So is the point cap for Mechas 70 Points?
Are those the "Item Points" or total Attribute cost if the mech was originally an item?

Looks like Shadow has been officially intinated into the verse right Emppy :3 No he hasn't. You can't have an official initiation unless you duel my Sworns. Emppy said so himself. That's only for playing YGO on the Verse.

I'm toying with the idea of running super-mini individual sessions through messages for everyone as background and to make sure they got the rules down. Except Shadow, since he clearly does. Another reason to get characters done quick.
Speaking of rules down, I've just got to finish transcribing the expansion's additions to the rules and they'll be up. Then help X, then... Uh. I guess make sure things are good to go on Roll20?

Crow? Can you help me finish my dragon? I'm assuming you missed my post and aren't just ignoring me.

You're currently on the queue behind X. Pretty sure he asked first. Either way, he's got more that needs doing and the rules are top priority.

Earth has a 440 armor rating and is only damaged by weapons with an Area +22 mod. Good to know.

Hofstadter's Law's a *****. Got the rules up. Which everyone should read. "But it's so long and complicated" yeah well the original was like 5 gazillion pages instead of 4 and change so deal with it. If everyone ever tries to do a grapple action... First, we'll walk through it step-by-step. Second, I'll swear holy vengeance against their character. Going to start looking at Rai-mus now. Which I've been playing with in the back of my head all day, so this shouldn't take long (famous last words). Looking at the other characters will have to wait until tomorrow.

OK, so ya wanna make a ninja alien-hybrid cyborg soldier bounty hunter child-soldier ex-federation-trooper power-armor-using weird-blooded so-heavy-on-the-mother-symbolism-it-ruined-the-game (who'm I kidding, THAT alone was hardly enough to ruin Other M...) expy. Alright here. So we got... 300 points to start with. And we got... uh... up to 30 in defects. I'm not going to do all the math here, but I'll do enough you should be able to throw the pieces together.
Start with Base Stats. Body, Soul, Mind. I'd say put 180 points here. Body'd be a good choice to be 7, because it impacts HP and acrobatics and generally seems representative of a guy who'd run up and hit you with a sword. Between Soul and Mind, it's kind of a wash. I'd make one 5, one 6.
Leaves 120 ChP for the rest.
So let's start with weapons. I already detailed that Vibroblade. You should probably tune that up by giving it higher Weapon Level ranks in its primary mode and increasing its penetration equally, maybe more armor.
So then the power suit. Just dump 27 (the max) points into Own Big Robot, that'll give you 60 points for the suit. I'll talk more about the suit later.
Other attributes. I'm just going to suggest stuff, you'll have to decide how much you want to spend on each.
Armor - if it's subdermal implants, that's one thing, but you could take it as synthetic skin, and combine it with the Marked Defect (-6). Alternatively, just take Tough instead. Or both.
Combat Technique's a good choice, each one gives you a new technique you can use - look at Deflection, Hardboiled, Lightning Reflexes, Multiple Targets, Reflection.
Extra Actions and Defense. I'd say take one or the other. Probably Defense since it's so much cheaper, and you'll be doing a good deal of damage each attack. So this'd let you attack AND defend.
Jumping, Landspeed, maybe 1 or 2 ranks of Superstrength.
You'll also want to think about the Attack and Defense Combat Mastery Skills or Melee Attack and Defense. The Mastery skills give +1 chance to hit/dodge all attacks. The Melee versions are much cheaper, but only give a bonus to melee techniques. You could split the difference with Defense Combat Mastery and Melee Attack.
Massive Damage Tier 2 (7 points/rank) increases your melee damage multiplier by 1 per rank, which really adds up.
I doubt you'll have points left, but Special Defense (tier 1's) and Heightened Senses would make sense.
Skill-wise. You basically need Acrobatics to define the character. Military Science (because ex-soldier) or Law (because bounty hunter) make sense. You should also consider Electronics, Mechanics, Computers, Interrogation, Intimidation, Urban Tracking, and Forensics.
Defects. If you want Achilles Heel, something that does bonus damage to you, you could take something like magnets. Blind Fury triggered by taking a lot of damage or seeing kids in trouble if you want to bring Jack back. Do not take Inept Attack/Defense or Reduced Damage. Do not. Special Requirement (artificial blood, alien blood, batteries, etc) would be good. Skeleton in the Closet (child soldier), Phobia (giant space dragons after a purple one burned down your home planet) can also work. Marked if your cyborgness is obvious. Unappealing (-1) could also be a thing. And I'm also telling you you can take a Unique: No natural healing defect for -6. Which would mean you can only heal with your sword's vampirism effect, or with maintenance. Which Glurk or Bunny would have to do, I guess.
OK, now that leaves the power suit. 60MP. God, I love the Power Suit. It's so bad. Especially dat Varia suit. Or the Fusion Suit. Hazard's pretty cool, too... Uh. Anyway. Back to building it.
Let's start with the suit's defects. If you want an arm cannon, you can take One Arm (tier 1)... I guess? Reduced Capacity (tier 1), which restricts you to not wearing/carrying anything bulky under the suit; the sword'd have to stay on the outside somewhere - it also means it'd take 2 rounds to put the suit on. Mutual Damage (tier 1 or 2) is the only other thing I think fits here. So that's... -1, -1, and -1 or -2 for Mutual Damage.
For mobility upgrades you'd only really want Jumping, Maneuver Bonus (ground, at least tier 2), or maybe Ground Speed.
For structure, Armor's going to be where you sink a good deal of points (probably 4 or 5 ranks), maybe Toughness or Super-strength.
For others, you're going to need Life Support (tier 2) to survive in space. Multiple attacks is expensive, but maybe worth having. With GM approval, you could get Accessory (ejection system) so you don't die if your suit gets destroyed, or Accessory (magnetic soles) so you can cling to the ship's hull. Hey, I'm the GM. You could do either of those things. If I weren't a lazy bum, I'd also say something about letting you use transformation and acrobatics skills to curl into a tinyball, but I am a lazy bum. Oh, let's not forget all the awesome visors. You can take Sensors multiple times to get various sweeper-majigs, like X-ray or Thermal. I think you said you also wanted Summonable here. Press a button and the suit will show up? It's kinda pricey for what it does. But your call.
And last we have the Weapons. Now, I balanced Weapon Level for mecha to cost 3MP per rank, but that's mainly because they get a damage bonus for being bigger than you. Since this is a human-sized suit, you can take it at 2MP/rank, like normal. So. Arm Cannon. Uh. Just gonna be... Oh, missiles. And bombs... Charge shot, Ice and Plasma beams, not to mention all the weirder ones like Light and Dark, or the Judicator or Imperialist and all the rest in Hunters... Uh. Pick like 1-3 weapons and I'll figure out how you'll want to build them. Remember, only the most expensive's full price, the others are half-cost.

Crow, can you build two identical mechs, one using the Own Big Robot feature and another with the Item feature so I can understand how exactly they work?
