B If Beastbane isn't locked to Beaststone it's a real solid ability in other news after beating my head against what to do next I think a repositioning is our only shot at not losing anyone this round but, that strategy isn't viable for victory in the long term I'd love someone else's input

Things seem to be happening in a different continuity on this thread. I'm confused.

B D Yeah Crow's point is why I was hesitant to make a move there was no real way to not be hit by the Archeyeball and something else as far as I could see

Things seem to be happening in a different continuity on this thread. I'm confused. This is a sequel for a thing that never ended. These are skills for all the kids made back when no one else paid any attention to the thing. If it's not obvious, I'm pretty upset that the first thing I did was get someone killed. After this chapter, I think I'm going to drop out. So, yeah. Sorry. You're all just going to have to deal with having one less character to work with.

Well, looking at the numbers, Vanya could have survived two hits from normal Mogalls and Kimar could have survived two normal Mogalls and the Mauthe Doog. The only real danger was the Arch Mogall, which wouldn't have been too hard to get out of range of. The Doog was pretty weak and could have been ignored when deciding loss/gain. It probably would have been best to reposition to the southwest, using the trees for cover and placing specifically Vanya in a position where she could counter attack the enemy Mogalls.
There's lots of ways to make moves. So that one turn could have been handled a lot of ways. But a battle is more than just one turn. The turn before certainly affected things as well.

The only real danger was the Arch Mogall, which wouldn't have been too hard to get out of range of. It has 1 more move than a mogall. There was a mogall next to it. It was impossible to move anywhere that couldn't be hit by both a mogall and the arch mogall to bait either out. It was impossible for Kimar to get in range to move up to the mogall and hit it first. The only winning move would have been to have Vanya one-shot the mogall. But I mixed up which was Vanya and which was Celeste, so **** me, this is my fault.

No use in getting stuck in the past. Time to move on~
