Yeah, time to move on. The chapter's done. So am I.

Dewwwd. Don't set a precedent for dropping out after getting a character killed. If you don't want to play anymore just say so.

I didn't plan to join in the first place. I'm still... sad about the original ending. And right in the middle of a fight, no less. This just feels like a sign.
How do I describe it? It's like you're playing a really great game and enjoying it, you're partway through, but then you lose the disc or whatever and you can't ever replace it. So you start the sequel and the first thing that happens is an un-fixable mistake that screws you over. Permanently.

I mean...you didn't lose the first game. It just stopped. And you didn't want to continue it, so I made a sequel instead. With maps. And updated skills and stats. And child units.

You're right. I am... and was... just being pissy. And I know it. I don't think you really understand how upset I was when it first ended, though! Even if I was trying to be supportive at the time.
Just ignore me and let me have my little tantrum. You know I'll probably start voting again as soon as it gets stalled for whatever reason.

Alright, y'know what? Fine.
You imply we should be aggressive, it horribly backfires and bites us in the ass. Fine. Enemy attack ranges get overlapped so it's literally impossible to make a safe play. Fine. Enemy completely ignores the guy with provoke to kill the weak ally instead. Fine! Be completely blasé about it, whatever!
in the end, it is my fault. I didn't think you'd start a new story with a new system and new characters with "one-mistake-you-lose," so I was careless. And now everyone has to suffer for my not paying attention. And as much as I want to mope about that, **** it. Instead, everything from here on has to be perfect. I am going to take every map, formation, challenge, and mechanic you throw out, systematically dismantle them, and shove their desiccated remains back in your face. And I'm not going to enjoy it. But I'm still going to do it, because I am a spiteful son of a *****.

I edited my post because I changed the story.

To be fair, though. Having a dead character early on raises the stakes for the rest of the game. Also, opens the door for whatever undead/frankenallies/time screwing/ghost companion shenanigans you want to get up to.

Yep. I was gonna start it again, but Crow didn't want to and he was the only voter at that point, so I made a sequel.

Oh. That's unfortunate. So the sequel skips ahead?

Oh. That's unfortunate. So the sequel skips ahead? Yep. It's approximately twenty years ahead in the future. The Great Demon was released from its seal, but was trapped in Lux where Arc's brother, Alexander, duels it eternally. Sadly, it's still summoning monsters and killing the world though. But much slower than it normally would. But still doing it.

I finished editing that post now.
Info on Preparations
I'm not going to be giving you options every time we get to the preparations screen because I'll start expecting you guys to know what they are. Generally, you can support with any character you want. There are a few exceptions when it comes to S Ranks, but otherwise you're free to build relationships between whatever characters you like. There's even an X Rank for non marital relationships that will affect the units epilogue.
When it comes to weapon training, you can train whatever weapons a character has to the next level. Characters with the Discipline ability will go up two levels when training as well.
I'll usually give you options for shopping, but sometimes I'll shorten it to "Basic Weapons" as an option. This includes all Bronze status weapons and first level spells/staves.

Well that damn sucks for him. Hopefully he doesn't know it was all for naught. I'll give it a read again, since I haven't been active for the CYOAs over here tbh.
