Doesn't Darian have an ability that can hit the back row? If so, use that on Woodfly C. If not, just attack the mole.

I'd agree with that plan of action.
I believe Woodflies are weak to Volt? So Volt Formula.

Darian clubs one set of woodflies as everyone else gangs up on the other. It manages to clip Merrick one last time before dying... Party obtained 120en, Mole Claw x2, Soft Fur x1, Bug Scale x2.When the last of the monsters falls, you wait for the others to tell you it's safe to come out from cover. "Well, that was fun," you tell them. "Yeah... fun..." Urvan says. He groans. "But, hey, I got the money!" Yvan says. She hands you 5 sparkling 100en coins. "Shame that damn bird got away, though... You owe me one." "You did good," you tell her. "Yeah, I did. I told you I'm the best," Yvan boasts. "But, uh... Thanks, Wulf." "Mm." Wulf grunts in acknowledgement. "Let's get back to it, then, shall we?" You break out the map and guide them along the only possible route, back at that north fork. You head along, wondering how the other guilds are doing. You've passed a few locked in fights or resting, but it seems like most of the rookie guilds have either dropped out or gotten well ahead of you. Oh, another fork. There's a path to the west. And the north path splits a bit ahead. You pretend to spin until you get "dizzy," and attempt to fall into Yvan's arms. You flop over backwards. "Hey, watch out!" she yells. She dodges out of the way just in time. You thump down onto your rump. "You gotta be careful with that... Or maybe get a new technique..." Merrick helps you up and smacks the dust off your butt. "You OK?" You pout a bit. "I thought Yvan would catch me if I fell..." you admit. Yvan brings a hand up to her mouth. "...Oh. Oops. Sorry..." You proceed along the northeast path. With what you can see of the northwest path, you can tell they go to the same place. You add it to the map. Looks like up next the path branches east and west... Hm... (A) East (B) West (C) Backtrack southwest because obsessiveness  PS: Everyone has 1 skill point to spend. |
