Pannes quickly finds a young lady with a ponytail shouting to the aether.
"HEY! ANYONE HEAR ME? MY NAME IS CORALIA-"
"Um... Hello..." Pannes says nervously, near silently.
"-I AM HERE FOR MY INITIATION. I COME FROM A FAMILY OF FISHERMEN. WE FISH MARINE GRIMM TO BE PRECISE."
"Oh... that's..."
"I'M REALLY GOOD AT IT. MY WEAPON IS A BIG FISHING ROD WITH A BIG HOOK. I PUT THE HOOK IN THE GRIMM'S MOUTH, THEN SWING IT INTO THE BOAT AND THEN A GOOD PUNCH TO THE FACE DOES THE JOB."
"Um..."
"I'M HERE TO SEE IF GROUND GRIMM DOES THE SAME, YOU KNOW? PLEASE, ANSWER ME. IT'S DARK AND LONELY IN HERE."
"I'm right..."
"IT REMIND ME OF THE TIME WHEN WE HAD A BLACKOUT IN THE HOUSE AND..."
Pannes finally reaches out and taps her shoulder. "Please stop yelling...! I'm right behind you..."
Cinnabre
"Duel? ...Rival? Um... Sorry? Do I know y- oh!" Cinnabre laughs. "I get it! No, we're supposed to be partners, not rivals!"
Magnus
Magnus sighs. "Not a lick. I'm just sorta feelin' my way along. Kind of rude for them t' just suddenly drop us without supplies. What say we go try'n find someone with some light... Partner?"
Glendova
"...OK." Glendova obediently falls in behind Fenrir.

Zuri smiles at Violetta as if what she said was funny.
"Don't apologize, I'm used to underground explosions. Kasper corporation is a mining company. I was trying to leave that behind, but I assume it's helping me right now."
The faunus looks at the cats, scratching his head.
"You can bring your pets to the initiation? Neat... I only have my weapon.
Oh right... Crystals. Haven't found any. I was thinking of making a tunnel that always go forward so I don't get lost. Haven't reached anything yet.
I'm not giving up anytime soon."
---Coralia---
Coralia turns around to see a tall and slim faunua girl with brown hair. The cap wearing girl immediately grabs Pannes hand and shakes it vigorously, never letting go off it as she starts rambling. She's quieter now, but as energetic as ever.
"Oh hi! I am Coralia Scylla! We're partner now right? Girl... I won't disappoint you. Have you foumd a crystal? I think we must find I crystal? What is your name? Is there any ground GRIMM around..."

"What the-!?" Joanne is taken aback by Cinnabre's response. "You can't be serious. You don't remember me? Your greatest rival, the one and only queen of the sea, Joanne!"
Joanne pauses a moment. "Wait...Partners?"
"...HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BE PARTNERS WITH MY RIVAL!?"
Orus
"I'd say that's not a bad idea." Orus pauses. "Er...You lead the way. I have no way of knowing what may be ahead of us. At least you have those...string balls...?" Orus seems unable to see that they are yo-yos.
Violetta
Violetta laughs a bit. "This little guy is actually my semblance. A little fire dust and bam! Flaming cat!" She seems rather proud. "Anyway, your plan seems better than anything I've done so far. I pretty much just wandered in a random direction." She steps back and motions for Zuri to move on ahead. "I'll follow close behind."

"Uh... Um... I don't... know..." Pannes mutters. "Let's... um... I want to try to find my brother... I-if that's OK with you... H-he's kinda big... and s-scary... And we're not... really... related... But I love him anyway and I'm really worried about him, so, um... W-well, he's actually probably better off than me, he sees a lot better in the dark and he's a lot braver so he's probably... looking for me. Pannes. That's... That's me."
Magnus
"String balls? Eh, close enough. Here ya go." Magnus tosses one of the yo-yos to Orus before it clatters to the ground. Magnus then remembers most people need to be able to see to catch things and hands it to him this time. "Just hang onto that and we can't get separated. C'mon, let's get movin'. It'd be a problem if we ran into anything dangerous when we can't see to fight, y'know? I already been that way, so let's go this... way. Huh. Hey, uh, do you... hear something? Rumbling?"
Cinnabre
"Well, that's... Hm. Y'know, I'm not really sure how to be partners with someone. It wasn't really part of my training! I guess, for now, we should just focus on not getting in each others' way until we get a bit more comfortable with each other's styles?" Cinn plants his hands on his hips and gives a hearty laugh. "But I still can't see a thing down here, so I'll be counting on you, Miss Queen Joanne!"

Navy finishes off the Grimm he was killing and wipes his forehead. He smiles then turns to walk forward. He motcies a silhoutte in front of him. It doesn't look like Raj's.
"Hey, what's up?" He says as he walks towards it.
--Raj--
Raj charges forward a bit and turns on his heel at the voice's warning, then swings his mace at the smaller Mole GRIMM, smashing it in the head and against the wall. It falls limp.
He turns towarss the voice and goes towards it. "Um, thanks, uh..?" He could tell it definitely wasn't Navy.

