Kiran sets his shoes aside and wades through the fountain. He pokes Somnis' side, right in her secret weak spot, expecting her to giggle and flinch. Nothing. Definitely stone. He reaches out to touch the Somnis statue's face. It's... warm. His sixth sense is screaming that this is wrong. Everything about this is wrong.
...
He tries moving Somnis' shirt, just a little bit. He manages to reach underneath, and feels a spot of flesh underneath. Real flesh. Human... flesh. He pokes it. It... twitches at his touch. He pokes it some more, rubs her stomach. This is... skin... And the stone area is slowly expanding to cover it more and more. At this rate, she's going to be solid stone Kiran recoils in disgust, the pats her stomach reassuringly. He wishes he could hold her hand, but this is the best he can do for now. "H-hang in there, Somnis. I... ah... J-just hold on..." Her stomach is twitching a bit. Can she... feel him...?
Kiran wants to vomit.
He examines the other two statues. He feels like he's seen them around Newvit somewhere.
...
On closer examination, he spots a small key in the boy's hand. He feels a pulse from the key in his pocket. He fights the urge to whip it out in front of the crowd.
...
Kiran steps back and sits on the edge of the fountain. Collapses, really.
(A) Call Momnis immediately.
(B) Call Natsumi and Buttons immediately.
(C) Call the police immediately.
(D) Call Dogachu immediately.
(E) (Faint)
(F) TRUE LOVE'S FIRST KISS WILL AWAKEN HER!
(G) Haha, serves her right. Time to hang with Natty and Butts.
(H) Welp, time to get some doughnuts, get some coffee, and stake the **** out of this ****

The only promblem is how fast is the stone spreading. Will they get here in time?

Kiran calls Natsumi immediately. Then slams his phone down. She always turns her phone off on Saturday nights. He calls Buttons instead.
"Hello?" he answers.
"Buttons!" Kiran gasps.
"Oh, hey Kiran. Where are you? We-" Buttons begins.
"Kiraaaaan! You're a late-person~" Natsumi sings in the background. "And Buttons, didn't I tell you to turn that off?"
"BUTTONSwehaveaproblem!" Kiran spits out.
"...Yeah?" Buttons is instantly serious. Natsumi's not saying anything in the background, either.
"Somnis is... a statue? But not really a statue. She's... um... God, how do I explain this?"
"Statue? Calm down. Start from the beginning."
Kiran takes a deep breath. "OK. The statue at the mall. Somnis and two kids I don't recognize. There's statues of them now. Except I reached under her shirt and there's... There's skin, man. Except it's turning to stone."
"OK. Is she warm to the touch? Does she react to being touched in any way?"
"Uh... Yeah. Both."
"Is she breathing? Feel her chest."
"I... No, she's not."
"OK. That sounds bad, but it's actually good," Buttons says matter-of-factly. "That means she's under some sort of advanced magic spell, not a magical disease. If it were a disease, she'd be screwed at this point. How fast is it spreading? How long do you think until she's completely encased?"
"I... dunno. A... Maybe a day or two?"
"Are people around?"
"Yeah."
"...Alright. Don't do anything suspicious to get kicked out of the mall or anything. Stay nearby, or... Actually, try to find somewhere to hide. Here's the plan. I need to do some research. I might need you inside to let Natsumi and I in after the mall closes. Got it?"
"Um..."
(A) Yeah, got it.
(B) Butts, I'm really freaking out and I need you here now, bro. Don't you need to examine it?
(C) HA! Gotcha! PRANKED, BRO.
(D) Can't... Can't you send Natsumi and you do research alone?
(E) ...Bring Dogachu! He'll know what to do!

I think it would be nice if we had somebody with us otherwise we are just warking around.
Just warking around never helped anyone. Besides if Butts knows anything really well it would be this.
I say D lets have Natty here at least have someone with us. At least for now lets get out of the fountain and somewhere err safe.
