~ Oz: Mailbag of Legends - Season 1 Debut Discussion!!

Well I read the stuff.

Crow shouldn't feel like he's missing anything. Mailbags are a thing that had zilch to do with the verse. They started with Team Nova on GFAQs and it's really only moved over to other RPs because 70% active posters are in Nova. And if admin read Nova or it's previous Mailbags we might have had an issue bringing it here in the first place. But since it's an immigrated project some things about it and its traditions might have to change, sure.

If someone had an issue back when the Yancy mailbag was written we might have said "ok let's tone it down from here on" but instead we said "oh dear lord that actually happened quick post over before the mods find it". So we might as well tone stuff down now. Then again, my personal bias is that I don't quite understand the concept of "racy" that well so a change in that regard might matter less to me.

As for freedom of speech issues, you technically have the freedom to yell racial slurs in a slum full of ethnic minorities. Or, you know, call them all rapists and murderers on national television while running for president. People should just use their own judgement.

I think we just do a group PM where we tell one another hey here iS what makes me uncomfortable because that way we all know what are triggers are and o.ly us people who mainly RP with one another.

Hey Emppy have you thought of creating a brand new thread (maybe in Short Stories or Novels section) just for mailbag because putting it here feels awkward.

Here's pt.1 of the Lana mailbag.

“Psst are we ready yet,” some random stage hand asked Anna.

“Geez so pushy we had to make some last minute edits to this mailbag,” Ann said.

“What do you mean the ratings for the previous mailbag were through the roof,” Joe said.

“Unfortunately, we got a visit today from them,” Anna sighed.

“Ohhhhh them, did you try the usual,” Joe asked.

“Yup, bribing didn’t work, blackmailing had no effect, tried offering some quality time with the water nymphs and no die,” Anna said rather disappointed. “I mean they threaten to pull the show or even worse take away my money, “ Anna sighed. “I mean the show is one thing there will always be another mailbag, gig, award show to host, but my money,” Anna said as a single tear started to stream down her pale cheeks.

“Curse you FCC,” Joe scream towards the heavens.

“Well she still has the racoon ears and tail, and we'll we have that one rather skimpy outfit,” Anna said. “Sure it's more Pg-13 then Oshawott X or Smexxxx but well it's a small price we have to pay,” Anna said.

“Ehhh I guess get ready Anna we are on in 3 2 1,” Joe said as the curtains parted ways to reveal Anna in all her Annaness.

“Welcome folks to episode 2 part 1 of mailbag of LEGENDS,” Anna said as fireworks went off in the background. “Well your favorite racoon princess, is ready to make her grand appearance give a loud and mailbag welcome to La,” Anna said as someone whispered something unto her earphones. “Really it's not a racoon but a Tanooki, ehhh who cares, welcome Princess Lana,” Ann said as the water nymphs danced off to the side and Tanooki Lana wearing a rather revealing bathing suit was accompanied to the stage by a couple of Mankeys wearing cute little Bow ties.

“So is this the part where I am suppose to,” Lana asked as Ann cut her off.

“Unfortunately, due to a visit by the man, we had to cancel,” Anna said as a rather loud Boo spread across the packed stadium.

“Fight the power,” one of the audience members called out as a chant started where the audience members started chanting fight the power.

“Let's see how you would feel if it was your money they were coming after,” Anna mumbled to herself.

After a few awkward moments of people chanting fight the Power and stick it to the man, Lana decided to strike a pose and then blow a kiss out towards the crowd. The crowd was eventually beginning to chant a different chant. “Love you Lana (clap clap) Love you Lana,” the crowd began chanting.

“Thanks for that,” Anna whispered.

“Anytime, wait Anna why is there a crow perched on your shoulder?” Lana asked.

“Oh this little guy here is too deliver your first set of questions,” Anna said as the crowd dropped off a package of note cards, cawed at the crowd and then flew away.

If you could permanently add one Outlander to the castle maid/butler staff, who would you pick?
L: Hmm that's tough only one….. well I would say Catie because her friendliness would actually do the one who shall go unnamed some good and maybe just maybe she could eat her Ice cold heart.

When you have a crush on someone, do you go full stalker or just a little stalker?
L: Hmm depends on how much I like that person and how little I trust them.

A: It's one or the other Lana no pushes allowed.

Who was your first crush?
L: Hmm never really had one, now that I thought about it.

What's your dream home?
L: Don't have one I already live in a palace.

A: Pretty and humble folks (Anna said very sarcastically). Lana will remember that.

Which Oz general's the hottest?

L: The chick in charge of the Angelos unit

Anna looks surprised by the response but is told to move it along there is still another part to come.

Which Oz general would you most like to see in a dress?
L: The scary one that carries that scary sword around. (The one that fought Ethan)

L: Stripes


Are you seeing anybody? Y'know, romantically? If not, do you have anybody in mind?
L: Not really, kinda hard with everything going on and your mom watching your move most of the time. If I could see someone well Baron is married….. I wonder if Alyssa is single she's awfully cute.

Anna again looks like she is ready to faint and wants to press the issue more. Yet, Joe tells her we are short on time move it along

When's the last time you were sick? How bad was it?
L: Sickness wasn't really an issue growing up. I guess the last time I was sick was a couple years ago but It was just a cold.

If you could change things so that Glinda had died instead of Garland, would you?
L: No I really love my mom I wouldn't change a thing.

Do you ever wish you had more siblings?
L: Yes always wanted a younger sister

How's your penmenship? Do you have pretty handwriting?
L: It's okay nothing too special but at least it's not chicken scrath.

Favorite childhood story?
L: A nice biography or history book
A: Hmm what a rather boring response.
L: Kinda of hard to say books about princesses when your a princess.
A: I guess you have a point. Nerd.

