Cheese, what you missed: I think you left right after we were pretty much done basically.
Nyl's going to sign up for the arena. And is probably going to then drag the rest of the party there after a round or two. FIGHT CLUB NEXT SESSION.

FITE CLUB. I'm totally down for fite club. I'll explain the Arena rules.
Hey, Birb or Cheese, could you help me with a session summary? Like, an actual one? So much plot stuff happened this session and Misty needs to know.

Discussing what the Blue's conversation with Violet about the transformation was like-
GX: "The Blue probably was thinking that Seren could provide some support for Violet. But really, it sounds like the Blue just doesn't know very much about half dragons." Neo: "Uh-huh." GX: (in silly, half mocking voice) "She probably went 'I am full flap-flap, I don't know anything about half flap-flaps.' " Neo: *chuckles* "Canon. That's what she said."

Arena rules!
Normal weapons, magic items, magic spells and abilities are allowed. Psionic weapons count as magic and are allowed. Extreme range AoE magic like Meteor Swarm is only allowed in Grand Champion difficulty. No totems or summons like Alexander/Quetz/Levi allowed. Summoners like Raven can still fight with their Aeons. No Monsties allowed(sorry Karth). Only PCs and Recruitable Characters can participate in Party Matches.
There are two types of matches- exhibition matches and tournament matches. Exhibition matches can be Single Matches or Party Matches, Tournament matches are always Single Matches.
Single Matches- 1v1 Party Matches- Full parties vs full parties. At least 4 characters vs 4 enemies.
Exhibition matches can be signed up for at any time at any arena. Tournaments only happen every once in a while and have to be signed up for in advance.
There are several difficulty levels for arena matches: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Heroic, Epic, and Grand Champion.
To enter into a match, you have to pay a certain amount of money to the Arena Clerk to register. The amount depends on the difficulty of the match. If you win, you get your entrance fee back and a set amount of money based on the difficulty as rewards, as well as other loot such as magic items, totems, gems, etc. The higher the difficulty, the better the rewards. If you lose a match, all you lose is the gold you paid to enter. Killing your opponent is strictly forbidden.
Win Streaks and EX Bosses: Winning a certain amount of matches in a row will net you bonus rewards. Bonus rewards are given at the 5, 15, 30, and 50 mark. In addition, if you win a certain amount of matches on the same difficulty level, your next match on that difficulty level will be against an EX Boss. EX Bosses are much stronger characters that you would usually never fight against. If you defeat an EX Boss, you get the maximum amount of rewards offered for that difficulty level, as well as a special Magic Item relevant to that character and a special Arena Coin. Arena Coins can be traded for various items at the Arena Exchange counter.
The Legendary Cameo Matches: In each arena in each city, there are special uber-difficult EX Boss Party Matches that can only be fought if you win 50 straight matches on Grand Champion difficulty. These boss fights are against very special, and familiar characters and are some of the hardest fights in the entire campaign. They also have some of the best rewards in the campaign.

For summary: After spending the night in Drakkenhall, the party settle down a bit and have some important talks. Warin learns from his parents that Azathoth was likely awakened in the deep roads by a dead legion team, who were all killed except for one named Oghrim, who's now rowdy and unwilling to talk. Slowly Dwarven nobles had begun acting strangely too, and now even the Dwarf King has been effected for some time. Nyl speaks with Maggie, who tells Nyl that the primal magic points have grown stronger and elemental beings such as dryads have become more active.
...I honestly forget what Talon said that was important between, but anyway, the party as a whole got caught up with Violet and learned that even as a half dragon she can assume dragon form (though so far, not willingly.) Much to Seren's chagrin. The three all return slightly beat up, but luckily Arlan was beat up even harder and they succeeded in sealing Azathoth, likely with the Priestess' help as well. They need a lot of help, the Red would like for the Dwarf King to be convinced to allow him to guard the Deep Roads, and The Blue will call a "high summit" so that (hopefully) all the icons will meet on neutral ground to make sure the Azathoth problem is taken care of. This will likely be done after Edea succeeds Izzy as the Dragon Emperor(Empress?.) Because the Diabolist might show, Reddy was hoping Nyl and Selene might get a read on her and make sure she's as chill as can be expected.
Aeva is summoned and comes to rendezvous with the party, alongside Selene. Ostensibly Selene is just there for Diabolist stuff, but she reveals that she's actually a hero of time like us. Not only that, but the first of the 13th Age, who is actually the only "natural" hero of time. More disturbingly, the party were not saved by some anomaly in fate, but rather were set up to become heroes of time by Arlan for reasons unknown. The only one who may be a hitch in that plan is Seren, because she did, in fact, die. Shortly after, the group meet the three again at the end of time. The Chrono Trigger lookin' place where we first met The Blue after leaving Phalos. The Three are all there this time, and there we finally collect our abity to travel time to a limited degree. The Blue implies that Solara may have been affected by Seren in the past somehow, and tells us more about Solara's motivations and troubledness. The Red seems to know more he won't tell us. We also learn that when we travelled into the Black King's memories, the Red really did notice us, and this was not meant to happen.

