Well what to do?
A) keep heading to town.
B) go back to the original treasure hunt.
C) stand here and argue about the axe.
D} kill Corva before she slaughters everyone in their sleep for the axe.
Note: D is not a real option, it is just a joke!

Are you reallllyyy sure D isn't an option? B/c I would so vote D in a heart beat.
Alas I vote B b/c we need to remember why we came here in the first place to get this treasure and become filthy rich.

B wins hands down. Time +0:30 Note: ok don't worry Corva isn't the type to kill comrades over a shinny bauble. Swiping said bauble and running while everyone sleeps is another story. So make sure she continues to have a reason to stick around, or have the mc watch for her at night.

Weird that nagging feeling to head toward town has gone away. Why did it stop? Were you drawn this way because you somehow sensed that axe? Whatever the case the crash site is calling you again, you should probably head that way. You tell the girls and the two of them shrug in unison. As far as you can tell that means they agree. Bubbles announces the new plan, "Alright mr. Wanderer says back to going after the sunken star. So lets get going." Corva comes out of her drooling over the regalia stupor to say, "Hey spook! Make up your mind already!" Ergh! Why oh why can't you tell her off? Everyone starts heading up the beach, including little miss petulant witch. Argh you need to distance yourself from her. You fly off to the wave damaged stretch of beach, then under water and out to the crash site. The construct is still there, still weird, and you still have no idea what it actually is, but its there so you might as well report it. You head straight toward shore and arrive to see your party arriving at that section of beach as well. No monsters in sight so that leaves time for strategy.

Ok how do we play this?
A) just send Bubbles, she thrives in the water.
B) cast water breathing on the whole group and get it as a team.
C) lets try to get it without magic, it'll be fun.
D) maybe we should find someone with a boat.
E) is it just me or did that vine just move?
F) custom strategy a go-go.

The object is at the bottom of the ocean, right? Would it even do any good to send everyone? Kinda hard to swim while holding something so large. Maybe Bubbles can kick it the way she did the shell?

F.) Have Bubbles and Iris go get the treasure. This way iris only has to cast the water breathing technique on her self instead of the whole group not spending as much mama. While those two are getting the treasure have everyone else (Corva, Hon, and MC) keep an eye on that moving vine. MC can tell Iris about the vine so that way they know about a moving vine. If its hostile then have corva and hon ready to fight.

Couple notes, Bubbles has the water breathing spell not Iris, and forward momentum is stalled pretty fast underwater.

It doesn't have to be one kick... she can have an underwater soccer game! She's at her strongest underwater, correct?

Her magic all revolves around water but she doesn't get any stat boosts. (Unless you count her overdrive transformation, but that is for emergencies.)

Many diverging ideas spring to the fore of your mind. You struggle to reconcile the chaos into a workable plan. You decide it would be best to split up. You plan to have Corva and Hón investigate something that caught your eye in the thicket. But you intend to send Bubbles and Iris to go after the uhm 'whatever it is'. You'll stay with Hón and Corva if they wind up needing help you can fetch Iris and Bubbles, but it wouldn't work the other way around. You tell Iris and Bubbles your plan and point out where the treasure is. Then while Bubbles began focusing her magic Iris spoke up, "Hón, Corva, we're going to check the crash site, could you check the thicket over there? Mr. Spirit says he saw something move over there." And as Bubbles released a wave of blue energy over herself and Iris, Corva responded, "Fine! This is really getting old. You better compensate me if it turns out to be something dangerous." With that Bubbles and Iris headed out into the water, and Corva huffed. Hón then spoke up, "We should start searching." Which they do but you notice the vine you saw before is gone. Any way they still kept searching, its not as if you could redirect them. After a couple minutes though everyones attention turned to the water as Bubbles and Iris shot out on a geyser of water. Bubbles shouted, "We've got company!!" Those words proved an understatement as a swarm of giant tentacles launched from the water...

So is this thing the most powerful thing we encountered and do we even have a fighting chance or is this thing way out of our league??

Its doable but this may be the time to bust out the overdrive transformations of Bubbles and/or Iris. The kraken's tentacles are lined with razor sharp serations and can lift multiple tons each. The kraken also has dark and water spells, and other special attacks. It can't move on land but it can still strike long distance from the waters edge. This will be difficult no matter how you aproach it. Victory rewards are potentialy great though.
This is a midboss.

You might have already went over this but how do overdrive transformations work. Is it something that is temporary but once it wears off the person is useless or is the transformation battle long?
Also does anyone know any electric attacks?
Just trying to get a feel for the situation before I pick an option.
