CYOA: Story of a Soldier

Thank god you had brought this CYOA back Slash, I really missed this one quite a lot and it was one of the more fun CYOA's to look towards in the GameFAQ's Boards.
Anyways my vote is A.

Two blue hairs means 'Marth' is there which means this is the altered time line which means the only legitimate threat to the exalt is Validar. There for I vote C.

A wins 3/1, also do not think just because "Marth" is here that the story is the same

"I can't risk anything funny happening, I have to stay with the Exalt, no matter what the cost!" Lance thought to himself as he returned to the room.

Once he he could check his surroundings, he noticed the only ways in were the two doors, as there were no fliers to his knowledge. There was one table, a bookshelf and two chairs, to which he made a mental note of. One was to never count out the area of battle to come out the victor. He kneel'd before the Exalt, now that they had a moments rest.

"M'lady, my name is Lance, I am a mercenary that was previously hired to kill you. I have, however, had a change of heart along with the man named Gaius I intruded with just before. My deepest apologies." the tone different than his usual snarky one.

She smiled at him warmly, "Pay it no mind young man, you did me a favor by stopping those men, rise."

As he stood up his serious demeanor returned, "If I may m'lady, there are too many men in the east wing. Unless you have a larger force there, that side is most likely to fall." her shocked expression said it all, but he smirked without hesitation, "I have a plan to save them and you, but my plans come with a risk. It would your life in even more danger, however it may allow us to escape without too much fuss either."

"What plan to you have in mind, intruder?" a man's voice came from behind him.

As he turned around three people had entered the room, a blonde a brunette and one of the blue hairs from before. The blonde looked at him in awe, as the other two watched him suspiciously.

"I plan to sneak her out through the more chaotic side." Lance answered confidently.

The brunette hopped off his horse and got in Lance's face, "Are you daft? You mean to take her through the fighting at its most heavy?"

"Frederick, please." the exalt softly pleaded.

"Lady Emmeryn I must disagree, we barely know him." Frederick protested.

"And if I told you that the Exalt wouldn't have to leave this castle?" Lance interrupted, "It would require this lovely lady's help however."

The blue haired man stepped forward, "What do you intend for my sister? What would Lissa have to do?"

Lissa frowned, "Chroooooom, I can fend for myself!"

Lance whispered the plan to Chrom secretly, and Chrom's face showed the fault in this plan. He tried to think of another way, but Lissa was for the plan.  Frederick tried to state he was coming as well, but Lance said he coudl only take one more, and a knight would just slow them down. As they bickered, another blonde came in, just in time.

"Maribelle! Are you okay?" Lisa ran to her friend.

"Not at all, we can barely hold the line!" she snapped.

"Perfect!" Lance stated.

Lance had Lissa switch clothes with Emmeryn and borrowed Frederick's horse. As he helped Lissa onto his horse, he nodded to Maribelle and they took off towards the west hall much to everyone's surprise. And they rode past those that fought there, they rode straight at Validar who was quickly approaching.

"Stay on course..." he whispered to Maribelle, "OI! OLD BAG OF BONES! COME GET THE EXALT IF YOU CAN!" he shouted right after, catching the attention of Validar fully. 

As they rode past him, Validar noticed the robes on the woman riding with Lance and he immediately called everyone to chase after them. As eh did, the fighting in the east hall completely died down, allowing everyone to escape with their lives. However, Lance knew there was only one shot at the two ladies with him surviving, and eh was prepared to make that sacrifice. As they reached the clearing, he jumped off the horse and told the two of them to keep riding, and to not look back until they reached the point they discussed to meet the others at. With no other way out, Lance took the tonics he had kept safe to boost his fighting spirit and awaited the oncoming army. as the approached furiously, he stood knowing he would die here, and he regretted nothing. However a loud roar echoed throughout the nightly downpour causing the approaching army to stop before reaching him.

SPECIAL DECISION~

A. Stand your ground and ignore the noise completely.
B. Use this time to head toward where the noise seemed to have come from.
C. Charge the army, leave the noise to chance.
D. Stay calm and hope the noise is friendly.
