I'll just post her stuff here and it can be added to the journal later(Preferably in blue writing). Also, it should be noted that Shira only writes in Dragonese. ----Shira's 1st entry- Ewww! I didn't go to the bathroom with that bartender! What are you, blind?! ----Shira's report- So, um... I just write stuff here, right? Stuff about the mission? Um... I don't really see the point, but dad says writing is important even for a dragon, so okay. We were sent to get a magic crystal. Mr Sheppard says he needs it so he can make the teleport thingies work. They're kinda like magic circles that cast a powerful teleport spell. Anyway, we ended up in a desert. The crystal was in a town filled with mages. I wanted to sneak in and help get the others in, but Amy came up with this weird thing called a 'strategy'. Well, Amy came up with it, so I'm sure it's fine. Amy is really, really nice. She's really kind and caring. Amy's strategy worked and we got into the town. We went to the tavern. The food was really yummy. I got one of the nice mages to pay for me, so yay! I didn't actually have any money myself... Amy probably would have been nice enough to buy me food, but I didn't want to trouble her... The rest of the party already hates me for some reason, I don't want her to hate me too. I went to the bathroom- ALONE- and snuck out the window. There were a lot of shadows everywhere, so it was easy to sneak around. But I had to be careful not to be heard. I snuck onto the roof of the biggest building and found a hidden door guarded by two mages, so I figured that's where they were keeping the crystal. I tried to simply sneak past them but couldn't, so I had to take them out. I feel really guilty about it... But they were bad people who kidnap innocent little Dracopixes. The Federation of Magic is bad. Anyway, I pushed one mage off the roof with telekinesis and made the other fly. It caused more of an uproar than I thought it would. Oops. I panicked and punched the door open. The door lead to a cave, but I simply flew down. Lots of shadows, so it was easy to sneak around and get the drop on the bad people. I couldn't figure out how to get the crystal, so I pushed a mage into that thing on the wall. It made a door open and I found some innocent, adorable little Dracopixies! They're SO cute!!! How dare those evil people kidnap little Dracopixies!!! How dare they steal them from their nests and exploit them!!! I rescued the Dracopixies and lead them out of the cave, where I ran into Amy, Don, and Slimex. Amy took the hatchlings to safety, while I healed the demon. He wasn't even very grateful! But he said he could get past the crystal's barrier, so I showed him where it was. He lied though. The barrier was too much for him. We found a cat person. He was really cute, so I didn't want to kill him. I convinced him to help us. Amy got the crystal, so we all left and went home. I left the evil mages a present. Mr Sheppard told us about the other worlds and stuff. I understood some of it... But if I go to these other worlds, I can look for my parents right? We're going to a place called Dracomundi first. It sounds fun. I thought maybe I could get all the Marks of the Great Dragons for myself and become a Great Dragon, but the others didn't seem happy with that. Why don't they like me? Dad said powerful magic always comes with a powerful price... I don't want the others to suffer. It would be safer for a dragon. Oh, and Kana is going to help me get a cool spear. Anyway, that's all I think. My hands are tired. Ima go take a nap. ---Slimex's response--- Wait... This is a shared report? I see... I got lost being concentrated in my animal impersonator role, so I think I spaced out. Take Shira's report of what happened in the tavern as true. For the records, I don't hate Shira. I'd try to kill her if I did. I just think she needs to grow up. At this rate, she's just gonna have herself killed. She is a valuable asset to the team, but she needs to understand we are a team. She's gonna have to learn that and fast... We're going to face ten entities with godly powers... If she faces them alone, it won't end well.

I think everyone needs to learn what the term "hatchling" means. Shira's barely more than a year old. Besides, when she finally does grow up, everyone's going to miss her antics. You know it's true.

I added Slimey's response. It might be a good idea to make a new Journal per mission or something.
You never told me about the question I asked about MD armor. Whether any of the places we can go, we wouldn't be able to have it. Since Shira and... I think also Amelia? have natural MD armor. Which would mean either enemies would only have SDC weapons and Shira would be literally untouchable and just do everything, or enemies would have MD weapons and we'd have to stay back and let Shira do everything or risk being one-shot.

Dragons are creatures of magic. If Shira goes to a world with no magic whatsoever, or very little magic, she's weakened and becomes a SDC/HP creature.
But I get what you're saying. That's a problem with the core balance of Rifts and how it affects travel between worlds, and I'm not sure how to counter it, save for the ways I've already talked about with Mystic; terrain, different types of enemies(Both MD and SDC), situational bonuses, magic items/gear that temporarily/permanently provides MD armor or consumable items that deal MD damage, etc.