Anubis
Anubis' eyes glow eerily in the dark tunnel. He stares directly at Raj. "Anubis." He continues walking along, past Raj, calling out to him without turning back. "We should keep moving. There are more of those and the crystals are deeper within..."
Joanne
"Grr...Now I have to find a new rival..." She continues to mumble about how annoying it is to work with her rival and how he doesn't even remember her. Cinnabre can notice the electricity surrounding Joanne become more intense. She then stops as a light can be seen in the cave. "Another one already...?" She begins to step forward, but quickly stops as shouting and rumbling can be heard in the cave. "Look out!" She kicks Cinnabre in the chest, knocking him back as someone comes crashing past, slamming into whoever was holding that flashlight.
Niteo
"WHY DID YOU THROW ME OUT OF A HELICOPTERRRRRRRR!?" Niteo shouts as he crashes through the tunnel, flying out one of the openings, past two partners, and slamming directly into some poor girl holding a flashlight. The two of them fall on the floor as her flashlight clatters to the ground.
Holding his head, Niteo stands up. "Ow...Sorry about that, uh...Hm." He reaches down, picking up the girl's flashlight to shine it on her and get a better look at her. Oceania sits there on the ground, recovering from the blow of Niteo being chucked at her. "...Huh. Oh, we're partners now, aren't we? Professor Wisom said something about eye contact I think. So, uh...I guess I'll just call you Boss from here on. Don't even bother with names, Boss. Wait, I guess you need to know my name. I'm Niteo. Oh, wait, you need help to get up?" Niteo reaches a hand out to help Oceania up.
Orus
"Great..." Orus prepares his knives as loud crashing can be heard followed by the crumbling of rocks. One of the walls gives way as something escapes through it. Jumping to conclusions, Orus quickly lunges forward, swinging his knives at whatever it is.
Violetta
CLANG!
"HEY! WHAT THE HELL!? WATCH IT, JERK!"
Violetta blocks a pair of knives set to stab her directly with her broom before kicking whoever it was that just attacked her in the crotch.
"Nngh...!" Orus quickly crumples into a ball as Violetta's flaming cat comes prancing in from behind the crumbled wall.
"Oh hey. It's a student." She then looks up to see Magus. "Oh hey. Another student! Have you guys seen any crystals lying around here...?" Violetta casually speaks to the two as if nothing just happened.
Fenrir
Walking through the caves, Fenrir's ears suddenly perk up.
"...looking for me. Pannes. That's... That's me."
Without saying a word, he quickly grabs Glendova's hand and charges through the tunnels, making quick and sharp turns through them. There she is! With pannes in his sight, Fenrir begins to run toward her, dragging Glendova behind. "PANNES! OVER HERE!" As he lets out the shout, the tunnel begins to rumble. A section of the wall falls apart as a small horde of furry, ant-like GRIMM the size of a bear come running out. Antlions. "Rrgh...Out of the way!" Fenrir reaches for his weapons, preparing to spring into battle.

"You're like a cowboy!"
Those words echoed in Clayton's head, causing him to lose focus.
"I am not a damn cow!" Clayton yelled with sudden fury. "I am a proud Ram Faunus!"
Clayton had more to say but his rant was completely unintelligible as his accent took over every aspect of his articulation, making his speech completely indecipherable.

"Oh. You're a faunus. I didn't notice. Sorry if I upset you..." Navy says, his wall of positivity breaking for a moment after realizing his mistake.

Raj looks at him, and looks back into the dark.
He must be a faunus with eyes like that... I hope Navy's alright...
"Yeah, let's go. You're right..."

Magnus gives Orus a look of pity. "That's what you get for swingin' at the first signs of trouble, mate. Yeah, we ain't seen nothin' in this dark. Coulda been a wall o' crystals right in front've our noses and we'd o' smacked right into it." He casually flips a yo-yo. "So now we're four o' a kind, yeah? Name's Magnus."
Cinnabre
Joanne knocks Cinnabre back just in time. "Oof... Wha- oh. Thanks, Rival."
Glendova
Glendova tries to keep up with Fenrir, she really does. But she's just not as good at moving on land as he is. She manages to keep up for a little while, but eventually ends up getting literally drug along. But it is a lot faster, and her new partner seems to be in a hurry, so she just goes along with it, skidding along the ground. When the first giant ant bursts out of a wall, she has to take a moment to pick herself up and wipe the dirt off her gills. "Six legs..." She fires a net to anchor into the hole in the wall and slow them down, easily replacing the trident's head with a spare on her belt.
Pannes
Pannes' ears twitch. "Huh? H-hey! That's...! Brother, hold on! I'm coming!" She starts running, then stops. "Oh, right, y-you can't see in the dark... Um... Not that I can really see that well, but... Ah! There's no time to waste, so... H-here, get on my back!" Pannes kneels down to let Cordalia climb on.

