The Dating Sim: Remastered

Leia jumps for solid ground.  She manages to get one foot on the edge, barely, and starts to slip.  Kiran reaches out and grabs her, tugging her up to solid ground.

"I... I can help!" Natsumi calls out.  She raises her free hand, waving her rod.  "Come!  ShikiGAH!"

She's cut out by another shower of sand, followed by an Arcadia.  That long-legged beauty drops onto Natsumi, bounces, then falls into the web herself.  Yep, she's stuck.  Natsumi reaches over and tries to pull her free, but they're too far apart.  She ends up just poking Arcadia's foot a few times.

One of the moles goes for a strand, but Tai shoots at it.  It keeps going, but Leia bashes it with the baseball bat.  It dies before it can make the cut.  These things aren't so tough!

The two larger bugs decide to remind you they're here.  One runs up and slashes Tai.  His injuries are starting to add up.  The other claws at Kiran.  He doesn't seem too badly hurt.

The five remaining moles all slice through web strands.  But Kiran realizes something.  When there's only a few strands left, maybe they'll swing into the wall and be able to grab it?  That hope fades as the web starts to stretch and tear.  Natsumi shrieks as she and Arcadia suddenly drop.  The ruined web bounces and flings around, leaving them dangling lower than before, now cocooned and helpless.  Natsumi gets flipped upside down, giving her her first look of what's below her.  "Ah...  Ahhhh..."  She whimpers loudly.  Her armor flickers, the fades back to her normal swimsuit.  She closes her eyes and screams.  "Y-you can... do it...!"  There's a noticeable crack in her voice.

Only four anchors are left, and five moles...!  But maybe it's not hopeless.  Maybe.  Tai and Leia are still fighting.

(C) Defend
(D) Retreat
(E) Kiran feels left out.  Jump into the web, too!
(F) Screw it, cut the anchors yourself.
(G) Jump on Natsumi/Arcadia and try to trick one of those spitty-bugs to shoot it with acid!  That would help.  Probably.

B.) Hmm could we actually Spotlight the web or how about this.


Spotlight on Tai and somehow get the moles to focus all there attacks on Tai somehow.

Or Spotlight on Leia and see if Leia can do her scroll thing again where they all attack her.

Tai yells at Natsumi to put her armorback on. Natsumi tries do do as Tai asked, but it's like her armor keeps disappearing whenever she summons it.

"The Hell is this!?" Arcadia screams as she squirms.

Tai opens fire on one of the weakened moles.  Leia hefts her bat and bashes another as soon as it pokes its head out.  Both of them die surprisingly easily.

"Don't worry, we're going to be fine!" Natsumi assures Arcadia.  "Kiran!  Th-that one!  Hit that one, Kiran!"

"Gotcha!"  He summons a magic box out of nowhere, disappearing inside.  Several pale-blood swords materialize and stab into it.  It swings open, revealing a very-dead mole monster.  Kiran steps out from one of the shadowy cave openings.  "Ta-dah!  What d'ya think, Arcadia?"

The bugs scramble around.  One shoots a glob of acidic green goo at Leia, but she manages to duck it.  The other leaps at her, slashing her with its sharp talons.  She can keep going.  The acid on Tai finally wears off with one last sting of pain.

The surviving two moles hop out of the ground and slice two more anchors.  The hanging web snaps and splits into two parts.  Arcadia swings one way, hanging from one of the last two strands.  Natsumi screams as she swings in a slightly different direction and crashes into the wall, held up by the other strand.  The force of crashing into the stone sends her other shoe flying off.  She looks terrified, but takes a deep breath.  Her armor flickers back on.  "H-help her!" she yells.  "I've done this before, I'll be fine!  I... I won't ever forgive you if you let her get hurt!  E-even...  Even if I have to haunt you!"

Kiran notices Natsumi's shoe is resting on a small ledge a few yards down, right between the two girls.  He couldn't see it in the dim lighting.  The outcrop is small, barely big enough for one person.  But if someone proficient were standing there, maybe they'd be able to catch one of them as they fell.  Maybe.

Two moles, two strands, two girls...

Kiran's not sure if they can kill them both in time.

(C) Defend
(D) Retreat
(E) Jump down there immediately!
(F) Tell Leia or Tai to jump down to play catch!  You'll risk letting one of the girls fall while you protect the other one!

(1) "I'll protect you, Arcadia!"
(2) "I've gotcha, Nat! You owe me for saving your cute li'l butt!"

Same think that's our best chance 

Kiran: I'll protect Arcadia!
Yes. Sorry, Arcadia. But Kiran's protecting you.

"Leia! There's a small ledge! You might be able to catch one of them!" Tai clutches his chest and takes a deep breath. "Kiran, we have to kill these bastards before someone takes a swim! Damnit! Natty, skull girl, y'all better hang on! F*** me if anyone else dies because of me!"

Arcadia shuts her eyes, then forces herself to look around. She looks like she wants to say something, but can't decide on what. She's clearly terrified.

"No... No one will die! I... I've got this..." Leia promises. She jumps down. She nearly slips off the ledge - it's little more than a small rock.

Kiran readies his wand. "Don't worry, Arcadia! I won't let anything near your thread! You hear me, Nat? I'm gonna protect her, no matter what! So you just worry about yourself!"

The bug-things act first. One sprays Kiran with that acid stuff. Kiran yells, but it doesn't seem to have done any permanent damage. The other leaps at Tai and slashes him. Small cracks are starting to appear in Tai's key, but it's not an immediate concern.

The moles leap out. Moment of truth. Kiran points at the one going for Arcadia's thread. "Check this out, Natty!" He summons a sword with a pale-blue aura and drops it into the mole. The mole's still moving, so Tai concentrates his fire to ensure it dies. That mole dies.

The other slices Natsumi's thread. Her cocoon falls, dragging her down.

Leia reaches out and tries to grab her. She manages to grab her, but the weight pulls her off-balance. She starts to fall, too... then throws her weight sideways. She presses against the wall and it gives way. Leia and Natsumi fall into a small, hidden tunnel in the side of the chasm and disappear from sight - but it's probably better than the pool of magma.

One mole left. You should be able to drop it before it can drop Arcadia... Just concentrate your fire the same as that last mole and everything will be fine, right?
