simplified form.

Would said certain mortal also ask for his dead fiance back?

Maybe.
A Daedric Prince certainly could not do such a thing unless certain prince has a certain fiancée in his possession. Though that would be impossible unless the certain fiancée isn't actually dead.

Well then I suppose it would make thing interesting.
Also just to clarify, how do the shards infuse into the person?
