Could we hire a full time smith/mechanic to hang out at HQ and make/fix things for us at lower costs, so that even after their salary it's cheaper to get things done in house? And maybe even someone who will accept alternative forms of payment, such as a wonderfully talented smith who just so happens to have a dracopixie dust addiction as their only vice? Or otherwise, if it would be possible to spend money on classes and equipment so a PC would gain/improve the skill for that kind of stuff? I have to spend those credits somehow, and this is less gamebreaking than deathbringer swords for the whole party. But Shira can still save her share of the money for that.

Kana lowers the price to 25,000 Nice and fancy sound blocking ear thingies are about 5,000. If you want the really nice ones. 5,000? That seems a bit steep, considering IIRC the book has normal high grade earphones for like a couple hundred credits. I don't need a military grade pair.

I'm fairly sure you do, actually, considering even standard power armor doesn't provide enough noise cancellation.

I thought you did want military grade earphones. I'll lower the price if you didn't though.

You can also always try and sneak more people into SENTINELS base like you did with Alice too.

Oh okay. I'll take the military grade ones then. So long as Shira can get them in a pretty light blue color. What does Kana have to say about the Deathbringer sword and the Hurricane spell?

Just 10,000 for both since it's using one spike for two different armors. Alright, I bought them, already removed my 10 000 credits. All I need is what the armor does.

Since you split up the armor into two pieces, I guess I'll just half the normal MDC value. So that's 50 each for both Slimex and Weasel.

For the Hurricane spell, Kana wants you to bring him the scales of a sea serpent. He doesn't really care which one though. As long as its a sea serpent. And you're going to need more than just one of its scales. You'll need about...a basket full? That should do.
Kana doesn't seem to know how to make a Deathbringer Sword or what you would need in terms of materials. That thing's so rare, even he can't get one!

But no Deathbringer sword? But I really, really want one... Welp. Not really a point in saving up my money for one if I have no idea where to even start looking for one.

In what ways can I upgrade my spear and how much would it cost? Depends on what you're looking for. You can probably use certain materials to make it stronger or pay Kana to add bonuses to damage or strike just with simple modifications.

I'm mostly looking for bonus damage and bonus to strike, but increased melee range would be nice.

I'll need some time to think about it then, since I don't want everyone to just buy fifty bonus points in damage, but I still want it affordable.

Just think about how the current expensive weapons work relative to their cost and what advantages they have over weaker ones.
Obviously, the Boom Gun is much stronger than a laser pistol, but it's also big and deafens everyone alongside being much, much more expensive.

Mystic, the Hurricane spell is actually a Level 7 spell. Would that change anything? Blame the bad spacing of the PDF.

K. I decided to sell the fragment and get some stuff that every self-respecting mech pilot needs. Yeah, Sechs it technically power armor and not a giant robot, but still... Every good pilot needs 2 things: a giant sword, and an ABSOLUTE FINAL TRUMP CARD (OF JUSTICE). Also some other stuff. So. Shopping list.
Giant Vibro-Sword: List price 18,000cr ABSOLUTE FINAL TRUMP CARD (OF JUSTICE) (AKA big explosives): List price: 8,000cr More Fusion Blocks (x3): List price 1,000cr Handy Haversack/Bag of Holding: ??? Some kind of bird native to Dracomundi: ???

Oh, forgot to ask this.
Terrasque armor.
I assume it's 50MDC and once that goes away, it goes away permanently.
I want to make sure it's not a permanent +50MDC though.
Also, can it be repaired if it's damaged?

It can be repaired, but you can't heal it mid battle.
