Saturday, September 8th
Kiran wakes up to something licking him. "Ugh! Somnis... This is just too far, even for... Oh, Dogachu."
Dogachu stares up at him and whines.
"Did you remember to lock the door when you came back in?" Kiran asks.
Dogachu nods, but keeps whining.
Kiran rolls out of bed. It's a bit surprising that Somnis didn't wake him up... Oh, wait. It's Saturday. She's only about 50-50 for waking him up on weekends. Another weird dream, too... But at least this dream wasn't all creepy eyebally and talking to him...
He's got plenty of time to kill today. Where to begin?
(A) Head to the mall
(B) Head to the park
(C) Head to the school (like a huge nerrrrd)
(D) Head to the beach
(E) Invite _____ to _____ (numbers: Somnis, Natsumi, Buttons)

Kiran calls Buttons and asks him to come to the beach with him.
"The beach? Yeah, I'm gonna pass on that one," Buttons says. "I feel weird wearing my cloak there."
"...But you're fine wearing it literally everywhere else?"
"I don't get sand in it everywhere else!"
"So go without the cloak!"
"Like Hell!"
(A) Fine! I'll go by myself.
(B) Cool, I'll pick you up in 10 minutes anyway.
(C) ...Alright, do you wanna go to _____, then?
(D) ...OK, I'll see if ____ wants to go instead... See ya, Butts.
(E) (completely change plans to anything from before - also studying and stuff are options)

"I'm coming for you, Butts," Kiran whispers into the phone.
"Why don't you drag Somnis with you instead? Or Natty? Hell, I'm sure Freya would-"
"Be ready for beach funtime adventures in 10 minutes." Kiran slams the phone down without waiting for a 'no.' He proceeds to send a text saying "I'll bring sandwiches."
Alright, Kiran can do this... Just put down a piece of bread, then a piece of meat, then a piece of cheese, then another piece of bread...
...He did it!
No time to celebrate, though. Kiran hurries to get ready, finish packing, and get to Buttons' house as fast as possible. He proceeds to pound on Buttons' door until Buttons opens it. He almost whaps Buttons in the face. "Whoops. Sorry. C'mon, let's grab the bus! Beach party!"
"...No."
"I made lunch for us!"
"OH, HELL NO!" Buttons slams the door.
...
Twenty minutes later, the two are getting off the bus at the beach. Buttons is not happy about this turn of events. Kiran jumps off the bus. "BEEEAAAAACH! YEAH!"
Buttons steps off. "Yeah," he says unenthusistically.
"What are we gonna do first?"
"Go home?"
(A) SWIMMING, HELL YEAH!
(B) SUNBATHING, HELL YEAH!
(C) ICE CREAM, HELL YEAH!
(D) PICKING UP CUTE GIRLS AND/OR GUYS, HELL YEAH!
(E) VOLLEYBALL, HELL YEAH!

"That's... a relatively inoffensive way to start..." Buttons admits. He takes his shirt off so he's just wearing swim trunks and his hood, wrapped around his head and shoulders. "Still, we could've gotten ice cream at the mall..."
"Yeah, but w couldn't have gotten ice cream at the beach at the mall!" Kiran explains.
"That's... true. Stupid, but true."
"C'mon, what flavor do you want?" Kiran asks.
"Banana."
"Yo-o-o-o-o! We'll take a banana and a mint chocolate chip!" Kiran tells the cashier.
"Ugh... Mint."
"Nothing better on a hot day!" Kiran exclaims.
"It's not even hot, it's just barely warm enough for swimming..." Buttons protests.
"Hush and eat your banana."
"Mmmmph."
(A) HELL YEAH, SWIMMING!
(B) HELL YEAH, VOLLEYBALL!
(C) HELL YEAH, SUNBATHING!
(D) HELL YEAH, GOING HOME EARLY!
(E) HELL YEAH is that Natsumi and that girl she was petting the other day over there...?

Kiran walks up to Natsumi and her ponytail friend. The ponytail friend is wearing her swimsuit in a very... interesting manner. "Hey! What's up, Natty? And, uh... Hang on, you told me her name..."
"The goggly-person is Leia," Natty reminds him.
"Oh, right. I'm Kiran. And this is-"
"Buttons."
The ponytail girl laughs nervously. "Oh, hi. I guess I'll change back."
Leia runs in another panic puts back her wet clothes. But she put them up all wonky. One of her arms is stuck inside her shirt, tied up by her goggles. She also managed to get man's underwear on her head.
"H-hi, Kiran and Buttons. I'm Leia, but him... I'm not usually dressed like this haha. I don't know who's underwear this is and AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" She proceeds to scream.
Natsumi wraps her in a hug from behind, casually tossing the underwear aside and transitioning to rubbing her head. "Isn't she so adorable you could just eat her up?"
"It'd be pretty easy with her arm stuck like that," Buttons points out. "Plus, she's already pre-salted, an- Why're you glaring at me like that? It was your suggestion..."
"..."
(A) Right, well... We should go, Buttons. (choose one of the previous activities)
(B) So, you lovely ladies wanna... (choose one of the previous activities)
(C) SHIRTS VS. SKINS SANDBUILDING CASTLE, GO! YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!

"Wha-? Oh, you are on!" Natsumi yells back.
Kiran grabs Buttons and drags him away.
"Are you crazy?" Buttons demands. "We can't possibly beat Gnat at something artsy!"
"Don't worry! I brought a secret weapon." Kiran produces a few buckets and shovels. "Notice anything that they don't have?"
"...C'mon, Kiran. Really? Isn't this kinda... kiddy?"
"You know damn well that Natty's going to tease you incessantly if she wins."
Buttons' eyes narrow. "...OK, it's on. What's our gameplan?"
(A) Size! Bigger! Better!
(B) Get some shells! We're gonna style on them!
(C) All about the details - moat, turrets, that sorta thing!
(D) If they don't have tools, we just need to make something simple and competent, right?