Nyl PoV:
Alright, let's run through it again. There's a lot going on. After talking with the three and Maggie, we've got a list of leads to follow. The heroes are going to start with finishing restoring Idoun's power. Which is the right choice, getting another powerful ally. Plus the personal investment. After that...
The three and the asshat managed to seal away the megamygdala for a year or so at least. They were injured - Raizel even got hit with a nasty curse - but are healing up fine. There's even a temporary truce with the cult. Not that that'll stop them from doing things in the shadows.
Sealing the thing freed The Forge from its control. Mostly. For a while. The Dwarf King is apparently being a pain in the ass, though. Which is a problem, because Raizel's going to be patrolling the Deeproads for a while. We may need to have Warin's parents intervene.
Speaking of all that stuff, apparently the guy that Warin and I - mostly Warin - got killed was the only Dwarven Aasimar. The Blue thinks they're hunting Aasimar, too. And turns out... Selene is half-Aasimar, half-Demon, half-undead, and half... lots of stuff. So odds are they'll be back for her. Aria's offering to protect her. And speaking of Selene being half-Aasimar, she's also the original Hero of Time for the 13th age. We'll get back to that.
Maggie mentioned that the wilds are getting wilder. Especially around the seals. And as much as I like that, it's also worrying. It could be Drya doing this. Or possibly someone we don't know about. But it's likely the cult is behind it. It's good to hear Steve is doing well, at least.
She also suggested a way we could investigate Solara. Other than the town in the southern wildlands, there's a small island off the coast with a tribe devoted to her. We'd need to either go soon, while she's distracted, or maybe send someone else. Raizel doesn't want me investigating this. Especially not alone. But that's fine. I'm not the heroes' only ally. Something has him really upset. Maybe it has something to do with his missing son? Or another secret I don't know about?
Ah, Maggie got a new apprentice. She seems really proud of her. And Aria got a new apprentice, some half-dragon girl. She seems fun. And Seren and Karth and the pixie all having babies... I'm a little jealous. Maybe I should take on an apprentice.
Which reminds me, there's going to be a summit of all the movers and shakers soon, to decide what to do. It would be good to convince as many as possible to come. The Crusader, Prince of Shadows, and Diabolist are definite maybes. Maybe we could also ask those nice orcs to come? The Orc Lord could become a serious problem, and they've got the best insight. That'll also be our chance to find someone who can investigate Solara.
Speaking of the Diabolist. Aria wants Selene and I to find a way to bar the Abyss long enough for the Gold Wyrm to get some stuff done. But first we need to free the Gold Wyrm from the cult. I have no idea where to begin. Maybe the Diabolist could give us an idea? Otherwise, the only thing I can think of would be to kill Father, steal his power, and use the authority of a prince of demons. Manu definitely wouldn't help. Also we should try to get some dirt on the Diabolist if we get an opportunity.
Back to the heroes of time. Aria concerned that 'crazy' idea I had earlier. That Arlan created the heroes of time. Well, most of them. Not Idoun, that was the previous White. Right, gotta remember to talk to Idoun about Ninian. And Selene was probably the age's 'natural-born' hero of time. The others, Arlan arranged for them to be saved. Something went wrong with his plan for Seren, but that may or may not have stopped his overall goals. It's entirely possible that the heroes themselves are the biggest threat to the empire. Well, not like I could do anything to take them out even if I wanted to. Better not give Aria any ideas. Or the Black. Especially the Black. Or Solara.
It wouldn't be such a big concern if we knew what Arlan was really planning. Why would he need a bunch of heroes of time? Think. What's special about the heroes? They may be the only ones that can stop him. Does he want to be stopped? Is summoning Tiamat not really his plan? Maybe he wants Tiamat to be summoned and killed by the heroes? Could he inherit her power, like an iconship? Or maybe he does want her to be summoned? Maybe he really just misses mommy. Is there some bigger threat he needed the heroes to deal with? Something worth risking their interference? What could pose such a threat to Tiamat? The Megamaygdala? The Black King? Does he know about the horcruxes? If he does, why can't he just smash those himself? I don't think I know enough to make any guesses. Maybe I could figure out more if I had a way I could sit and have a chat with him. Not likely. Though it might help to advance my own goals. The wife might be able to help, too.
Right... The wife. More importantly, the kid. Arlan's secret daughter. That we know literally nothing about. She could probably give a few answers. Sounds like he's really overprotective of her. The other cultists don't know about her. She probably doesn't get out much. If she's the meek little daddy's girl type, we can probably intimidate some information out of her... and really piss off Arlan. Or if she resents him, maybe she could be convinced to help... and really piss off Arlan. Either way, if she's being sheltered all the time she probably hasn't really done anything wrong. But she'll be an Empyreon half-dragon with really strong magic potential. Hm. Maybe I'll make her my apprentice and really piss off Arlan. Ha. Funny joke.
I'm really worried what the heroes of time are talking about now, though. The fact Aria doesn't want me to know... I mean, with everything they have trusted me with, I'm almost scared to know what it could be. At least I don't have to go back into that place. Oh, wait. The Three meet there. I'm Raizel's priestess. I might have to get used to the idea. Ugh.
Oh well. While the heroes are busy, this will be a good chance for me to get some practice. And I really want to hit something. It'll be kinda nice to have a fight where no one's going to swoop in and save me if I screw up for once.
Aeva PoV:
Selene's even cooler than I thought! The new dragon-friend seems nice! Kinda shy, though. OH MY GODS WE CAN GO TRAVEL THOUGH TIME NOW I'M ALREADY CONFUSED WHAT DOES THE BLUE MEAN WITH ALL THIS STUFF ABOUT TIME GOING FORWARD BUT NOT GOING FORWARD AND ALWAYS BEING THE WAY IT IS. I don't care about all this stuff about Solara. She already pretended she was trying to be all good and used it to stab us in the back and never even apologized so how could she ever actually be good? Hmph. Hm. Actually that gives me an idea about something to investigate.
Crow PoV:
I completely forgot what the first thing was. Warin talking to... someone...