If you weren't the Princess, what type of career would you pursue?
L: Probably a professor or a reasercher. This extremely hot Nerd has a love for knowledge.

“Well folks that's it for part one stayed tune for part two,” Anna said as the curtains closed and a bunch of manakeys began to start cleaning up the stage.

(Sniff sniff kinda of sad its coming to an end also really wanted a Neo question too. Sniff Sniff oh well there is still plenty of chances for that.)

"Hey Anna got a second," Lana said as she knocked onto the door of Anna's dressing room.

"Well usually my hand chosen victim don't really adress me unless it's on stage but I can make an exception," Anna motioned as a Super monkey opened the door and escorted Lana to the all mighty goddess Anna.

"Fletch Fletch Fletching," a rather beautiful lookng Fletching said to Anna.

"No not yet, let's see what we she has to say Flanna," Anna said adressing Flanna.

"Umm well I was wondering if you could help me with a little something," Lana asked her.

"Well I would love to but well unfortunatly the FCC is still hanging around so we can't have the original plan where you and the water nymphs and myself would mud wrestle," Anna said rather disappointedly. Flanna let out a couple of boistourouis Fletchigs at that response.

"Umm well that would have been interesting but umm no I have something else in mind," Lana said as she had a familiar looking feather in her hand.

"Hmm you have my interest princess," Anna said looking at the feather.

"Well what do you think?" Lana said. "Just think of the ratings," Lana said rather mischievously.

"Sold," Anna said as she touched the feather andddd.

"Welcome back ladies and gentlement to the grand finale of the Lana mailbag," Anna said as a bunch of smoke began to flood the stage. "Well I hope your in for a treat because thanks to a rather generous princess, you now have 2 cuties with a pair of cute Racoonki ears and tails," Anna called out as her form began to come into view. Anna still had her signature red hair, along with a couple of red ears that were circled on top of her head, she also had a long red tail. Finally she was wearing a long flowing, furry, brown dress.

The crowd let loose a loud cheer as finally, they had something to cheer for.

"Now then lets get this show on the road," Anna said as Lana appered in the same outfit she was in last time. A mystical Bunny appered in a flash of fire to deliver the last set of note cards. Before it leaves it tells the audiance to Post in something called Nova of Legends before disappering in a pillar of flames.

What is your bra size?
L: Well lets see.
A: Umm that's fine you don't have too.

Have you ever ridden a dragon? Do you want to ride a dragon? What's the best thing you've

L: No; Yes; A horse.

Can you turn into a statue with that Tanooki suit?
L: Let me try if I remember how to do that. Lana crouches down and jumps into the air as she is transformed into a statue of her current self.
A: Well I guess that is a yes. Umm but we kinda of need her to not be stoned.

A manakey taps on the statue as Lana reverts to normal. Yet unlike in Oz Lana still has her ears and tail. (Hey in Mailbag land things operate differently)

What's your opinion on this doujin featuring you and Glinda?
L: Umm whats that. A water nymph whispers into her ear and before Lana can say anything Anna asks the next question

How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real?
L: Because that's what she said.

Would you smooch a dragon?
L: Yeah they seem pretty smoochable

How would you describe Mystic in one word?
L: Mystical

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
L: Kupo

L: I think they are very interesting. I mean if I knew any necromancers maybe even if I had one that I was related too then I would love to hear more about it.­

­What are your general thoughts regarding Ephesus?
L: I am not sure I want to say maybe there not all bad but with everything they been doing I just don't know. I wish we could all sit down and talk and get a chance to know and learn from one another. Yet, from what I hear they seem more concerned with absoulte distruction so well.

How close were you and Cia?
L: Cia was like a second mom to me. When ever I needed someone to talk to she was there. She was someone I could talk to, confine to, and even somebody that would give me advice. I miss her alot.

A collective awwww went through the crowd and even a couple of the mankeys and super monkies hugged one another and they were crying.

­If all your clothes were stolen, would you rather cover yourself with whipped cream, honey, or chocolate sauce?
L: Whipped cream.

­Do you enjoy being a princess, or would you prefer being a normal girl?
L: Sometimes I prefer to be a normal girl to be honest. It's too restrictive being a princess that others don't realive. I would love to take a trip around Oz one day just explore and see everything first hand.

L: Mom seems kinda of lonely lately maybe a man or woman would make her feel a little less stressed and maybe a little more relaxed.

L: None

L: No I mean I prefer to wear nothing and having my skin soaked in the water and...
A: As much as we would love to hear more we are kinda of on a schedule.

L: Hmmm all the Outlanders I met seem really nice even if some of them try to hard some of the time. I guess Catie maybe because she probaly proceed to tackle me to the ground and start hugging me. (Somewhere June can be shivvering at that thought.)

L: Sure I don't see Wynat

L: Bottom of my feet

What's your opinion on moustaches?
L: They are really cool. I will say Mario has the sweetest Stache I ever seen.

Cutest outlander you've met?
L: Obviously it's Bowser Jr. Such a cutie

"Well folks let's give one more standing ovation for Lana," Anna said as the crowd gave Lana a standing ovation. "Now Lana I just need you to wake up," Anna said as Lana looked confused. "Lana open your eye umm please," Anna said as Lana opened her eyes and saw a concerned Starlow and Mario staring at her.

"Umm where am I?" Lana asked.

"Your inside your own room," Starlow said to her.

"Weird I had the weirdest dream involving monkies, crows, bunnies, and flames," Lana said as she stood up and stretched.

"Let's go," Mario said as he had a Tanooki leaf in his hand.

"Umm right, that dream felt so weird Lana said.

As Lana, Starlow, and Mario left the room, a Fletching was watching Lana from outside along with a crow.

"Vote in AoD and post in Fletching," both the Crow and Flanna said.
