Who does this Rex guy think he is? Maybe if he'd gotten off his ass and helped, Celeste wouldn't be dead. He hasn't earned the right to any supports.

And you couldn't even get two Vanya/Rakim supports if you wanted to. That's not how it works.

Info on Support Bonuses
Units will receive support bonuses when they fight next to an ally they currently have a C rank or higher support with. They will also receive support bonuses from that ally when paired up with them. When not paired up, the unit will always receive the highest possible support bonus available. When paired up, the unit always receives the support bonus of the paired unit.
Support Bonuses are as follows
C Support
Hit +5
B Support
Hit +10 Damage +1
A Support
Hit +15 Damage +2 Crit +5
S/X Support
Hit +20 Damage +3 Crit +10

But on a serious note, what happened with the kids on Ryner's route? Did you just go with whoever people were highest with or whatever? Or not give them kids? 'Cause I'm not above asking really nice if we can go back and actually finish the last chapter of the original.

For the most part it was either who they were highest with or who their "default" was. There's no actual defaults, it was just whoever seemed right in some cases.

I was still feeling it out, really. There wasn't anyone I really-really wanted, but I was going to go consider Lucinda for Tyner, but probably end up with Ryner/Frex and Myst/Lute instead of Myst/Frex. Lawrence/Lysea was fine, Ana/Whatshisname was good... Never decided for Pyrio or Marik or Wallace.

Desert tiles require two movement points to cross instead of one and will lower your evade. There are some classes that can cross desert tiles normally, however.
These classes are Bards, Thieves, and Mages.

If I had a dollar for every time a writer or aspiring one said that, I'd be pretty rich. We seem to devalue our work. Not sure if that's an anti-arrogance mechanic that becomes ingrained as time goes on for the majority or something else.