Wu Barry was walking on the ceiling for a few minutes. There were GRIMM here and there, but nothing that could reach him yet. He eventually noticed something shining on the ground. The blue-haired young man squinted his eyes to notice that it was a sword and there was a girl leaning on the ground right next to it. He dropped next to her and checked her vitals. When he saw that Razz was alive, he let out a sigh of relief.
"Are you okay? There's GRIMM all over the place. You should stand up."
Wu leaned his hand to Razz, offering to help her get up.
---Zuri---
Zuri went on to continue his tunnel, using his drill, when he heard some commotion.
"WHAT? I'M DRILLING A TUNNEL HERE? WHAT'S WRONG VIOLETTA?"
Zuri looked back, out of his tunnel, noticing someone in pain. He stopped drilling, walked out for everyone to see him and scratched his head.
"What is going on here? Hum... Hi. I'm Zuri. Zuri Kasper. Nice to meet you.
There's indeed four of us now... My plan was to make a tunnel. To always go forward. Violetta agreed to it. What do you guys think?"
Zuri looked at Orus, embarassed. He exchanged his aura to ease Orus' pain.
"That's something I learned. Accidents happens in the mines. Anyone can do this. I resort to it a lot, since I have no idea what my semblance is."
---Oceania---
Oceania shrugs and pulls herself up, using Niteo's arms instead of grabbing his hand and letting him help her up. She looks away from him, putting her arms in front of her eyes.
"You know, I have a flashlight to see in the dark, not to get blinded by some guy falling from the sky. I've got to hand it to you though, if you fell from there, we can get out from there. Of course, that means climbing. And I never leave without a good rope. Now, all we need is mark our way through so we can come back here."
The green haired girl wearing a raincoat spits ink on the right wall.
"Now, it's important I always ink the right walls. This way, when we come back, we know the ink has to always be on our left.
Also, don't call me "Boss". I'm not responsible for you right now.
Now, please point the flashlight towards the tunnel. You seem to be too clumsy to fight, so I guess light duty is appropriate for you."
Oceania looks at her watch, realizing she can't even see it in the dark.
"Well, time to get moving. You lead the way? You have the light after all."
---Coralia---
"OH HELL YEAH!"
Coralia jumps on Pannes back, then transform her weapon into a dusthrower. She inserts fire dust capsules inside it.
"It's time for the fiery cavalry, baby! There's nothing wrong with the classic flamethrower. Not only will it light the way, we'll burn anything in our path. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"
Coralia starts spinning the roulette of her weapon.
"I'm ready to let the fire out, you just run my friend!"

"Well I usually prefer t' use a little finesse. If your diggin' managed to attract me'n my partner, who knows what else you might attract? Isn't there a way forward that isn't... quite as straightforward?"
Pannes
"Um...! I'm glad you're excited, but please be gentle... A-ah, no. Actually, you need to hold on really tight... Ha-a-a-a-a...!" Pannes kicks off hard enough to leave an imprint in the ground. She can make out enough of the dark to navigate through the tunnels even as she barrels along in a series of powerful leaps until a faint glow materializes in the distance.
Glendova
Glendova levels her trident at the first enemy as it starts crawling through the net.
A large figure, almost as big as two people stacked on top of each other, comes barreling out of the shadows. "BIG BRO!!!" Oh. It was indeed two people stacked on top of each other. The one doing the running springs into the air and looks like she's aiming to stomp on some bugs. "I'll save you!" She doesn't seem to have seen the hanging net and she's already launched herself - and her rider - straight towards it with the attack. This looks like it's going to end unfortunately.

RAZZMATAZZ
Razz's eyes creaked open, being blinded by the glow of her sword, but quickly adjusting. Looking above her, she saw a blue-haired young man raising a hand out to her. Pushing herself up, she gave him a hug.
"Hey, new boyfriend!" she delivered with a wide smile on her face, seemingly not doing anything to indicate she was not being serious. Picking up her sword, she started heading off in a random direction.
FELDGRAU
Feld was miraculously avoiding any Grimm, even with his pillar of flames extending in front of him, as he searched for crystals. After marching through several caverns and finding nothing of note, he stumbled upon something that seemed to be alive, just sitting there with two blades. Turning off his flamethrower and turning the rifle back into a rifle, he shot into the air. In the sudden flash of light the bullet created, he noticed that it was actually a human, a quite pretty female one at that. Turning back on the flamethrower and pointing it into the air with his left hand, he approached the woman and raised his right arm to her.
"I'm Feldgrau. And you?" he said in a voice decisively void of emotion.

He looked around to the best of his ability and identified three tunnels for him and Navy to start heading through.