I completely forgot I told GX I would list some weapons for her. Sorry GX.
CS Heavy Military Weapons:
C-12 Heavy Assault Laser Rifle. Sturdy and reliable with good availability. It has 3 settings; 2 MDC and 1 SDC. Comes with a passive Nightvision scope and laser targeting. Weight: 7lbs. Mega-Damage: Setting 1: 4d6 MD. Setting 2: 2d6 MD. SDC Damage: Setting 3: 6d6 SDC damage. Rate of Fire: Equal to your number of melee actions. Range: 2,000 ft. Payload: 20 MD blasts from standard E-Clip or 30 from a long E-Clip, plus another 30 can be added with an additional E-Clip. 6 SDC shots = 1 MD blast. Standard reload time(One full melee round). Laser Targeting adds +1 to Strike on aimed shots. Cost: 20,000 credits for the rifle. Comes with one standard E-Clip canister. Additional E-Clips cost around 2,000-3,000 credits each.
C-29 "Hellfire" Heavy Plasma Cannon(AKA the Big Gun) Anti-armor, Anti-Robot, Anti-tank, heavy infantry support. Extremely durable, inflicts incredible damage. Comes with a telescopic and laser distancing scope. Weight: 12 lbs. Mega-Damage: 1d6x10 MD. Rate of Fire: Equal to your number of melee attacks/actions. Range: 1,400 feet. Payload: 8 blasts per canister. The C-29 can be connected with an energy cable to a portable hip or backpack carried Energy Canister(E-Clip), raising the initial payload to 16 blasts. Dual Energy backpacks usually come standard with this weapon, with 2-4 additional E-Clips in side satchels. Always comes with at least 1 E-Clip. Targeting Scope: +1 on Aimed shots. Cost: 32,000 credits for the weapon alone, 42,000 credits for the standard issue(Including backpacks, energy cable, E-Clips, etc). Energy Recharges cost 2,000 credits. Rare availability.
Those are my two main recommendations for Amy. The C-29 in particular, while expensive, has fairly cheap ammo cost and is a portable freaking cannon. It has nearly as much power as Celica's Boom Gun, without the drawbacks. Plus, if you buy the standard issue, you could probably disguise it as Steampunk tech very easily, since it comes with cables and backpacks and stuff.
If you don't like either of those, I can list some other options, but it's late and I'm tired.

There aren't any worlds that will contain only SDC since uh...thats kind of impossible with this party. I've found my own interesting ways of balancing this SDC MDC thing. "Balancing" Basically, SDC creatures are going to either be enemies I placed for quest purposes/decoration/story or they're going to activate annoying abilities if you don't deal with them quickly. So either way, the goal is to mow them down Dynasty Warriors style. MDC enemies are usually the ones that are meant to be more resiliant and dangerous.

I'm seriously considering just buying a Vibro weapon for now, so Shira has some sort of actual weapon until I can afford the Lightning Spear. Hmm. They're really not that expensive...

Mystic, do melee Strike bonuses from Hand-to-Hand skills also apply to melee weapons, like swords, spears, knives, etc? Or do only the Weapon Proficiencies apply? I don't remember.

Yay! I thought so, but I wasn't completely sure. I'll double check with Birdy tomorrow.
Let's see... What would be cooler? Shira effortlessly wielding a giant sized Vibro-greatsword that's usually only used by Robots/Power Armor, like Cloud with the Buster Sword? Or retractable Saber Forearm Vibro-Blades? The arm sabers also give her a bonus to Parry, so that would allow her to parry MD weapons fairly easily without needing to go into dragon form.

It's too bad dragons have the whole "rarely or almost never use technology" restriction. Cause Shira's actually strong enough to wield huge rail guns or missile launchers.

Most expensive thing I've found so far: A robot that costs 50 million credits. ... Btw, if it wasn't obvious, I can't sleep.

Okay. Ima do it. I'm gonna go ahead and buy this for Shira:
Sabre Forearm Vibro-Blades: The vambrace or forearm plate has a pair of straight blades that are partially retractable(Half length), maximum length is 24 inches. Mega-Damage: 2D6+2 MD(3d6 MD with her Supernatural strength) and is +1 to Parry. Can be used to parry MDC weapons. Cost: 16,000 Credits.
They're basically metal gauntlets with retractable swords. Since I can have them look any way I want, they'll be shiny silver plate gauntlets with polished shiny blades.

So... SDC damage does nothing to enemies?
Does that mean my sub-machine gun is useless?

SDC damage does nothing to MDC enemies/structures. It harms SDC enemies/structures as normal.

MD damage, on the other hand, deals 100 SDC damage. Per point. Generally an insta-kill on SDC enemies.
I wish I'd known that going in. It makes Celica even weaker, since now her physical skills that increase SDC alongside other stuff are even less... Ah, whatever.

I'm tempted to try to get Celica so tough she can actually survive an MD hit.

I see...
There's no MDC sub-machine guns I imagine?
That means I'm actually completely useless if I'm out of PPE