Thanks for the summaries guys. It's a huge help. I'll be putting Arena stuff on Roll20, so you guys can hop into Schism and take a look whenever you want. There's going to be some stuff there I haven't posted here, so make sure you at least skim through it at some point. Should be done tonight.

Also, Birb, quick correction: You said Raizel's "missing son" in your summary. It's his daughter, not his son.

Also also, Cheeeeeeeeesybear, you promised me a PM today. Silly dragon, you know I'm running on Cheese time~ I would like the stats on Durgan's stuff and the ol' family hammer, but it might be able to wait a while yet. Thought I'd slip that in, though. Gonna try to clean up Warin's character sheet a bit and have all the gear clearly marked down this week, so I'll check out the arena map during.

Working on loot stuff tonight. Should be done by tomorrow.
I've decided to add Doubles Matches in the Coliseum. 2v2, and certain characters get a bonus when fighting together. Example- Warin and Idoun get a bonus when teaming up. I'll do a list tomorrow of characters who get bonuses when teaming up, and with who, in the Coliseum.

SummerCrow Hey Crow, I know it might be a lot to ask, but would you be willing to help me out with some GM stuff again? I'm behind on the Seven Stars Temple map, and it needs dynamic lighting kinda badly. I didn't want to ask you and bother you before, but at this rate, I don't know if I'll be able to get it done myself in time.

Maybe. I don't mind doing it, I just don't know that I'll have time myself. By when? Couple weeks? We have at least 2 sessions before we get to Seven Stars Temple. Issue is the temple's pretty big and more complex than most maps, and I really suck at doing dynamic lighting.
