Miiiiisty. Don't forget EXP. The past two sessions have been crazy, so we should be getting quite a nice amount.

Wait...
Slimex never threatened Dirus, he just told him to let the dust settle before going on the field.
At no point did Slimex ever imply he wanted to hurt or kill Dirus.

Juuuuustiiiiice Don't forget the thing we always remind you not to forget With experience Not that anyone's leveling up any time soon
Also don't forget that higher-level spells require more rounds to cast and the stuff about things that interrupt casting and all the stuff about catching breath and whatnot and mage is really complicated in RIFTS, glad I just have to worry about punching stuff and occasionally using psychic abilities.

Yeah, I have spells that take hours to cast and considering the pace of the campaign, I'm never using them.

Uh... Unless you're casting a legendary spell, or an outside-of-battle only spell that I don't know about...
Level 1-4 spells: 1 melee action to cast
5-8 spells: 2 melee actions to cast
10+ spells: 3 or 4 melee actions, depending
I might be off on the exact numbers, but that's the gist. At most, the highest level spells will only ever take up 1 melee round, or more commonly, 4 actions. No spell in the system takes multiple rounds. Even the Legendary Spell that creates a new dimensional plane from nothing doesn't take multiple rounds/hours.

I meant to ask about that. Does that mean, for example, it immediately consumes 4 actions and you cast it instantly, or you have to channel for 4 actions without being interrupted? 'cause if it's the second, I now understand how the balance with some of these obscenely powerful spells works.

'cause if it's the second, I now understand how the balance with some of these obscenely powerful spells works. Depends on the spell. Some are instantly cast. But most of the really powerful ones have to be channeled without interruption to be cast.

So my summoning rituals are indeed instant?

Uh... I'm not really familiar with Demon Summoning Rituals. But I can check later.

No just tired but it's a good idea, really, make Sechs his own airship and
Ah! The spellbook's quirk! I knew I forgot something. Hang on, I need to go ask you about that.

OK, I'm sure Neo will take care of that... What was I saying? Oh, Balloon Sechs. Well. It would be nice if he could fly. But he doesn't need to fly well to be an air supremacy type of thing. I don't need to butt in on Amelia's thing. Plus those sorts of upgrades would be stupid expensive. Just being able to reliably go up or down any surface is good. Or maybe get like a Fulton system thing so Shira could do fly-by extractions. Hell, going to Floatstone, even just a basic parachute system would be a good idea. Wait, Glitterboys can hover for like 2 minutes. Is that enough to stop a catastrophic crash...?
...Point is, it's not a stupid idea, it's just being presented in an intentionally stupid way.

I mean... With the way crash mechanics work in Rifts... You're still pretty much going to die. So just don't fall off FLOATY LAND.

Just gotta start firing the Boom Gun at the ground, didn't you see the A-Team movie?
...Actually that might be viable, it has enough force to send the frame flying 30ft, which means it... BUNNY. COME PHYSICS FOR ME.
