Interesting. Already just from the status we can determine some important key points.

First, if you look at the relationship ranks, you can see that Somnis isn't listed anywhere. We know we have a rank with her because that's where one of our skills come from, but she still isn't listed. She's in the status post, so clearly she exists and we aren't crazy. So my guess is that Somnis is in fact going to rank up based on story missions like Morgana in Persona 5.

Next up, we have names. Now, we can see that Raine and Freya do actually have the same last name. This means it's entirely possible that they could still be sisters, but even more so, it confirms they're somehow related. After all, you don't need to be sisters to have the same last name.

Furthermore, we can see Buttons and Avalon have the same last name. As such, we can probably assume they're related. Crow made a post earlier mentioning cousins, so it seems highly likely these two will be cousins.

Now then, on to the most interesting of my theories. Under the list of names, we can see someone who has mever been there before. Dean. This is a completely new name. Not only this, but Dean doesn't show up in the ranks. Following our earlier assumption, we can probably say that Dean is an important plot character and his ranks will come naturally from progressing the story. However, things get much more interesting from there.

If you look at our lists, you'll notice one particularly important character from the first Dating Sim is missing. Nowhere in the info we have does the name Dogachu appear nor any mention of a dog. My theory is that Dean is actually Dogachu from the original Dating Sim. Dogachu was clearly something more than just a dog. He could do strange things that were inexplicable, such as driving a car. There was a clear mystery as to Dogachu's true identity. I believe that Dogachu is no longer a dog, but rather a person with that same mysterious identity and he will be the secret link that pulls this entire story together.

But that's just my theory. It might be wrong.

And before you start assuming the order's significant, that was done entirely randomly.

Pre-emptive theorycrafting!

No, you shouldn't assume Freya and Jimmy are plot-important because they were choices. Natsumi and Buttons are plot-important because you chose them, and those 4 were options because they're the juniors.

Where is Dogachu???
