I don't think exploding dice are used in RIFTS other than for character creation. Unless there's some spell that uses them or something.
Generally, you re-roll crits until none of your dice are critical successes/max damage then sum total all the rolls you made. For character creation, you roll another 1d6 if your natural stat was 16+ (which requires at least 1 crit success... oh, so it is just normal exploding dice). If that's a 6, you can roll it again, maxing at 5d6.
If you're asking how to macro it on roll20... Are you asking that? Because I can figure it out if I need to.

I don't like having the big character sheet open to use different attacks. So I'm going to make my own attack macros. But I want to do it in a robust, easy-to-update-when-leveling way. If I figure it out for myself, I can probably help other people implement it. But... I don't think I can actually do it in notepad.
Neo can you - can you first, then will you - copy and paste the character sheet's code here? It'd be big, so in a spoiler if you even can do that.

The macro turned out to be way, way more involved than I expected... But it's got all my attacks in one place and now I don't need to update everything with increased strike/parry bonuses on level-up.
Now to see how hard it'll be to adapt it to other characters with Sechs.
