Honestly, Neo's comment is still eating at me. That Celica needs to be put in her place. Because how dare she think she can do that only thing she's good at as well as Shira. The master psionic magic user who can do everything from turning invisible to laundry to teleporting and oh yeah splatter you against the wall at any time and even in this form is stronger than your little robot. Yes, Celica needs that to happen.
Oh, right, it already did. When she was completely useless trying to help during the only time she should've been useful out of combat. And then she let out a terrasque and could've destroyed the world. And realized she was becoming her mom. Then found out her mom's part of OMEN. Then, because she couldn't help him, had to shoot Mech in the face. Yeah, that all went over so well. Hence "let's try talking to her" instead of "let's just kill her." Because "let's try talking to her" just screams about how pride's coming before the fall.

I'll be perfectly honest, I think every single one of our characters have to get their ass kicked and soon.
Sure we all have our moments where we feel useless, but we never ever came close to feeling like we're in danger.
Every single one of our characters need a wake up call. And I'm including Slimex in this.
Like we had a freaking Terrasque in our face and since an NPC carried us, even that felt like a joke.
Now, I'm not criticizing the campaign. I love it. I just think we need a beating.

Shira and Celica always clash. You two are just having a lot of trouble separating that from yourselves, which means that when tensions get high you say stupid things about the other character in frustration and then the imother one takes it really badly beause it's about their own character, and them they absorb that hurt themselves because you aren't quite detached enough from the characters.

I also don't have a problem detaching myself from Shira, not as much as some other characters. I said something stupid last night, and I recognized it was stupid and mean, and I apologized for it. I even stayed after session a little just to make sure you were okay and not too frustrated by it. I thought everything was settled. Then, from my point of view, you make a random post that completely contradicts that, and shows you're very obviously not okay with it, and you do it in such a way that.. I don't really know how to describe it. But it seemed really accusatory, and even a little hostile, and very frustrated. And it upset me a lot, especially since it caught me completely off guard. Maybe, in the future, if something I said is bothering you, you can just PM me and tell me something is bothering you and you'd like to talk about it? Instead of just posting it here where I can stumble on it? |

So you guys are going for a quick RIFTS Earth sidequest just for a break from Dracomundi? Just making sure so that way I don't make the wrong mission or have to prepare it an hour or two before session like...almost every time since the Pirate Queen.

I think that's what most of us have agreed on, yeah. Maybe not a super short mission, but a fairly short to medium length sidequest on Rifts Earth.
Hey, Crow. I've been wondering. Do you think it would do Shira and Celly good to have a little brawl? Obviously not a fight to the death or real fight, but more like a brawl between siblings who don't always get along or see eye to eye. Like the kind of thing that happens spontaneously, due to lots of pent up tension, but leaves them both laughing or feeling some begrudging respect towards each other after. It might be a good way to help them move forward.

Also, Crow, I was thinking Celly would be in Sechs for the little brawl, but eh. It was just a thought.
