Received Bug Scale x2!You get back on track and this time try the west path. The path splits again. One goes north and stays straight for as far as you can see through the dungeon's haze. You proceed west after a brief spin-cycle, determined to explore this place now of all times, despite the fact this is - nominally - a race. There wouldn't be a story if you lose, after all.
Shortly after the path curves south, you spot a glint in the road. As you get closer, you can tell it's a 100 ental coin.
(A) Lucky! Go get it, _____.
(B) Interesting. _____, check it out. Carefully.
(C) Yeah, we're not falling for this one. Ignore it and continue.

Wulf nods. He seems to appreciate the nod to caution. He walks over, carefully scanning for enemies. The rest of the guild similarly takes guard. He stands over the coin, looking around one last time, then stoops down to examine it. He looks at it a few seconds, seems to decide it's safe, and starts to pick it up. A black bird dives down and snatches it from the ground before flying off.
"Well, easy come, easy go," Urvan says. "Let's get moving."
You continue along this path and soon find another 100 ental coin laying in the path.
(A) Huh. Hey, ____, grab it before something else does.
(B) Does someone's pocket have a hole...? Or is it a trap? _____, go. Be careful.
(C) OK, no. Ignore it.

Merrick obediently dashes over and picks up the coin. "Got it!"
The black bird swoops down and tries to take it from his hand, but he jerks it back. The bird seems disappointed as it flies off.
Obtained 100 en!
The path continues until it comes to a dead end. You frown and scribble it onto your map.
"Hey, check it out!" Merrick says. You see he's pointing to 5 100en coins sparkling at the end of the path.
(A) Seems legit! Grab it, ______.
(B) Get it, _____. Carefully.
(C) Nope!

"Go grab the coins, Yvan. We'll use some of it on a nice dinner," you say.
Yvan sighs and walks over to pick up the coins. As she finishes picking them up, that bird comes back. It squawks angrily at her and tries to grab the shinies from her hands. When that doesn't work, it pecks her in the head.
Yvan took 10 damage!
All the commotion draws out some monsters! Yvan shoos the bird off as the party runs into battle positions.
(Ya'll've got a perfectly good discussion topic listing everyone's skills, use that so I don't have to type it out every time.)
(Oh, and it also lists items. Like Medicas.)
