"Somnis..." Kiran begins. Katie and Fox don't like the tone of his voice and decide it's probably time to give them some privacy. They hop into the portal. "You have so much explaining to do. You can do it over the dinner you seriously owe me."
"OK, that's fair," she says. She nuzzles Kiran a bit. "I knew you'd come for me."
"Ahem. Are you going to introduce me to your friend...?" Lamia asks.
"Oh right. Kiran, this is Lamia, the guardian of the Soul Labyrinth. Lamia, this is Kiran. My neighbor."
"Hello, Kiran."
"Hey. Nice to meet you."
"Would you like to join us for dinner?" Somnis asks.
"Oh... That's..."
"You could use a chance to rest after everything that's happened, right? Plus, it'd help me. A lot. Pleeeease?" Somnis gives her the puppy dog eyes.
"Well... I guess I can't refuse if you put it like that." Lamia says. "But let's slip out a different portal, alright?"
"K. Just a sec." Somnis quickly pokes her head through the portal, then pulls it back in. "I told them we're finding another route. Alright, let's go! Sorry, Lamia. Mind giving us a lift? My legs are reaaaally stiff."
Lamia giggles. "You just want to ride me, don't you? Fine."
"It's so fun!" Somnis admits. "Come on, Kiran! Hop on."
As the three make their way through the labyrinth - Lamia moves quickly and confidently, as Kiran guesses he should expect of something called a soul guardian - Kiran has another chance to speak with them.
(A) So... How do you two ladies know each other?
(B) (flirt with Snake)
(C) I just wanted dinner. This is such a pain.
(D) Oh, yeah. Somnis! Your mom's gonna friggin' kill you.
(E) (nap)

"So, how do you two ladies know each other?" Kiran asks.
Lamia slows. "How... did we meet, Somnis?"
"......?" Somnis slowly tilts her head until it's resting at a disturbing angle. "I... I don't remember. We've known each other since..."
Lamia seems to be deep in thought. "...Huh..."
"...This isn't the time to think about this. The portals will be closing soon." Somnis kicks Lamia's sides like a horse.
"Ow! Somnis-!"
"Sorry, I got carried away..."
You reach a small, hidden portal up on the second floor. Kiran hops off and pokes it. "Huh. So, there's multiple places to get in and out of this place?"
"Oh, yeah. Tons," Somnis says.
"Good to know. Er... Hang on. Wait. Wait, wait, wait. Is... Lamia coming back with u-"
A loud ripping sound cuts Kiran off. Lamia is... shedding her skin. Like a snake. Oh. Of course. Duh. She pulls her upper torso out of the snake body, pulling a pair of legs free. She crawls forward a few feet, then staggers upright. She's still wearing the same tube top, a short skirt, and her silver circlet, though her hair has turned light-blue and drapes gently over her shoulders. From her appearance, you'd guess she's about your age. She takes a few steps forward, staggering side to side as she stumbles through the portal. Kiran and Somnis follow her and find her clutches a railing for support. "Ugh. Legs are such a pain..."
(A) ...Your turn for piggyback!
(B) Hey, since we're already trespassing. Wanna rob a clothing store and get her some new duds and some shoes? It's kind of a long walk home. And it's kinda cool out.
(C) Here, throw your arm over my shoulder until you get the hang of it.
(D) Ill find you a walking stick.

"Alright, your turn for piggyback!" Kiran says. He crouches down in front of her.
"...Huh?" Lamia looks at him with a confused expression.
"Oh, lucky! I'm kinda jealous." Somnis grins at her.
"But, what is... 'piggyback?'" Lamia asks.
"Oh. This," Kiran says. He scoops her up.
"Eek! A-ah, hey! What are you... No, don't... drop me...!" Lamia seems panicked.
"Then hold on tight!" Kiran says. Somnis walks over and positions Lamia's arms around Kiran's neck.
"Th-this really isn't necessary..." Lamia mutters. As soon as Kiran gets outside, though, she quickly changes her tune. "O-on second thought... You're pretty warm, and this outfit's... not really... So..." She grabs Kiran and clings on tightly. He can hear her breathing slowing down a bit. "S-so c-cold..." It is kind of chilly out, what with the 'barely dawn in September' thing. But it's not that bad. Then again, Kiran isn't barefoot in a skirt and tube top... Or maybe possibly cold-blooded?
Kiran soon finds he doesn't have the Proficiency to make it all the way home. Fortunately, Somnis steps up to take her off his hands - back - when he starts to get too tired. They take turns until they arrive. Somnis waves to Kiran, carrying Lamia off to her house. "I'll need to smooth things over with mom and do some stuff, so I'll be over this evening."
Kiran heads in, finding Dogachu with his face buried in his bag of dog food. He pulls his head out, chomping on some kibble, and gives Kiran two wags before going back to breakfast.
Kiran hears Somnis' mom freaking out through his window. "Somnis? Where the heck have you been? I've been calling and calling, and-"
"Sorry, Ma! I've been at my friend's house! Guess my phone kinda died. I was just having so much fun I didn't notice. Can she come in for breakfast?"
"H-hello..." Lamia says. She shivers.
"Oh..." Somnis' mom's motherly instincts override her anger. "Get her inside this instant, young lady! And get her some of your spare clothes while I cook her something warm. I swear, you..." Her voice fades as they move the party inside.
...Well, that worked out well. Mission accomplished.
Kiran collapses into bed. He wakes up around noon. Somnis still won't be here for a few hours...
(A) BEACH PARTY! Now that it's warmed up a bit.
(B) To the mall! For investigation. Or fun. Either way.
(C) Hang out at the park.
(D) Call someone (Natty, Somnis, Buttons) to do... something.
(E) Study.
(F) Nap more.
(G) Knock on Somnis' window and see if Lamia's around. For kidnapping. For hanging out. Somnis did say she had stuff to take care off.

Climb in Somnis' window and ask Lamia if she wants to go to the beach. Because Kiran really likes the beach for some reason.
